Chipotle Mexican Grill

THERE ARE JERKS THAT WORK AT THIS RESTAURANT AND THEY ARE MEAN JERKS. I told them I like my steak at a well done and they said they were following protocol of the restaurant! What A-​holes, if you know what I mean? THen I told them I did not like that they had breaks and were eating! I don’t want to see people eating on their breaks! Yuck! Clean bathrooms, BUT SMELL LIKE DOODIE, if you know what I mean!

My go to location in Bloomington. Great food and value.

Went into this location about an hour ago, Monday October 19^th and the line was pretty long. So we waited about 20 minutes to place our order and as soon as we asked for two steak bowls they ran out of steak so we had to wait for more steak to come off the grill which is not that big of a deal for me. The problem is the idiots that run Chipotle seem to think that most of the free world likes medium rare steak. I will NOT eat it unless it is very close to well done. All the customers in front of us got well done steak because the longer it sits in those pans on the line it continues to cook. So of course they run out of steak just as we get up to order and we had to wait for them to cook it and since they were pressured with a long line they didn’t cook the steak very long so it was closer to rare. I asked for it to be cooked longer and i got a smart ass reply that we only cook it one temperature take it or leave it so I turned and walked out the door and took my business elsewhere. I can assure you we will NEVER eat at another Chipotle.

poor service，lack of patient. When one kind of meat is sold out, they cannot add more immediately.

Ok, so tonight they were low on barbacoa, low on chicken, no black beans. Skimping on cheese and guacamole.
Was the B team on tonight? I will try them again. They still are better than kirkwood.

I’m a huge fan for chipotle, I like their bowl with white rice, and beef, fried chicken, shrewd fried tofu (vegetarian choice) are tasty, their mild source and avocado sauce (extra fee) are great! You could also get more spicy sauce! And corns are sweet and delicious, lettuces are fresh, they are my go to place when I want take out meal, by the way, their chips are great too, crispy, and fresh!

Chipotle is the perfect food. This location is as excellent as any other. The service is great as well. I’ve often placed ordered online, then walked in the door minutes later and they will always start working on my order right away if they weren’t already.

I prefer this location to the one on Kirkwood due to service. We have two Chipotles? What luxery! Never had a problem with the stuff or the food but if you are looking for a short line I would look elswhere.

Worst Chipotle I’ve been to, I don’t why what’s wrong with this location but the staff is not at the top of their game like other Chipotle locations, the staff probably isn’t trained well they always get my order wrong!

Two people working the front line when we got there. More people came out afterwards. Service was slow. Chicken was a little charred. Customers service was not the most friendly. The cashier was nice. They were out of fresh cut lemons. Tables were dirty. In the back hallway to the bathroom was a disaster. The food was still good.

Food is good and I like the «fresh» concept. This one slow and they messed up my bill so had to ring again. Took 5+ minutes from order to leaving the register. Burrito + drink = just under $ 10. I wish they did not wrap in foil as I am always eat some. Seems clean and nice.

Chipotle is one of my favorite «fast food» restaurants. As it’s quick, and depending on what you get is pretty healthy. In my case my go to meal is a burrito bowl with brown rice, chicken, mild salsa, hot salsa, corn salsa, guacamole, fajita vegetables, and lettuce.
Anyways on to the real review. Only come to this chipotle during lunch, noon, or late afternoon. This seems to be the best shift of workers. They are nice, give you ample portions of food, and seem to actually enjoy your food. I’ve been to this chipotle location by college mall 3 times for dinner and I can honestly say they are horrible. They seem they hate life, are messy, and they basically give you no portions of food. I’m not saying you need to load it on, because I know there are rules, but these people who work nights just give you very weak portions. I wish I would’ve taken a picture.
The only thing saving this chipotle from one or two stars is the fact I like the lunch group.

Employees seem to be on a constant snack break eating chips out of the pans that another employee is bagging. They ignore customers as they are busy talking to other employees.

Tastes OK I guess. Rice in a burrito, still strange. I had a «beef» burrito the other day, lots of fat & gristle, really taxing on the old dental work. gave up after about ²⁄₃ of that. I stick to the carnitas meat on tacos mostly these days.
Gets a wee bit crowded around lunch time, but not too bad.

This Chipotle is pretty standard as far as Chipotle goes. The most notable thing to mention is that there is lots of seating, and the location is convenient in the College Mall area where there is Kroger and Target. What more does a college student need?!
As far as food, I always enjoy Chipotle’s guacamole. Sometimes I order vegetarian, just to get it and not have to pay extra. The meat is good too, and I recommend getting the fajita vegetables for more veggies and crunch. No extra charge there. The corn salsa is great, and I like to grab the smoky Tabasco sauce on my way to my table to add a nice kick to my food.

Liquor license pending, I recall B-​town being a city where the licenses are few and far between. This is one of the nicer Chipolte locations. Parking is easy, food is fast and hot.
