Went into the place on a THURSDAY evening, hoping to try a good burger. . Was immediately and completely ignored by the wait staff. Spent 15 minutes waiting for someone — anyone — to at least acknowledge the presence of me and my date. The bartender was way too busy flirting with the girls at the bar and the hostess was nowhere to be found. Left with both disgust and the thought that I would post this in order to keep those who are looking for a decent burger to STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE!

We were in Minneapolis, MN and we were on a mission to seek out Juicy Lucy near the area we were staying at. After asking around, we realized that the Juicy Lucy would be in Uptown, MN. We decided to stay local and try the Juicy Lucy here at MOA. It was ok and I thought that it was a bit over-priced. I wouldn’t go back again and I regret the fact that we didn’t go to Uptown in seek of a better Juicy Lucy burger.

Deep fried green olives are a thing of beauty. I love everything about olives and have been waiting for this dish to show up at he MN State Fair for years, indent understand why it has not shown up yet. Anyways I was very anxious to try these little treats and found that the batter they used was very bland. The olives were great but they could do so much better with the batter. I was very disappointed, and won’t head back any time soon.

There are so many better options in the mall than this place. Can’t imagine it will be around that much longer Pros — Connected to a cool comedy club. — Decent enough burgers. Cons — Way over priced. — Burgers do not come w/sides of fries or anything else. It’s all a-la-carte. — Service is fair for how slow this place is usually. — It’s on the 4th floor, nosebleeds section unless you’re already up there for… the other restaurants in the vicinity.

My mother, sister and I had lunch here. It was mid-week and there was only one other table full. They had the bleu cheese burgers; I had the chicken sandwich. All three of us were pleased. Service was good, the waitress was friendly, and all things considered it was worthwhile. The place looks to be focused on the apres-movie crowd and it’s only competition is Hooters(gag) and a Mexican restaurant.

Just enjoyed lunch at R Burger! Yes — I said enjoyed. Despite the low rating I decided to try it for myself. Our server Jeanine was attentive and accommodating. The place was totally empty and never had another customer the whole time we were there. Out of the 4 of us, 3 had Kobe Burger and 1 a chicken sandwich. The burger was good, the price was high but the burger was good — nuff said. The poutine we had as a starter was good — that is fries covered with cheese covered with gravy. The sweet potato fries were excellent. Is this the best burger I have ever had? Not quite, that’s why I gave them a 4. Buon Appetito

We were shopping at MOA and stopped at the Burger Bar for lunch. We were not impressed. The burgers(we tried 3, there were 3 of us) we ALL overcooked(they only cook them to one temperature) and very dry. I was excited to try the Kobe, and for $ 10+ with out fries was very mediocre. We also had the R Blend and the Blue Lucy, with the Lucy being the best at slightly above average. The fries were not cooked correctly, we tried the mixed fries(sweet and regular) and they were also disappointing. The service was bad, but the waitress was new, so I guess it may be better some other day… I had to get my check from her after sitting there for 10 minutes not eating. I would skip the burger bar, any sit-down chain burger is just as good if not better and cheaper and you get free fries!

I agree with Nique. Passing through Minneapolis we came into MOA for dinner. I was craving a burger so when we saw this listed we decided to try it. At 7PM with a comedy show looming at 8 there were tables to be had in the bar area so we found a seat with no problem. The waitress was slow to bring us menus and take our drink order so we should have gotten a clue then. We placed our order by 7:30. We were meeting some family and catching up so it wasn’t until 8⁄8:15 we realized we hadn’t gotten our food yet but the table behind us who ordered right before us had just been served. When we asked our waitress about the order she came back with the news that it couldn’t be found! When we asked her to put it back in she sighed and said but it would take an hour at least and did we really want it. When reminded that this was our second order so it shouldn’t be behind others she said she could ask her manager and returned with the news that it would still be ½ an hour because the kitchen was so backed up. When told to go ahead and put the order in again we got another look of «really?» To her credit she brought us two basket of fries that were comped without our asking. Once we got our food I have to say the Kobe burger was delicious. So I’d have to say if you are in a hurry, don’t bother but if you have time to kill and don’t mind waiting, the burgers are very good.

Service was a little slow especially for a small place like this. But I like how they serve Kobe burgers. Very juicy! It’s a little on the pricey side but what do you expect? It’s inside the Mall of America, top floor. They serve fries separately and alcoholic beverages. If you’re in MOA craving a good burger, I suggest you come here. It’s something else besides Johnny Rockets and Fuddruckers.
