Parking: Easily accessible right off the highway. Very hard to miss, with ample, safe parking outdoors. Parking lot is clean, and a key card is needed to enter the hotel side doors. Large mall parking lot with a grass patch, good for throwing the ball around with your kids. Food: Cracker Barrel, Burger King, Wendys, Perkins and Quaker, Steak and Lube(Not recommended,) all within walking distance. Perkins supposedley offers a discount when a hotel key card is shown. Check-In: We arrived around 9 p.m. on a Saturday night. A friendly elderly man greeted us behind the desk and helped us. He held my credit card on file and directed us to our room. Room: Everything was satisfactory for the price. Beds were neatly made, drawers were empty and bathroom was clean. Our refrigerator worked and kept beverages cold, while there was no mini bar to worry about. One of the bed’s sheets were stained, but we just laid the additional sheet over it. The television connection wasn’t all that great and frequent static. I noticed they used metal nails for the wooden molding in the restroom, that were heavily rusted. Continental Breakfast: Free breakfast was included with our stay. It was as expected, two types of cereal, small muffins, eggo style waffles with coffee. No fresh fruit. There was confusion on where to get the hot water from, when we later found out came from the water cooler away from the buffet. 10:00 A.M. Checkout: Very quick and simple. No additional or hidden fees were added. We were offered additional pamphlets for activities in the area and left. The front desk manager, Montana had an attitude that I didn’t appreciate. I would have given a 5 star rating but I do not like the fact that animals are allowed to stay, for an additional fee.

Reserve this hotel the day before we stayed using our Choice Privilege points. I needed a pet friendly room with 2 beds and NO smoking. I called the hotel and they had that room but C.P. app and phone reservations said there was no such room and pushed to put me in a non smoking with no pets. THAT wasn’t happening. I called the hotel and they said just make the reservation with the room C.P. could give me and they would fix it. They did what they said the would. We got there and the room I wanted was waiting for me. This is the second time I stayed in a pet friendly room.(We just started traveling with our pet.) I was expecting it to smell like wet dog like the last place we stayed with our family dog but it didn’t. I was very pleased about that. Clean room and front desk was very friendly and very helpful. All vending machines worked and they have complimentary doggy bones at the front desk. Also had local coupons for nearby food delivery if you ask for them. Breakfast wasn’t too big but it also wasn’t to small. Not much hot food but we still had full bellies when we left. WiFi worked great for us. I plan on staying here in the future. Frackville was closer to our family but too many bad reviews. Not to mention shopping is walking distance. Too bad I was too tired to shop during our stay.
