The owners of this restaurant are SORUDE! The female owner is so unfriendly and runs this place like a drill sergeant. The male owner who cooks always comes out front and never smiles. They have«certain» friends that must go there all the time because they are the only ones that they are nice to. The food is pretty good. Lots of other places with nicer owner/hosts. Won’t waste my money here again.

It’s the closest I’ve come to Italy in Bluffton the food was terrific the people were great and I had a wonderful time. I wanted to try everything on the menu the food was so good. And you have to save room for dessert.

If your looking for mouth watering Italian food, in the Hilton Head Island and Bluffton area, your looking for Dolce Vita. Everytime I eat here my mouth and stomach leave extremely happy. You can tell the food is prepared with love and pride because every bite seems to get better. You have to eat here and once you do, you will come back as many times as you can. Absolutely adore this place!

Absolutely fantastic! As an Italian-American(100%, I might add), I have to admit that I rarely eat Italian food except when I am in Italy proper. The reason is that most places(especially in this area) take the inexpensive route and buy the pasta instead of making it fresh. I went tonight with a group of friends to Dolce Vita and I was shocked to see that the place was packed. Always a good sign but I was still apprehensive since my only experience so far with Italian food were two restaurants in this area; one in Bluffton that beyond horrible and the other in Hilton Head that is supposed to be the best and it was sub-par. Honestly… this restaurant was the closest that I have found in this area to very good Italian food. The gnocchi was light and delightfully tasteful. My friends had the calamari, pear/Gorgonzola ravioli and the Chicken Parmesan with the broccoli Rabe. All of us were in heaven. Arlene and Joe were very thoughtful and came to our table to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend this restaurant. IN fact, I will go out on a limb and say that it was the best Italian food in the Hilton Head area.

Really not great Italian food. Calamari was AWFUL. ALL other dishes were mediocre. If you like scilian you probably will like it since it’s heavier sauce

Wow what an amazing restaurant. The pasta is HOMEMADE, the sauces are HOMEMADE, and the tomatoes are imported. The amount of joy my heart experienced after one bite was exponential. If you have not eaten here you definitely need to. I got the sea scallops and wow. Absolutely wonderful. This place will change your life. The head chef is the owner and he is from Italy, definitely knows what he is doing. His wife is hostess and she is so lovely. Awesome service. Oh he also homemakes his chocolate for the triple layer cake and honestly it was the most heavenly thing I have ever consumed.

Wonderful new Italian restaurant in Bluffton! Owners eager to please with good service, fresh pasta & complimentary lemoncello. The eggplant rollitini melted in my mouth and the linguini with white clam sauce was great. Can’t wait to go back!
