We ate at Napoli for the second time and brought friends for their first time. We had a excellent meal. We all ordered different dishes and all four of us raved about the food. It was a busy night there but our meals were hot and delicious. The staff was friendly and smiling. Prices were very reasonable. If you have not been you should try it. Very nice ambiance. We will be back!

We have enjoyed meals at Napoli 3 times in the past few months. The food has been very good, the capellini excellent. The service is good and the staff very helpful. My husband had the pizza on our last visit and did enjoy it also. Bread served warm with nice dipping oil.

We went to Napoli for the first time this evening. Excellent reasonably priced menu with all the great Italian favorites. Nice atmosphere. Friendly. A good choice for any occasion.

We arrived on a Thursday evening at 6:25 eager to enjoy some Italian food. We waited at the front for five minutes with no host or hostess in site. Finally, a waiter came over to seat us just as we were about to leave(we were a table of 2). By this time a table of 3 and a table of 4 had arrived behind us. The waiter readied a table and sat us as well as the other guests behind us. The other guests received service before us(mind you, the restaurant was half empty!). Finally we received our drinks and our waiter said«I’ll be right out with some bread». 20 minutes later we had no bread and had not seen our waiter. We left! I have no idea if their food is worth eating, but their service sucks!

This used to be a pizzeria but has since been shut down, remodeled, renamed and restaffed. My mother and I went to this restaurant as it had been reccomended by a neighbor for having great pizza. My mom put in a reservation for 6:30 and we all arrived on time. From the outside it looks like its some hidden bar but on the inside it is very well decorated and can be seen as high priced. This took me aback as online there was still information about the restaurant as a casual dining pizzeria. It has since been renamed from Napoli Ristorante and Pizzeria to the current name. When we first arrived no one was at the hostess stand and we had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to eventually come up and find a place for us. They apparently forgot that we had a reservation and put us in a booth in the far back of the restaurant. Once seated it took an additional 10 minutes for our server to show up and take our drink orders, during this time, since I was very dehydrated, I went up to the bar to ask for a glass of water and expected someone to help me since 3 people were behind the bar. One bartender said I would need to wait, gave me the cold shoulder and then proceeded to take a couple’s order. Once done with their order she did not even bother to get me a glass of water and the other women standing behind the bar didn’t even care to help me. Once I returned to my seat our server finally arrived with water, and we immediately ordered. Food was okay but the service was terrible. Our server was extremely slow and would forget to refill our drinks even after asking. Took forever to get anything we asked for and seemed like they did not care to even serve us. Absolutely terrible service, will never go back. Do not recommend.

Our party of four arrived without a reservation on a Friday around 6:30. We were seated immediately. At first glance, the décor was nice, if a bit dark. We all felt out of place, and eventually realized the surroundings were too ornate for what is essentially a noisy pizzeria, with a few too many tables, and the mismatch was off-putting. The rest of the problems started small: Our waitress told us they had no lemons for our beverages, and that they offered only four types of pasta. We had to ask for bread. Getting sweetener took two tries. Our waitress was always pleasant, but clearly overworked and distracted. She was difficult to locate; often disappearing for unusually long periods. The problems were still small, but began to build. The Napoli salad does not come with croutons, but I asked to have some included. It initially seemed they had been forgotten until my wife discovered them in her salad. They were chewy instead of crisp. The three of us who ordered dishes with red sauce noticed an off taste which we later identified as anise. Plus the garlic was so heavy in all four dishes that we joked about grabbing handfuls of mints on the way out. I ordered the chicken Parmesan, and asked for meat sauce on my pasta(an extra $ 4). The chicken was tough and chewy, and virtually tasteless. The texture was off, too. Rather than a light, crispy, golden-brown breading, the chicken seemed to be coated in a doughy, gray material with a thickness so uniform, it seemed almost machine-processed. I offered a piece to my wife. Neither of us could identify the meat, but agreed it was not chicken. I thought I might have been served veal. I stopped eating, and advised our waitress. A well-trained server’s response would have been something like, «What can I do to make this right?» Instead, our waitress simply apologized, and took my plate to the kitchen. A few minutes later, she returned with my plate and announced it was definitely chicken because they were out of veal(along with lemons and all but four types of pasta). I said in that case, I didn’t want the dish because it was poorly prepared. The waitress returned to the kitchen with my dish. My companions had eaten all they wanted, and one had offered me her remaining spaghetti and meat/anise sauce — which I was well into — when our waitress finally returned. She said her manager had instructed her to remove the charge for the chicken and to offer me something else. I ordered more of the spaghetti and meat sauce. The spaghetti was overcooked and pasty. Again, I offered a taste to my wife to be sure I wasn’t just looking for problems. She agreed on the pasty texture. The meat sauce was so full of anise and even more garlic than before, that I just left it. When our waitress asked if everything was alright, I smiled and said we should forget about it. But she pressed the point, so I admitted the pasta was not good. Again, apologies. In most restaurants, my meal and its replacement would have been comped. Many places would have comped the whole table. Napoli’s not only charged me for the spaghetti, but the $ 4 charge for meat sauce on my first dish was still on the bill. Normally, I’d have just blown it off, but after this experience, I insisted it be removed.

Had a fantastic dinner Saturday night(5⁄9). Got there late and didn’t know how great it would be as we were one of the last tables sat. We started off with meatball sliders that we’re not your traditional goop on a bun. The meatballs were fantastic on a crusty bread with a wonderful touch of sauce and then some basil infused olive oil on the dish. Really good. Then we had clam chowder that had a kick of spice which hit the spot. Then we ordered pizza because really, that’s all we were coming out for and it was divine. Ordered basil on top of the pepperoni pizza and that is the way to go. Crust was perfect, sauce was perfect, pepperoni tasted good. All-around wonderful meal. Will definitely be back and will definitely recommend everybody I know!

We have eaten here several times since it re-opened under new management. The pizza is great and I have also gotten the eggplant parmigiana which is excellent. The bread and salads are always fresh.

I want to state that it appears that all of the reviews which are mostly negative are from a former owner, not the current operation after the completion of the renovation. My wife and I ate here last evening for my birthday. We had attempted to eat here the previous night, however, I have been suffering from extreme migraines and we had to leave. Kim, who is the greeter at least on occasion, was so very accommodating and also works for our optometrist business. I have to say that it is probably one of the prettiest restaurants with great sound insulation in the ceiling where you don’t hear everyone’s conversations around you like in the past. The service was excellent from everyone there, thank you. My wife ordered eggplant Parmesan and she ate the entire dish like she had not eaten in a week, she loved it. I took a chance and ordered chicken franncese which is my specialty at home. It was outstanding. I really hope that the people who gave negative reviews in the past would revisit because this is not the same place as when it first opened, different owner, different staff, different attitude. It was great! Thank you, David FYI I’m using Siri and if she screwed up, not my fault, call Apple.

Was there for early dinner got eggplant parmigiana wife spaghetti and meatballs. Both of us are Italian and we thought the red sauce was one of the worst we had. Tasted like Hunts right out of the can also portions are very small– one thin piece of eggplant you couldn’t taste. A big thumbs down for new owners– our third and final try.
