Just picked up our fish sandwiches. Quoted 50 min for take out… but figured no big deal since it is a Friday night and they are probably busy. Turns out it was not worth the wait. The bread on our fish sandwiches is hard as a rock. French fries are lukewarm. Fish is cold. Probably would have been tasty if it was warm but cold fish just grosses me out. Not to mention it was 25 dollars for this garbage.

Love this place. The potato pizza is amazing. My husband is going to try the stromboli as take home. Never had anything here I wasn’t happy with. A good family restaurant

My boyfriend recently got hired here to bus and wash dishes, and keep in mind he is only 17. They were making him work on school nights well into 2 in the morning as he was waiting for the cooks to get done drinking so he could finish his job. When he told his manger he didn’t want to wait until 2 in the morning to leave work, she got angry and began scheduling only once a week. Then, she ended up firing him. Her excuse? He didn’t smile enough when busing.

This was the first time here for me and my wife. It’s a pizza joint so you order pizza, right? I ordered their more expensive«hand tossed» thin crust while my wife ordered the Specialty pizza Margarita pizza. She ask if it could be made on thin crust. They said«No». Both came in about 15 minutes and looked really good. After eating a slice or two of my Pepperoni, sausage and mushroom pizza I quickly was real disappointed. The crust was burnt on the bottom and had no flavor at all. This is a pizza place. It should have great pizza. It was bland. My wife pizza was thicker and actually tasted better. I joked with her and took a piece of her pizza and scrapped off her toppings on a piece of the thin crust that I had done the same. Thin crust Margarita pizza! She also noticed the a problem with the thin crust. Just plain bland. I noticed after taking her toppings of the original crust that the top of the crust was all doughy. It wasn’t cooked enough. Raw dough! I tried her pizza and it was better, but nothing special. Gia’s should probably change their name to «Gia’s Italian» or something not related to Pizza. In all fairness we did not try any of their other food. We did notice that people were not coming in to pick up pizzas at all. The Pizza Hut that was their before certainly did much more business with pizza and had a steady crowd with carryout. Pizza huts pizza was better than this. Disappointing. Sorry.

Love the food here. I’ve had their pizza, steak salad, calzone, manicotti, and fried greens. the greens are soooo good! fried isn’t really a good word for them. Escarole in olive oil with garlic, and feta. I would say it’s all sautéed together. Can you tell I love them? One thing not to try is the beer batter haddock. It’s all breading and oil and a disappointment. all in all give this place a try!

Food is Awesome people are even more awesome. My wife and I order take out a lot as well as frequently eat at the restaurant. Music selection could be better though.

This was our first trip to Gia’s. We were looking for something new and different and we found it! Our server, Shiloh, new the menu well and provided excellent service. The menu was filled with family originals that you can’t find anywhere else. And, the food was outstanding! We will definitely come back.

We have been meaning to try this place since we moved to the area a year ago. We finally had the opportunity to give it a shot and we’ll definitely be back! Nothing fancy, in an old Pizza Hut, but the food is excellent. We both had the spicy pink sauce on pasta and shared the appetizer greens. All perfection and a great price too!

I haven’t been to Gia’s but twice since they opened. Once was when we lived in Boardman back between 2009 – 2011 and then today. My sisters warned me that some days it’s great, other days, it can be just ok. Maybe today was a «just ok» day for them? The husband got a philly cheesesteak. It comes with fries. I got a turkey BLT and it, too, should come with fries. Then we got a fried cheese. There were a few of our orders together and the girl rang them up separately, which was great. One of my sisters got a salad instead of fries with her sandwich and when we went to go pick up the dinners, as we were double checking each item, we found my sandwich didn’t have fries. When questioned, the girl said, «Well, you ordered a side salad instead.» Which would have been ok if there were two side salads packed in the order, but there was only 1, as per the way we had called it in. So she had to go get another fry for us. The food was barely warm by the time we got it back to the house less than a mile away, which didn’t hurt my turkey BLT too much, but the fries were soggy and our fried cheese was a hard block of mozzarella with cold sauce on it. The positive points were that the sandwich I had was decent — not the best, but the bread had a nice crust to it and the turkey was flavorful. The bacon was weirdly cut up into chunks and some of it wasn’t cooked properly or completely. In addition, on the sandwich, it was shoved towards the back, so there wasn’t a good spread of it across the entire thing. When I bit into that section, all I got was bacon. Also, the sauce on the fried cheese was good. I don’t like a spicy sauce, and this wasn’t. We probably wouldn’t go back for takeout from there again. It wasn’t a lot of money spent per each of our orders, but it wasn’t memorable enough to make it a stop for me when I come to town to visit.

Following a long work day I was driving by Gias. Didnt have a phone number to pre order– winged it, presented my order and paid. Rather then hanging. I returned to my truck to do paper work as I had about 20 mins. Twelve mins pass when a kind server brings me my pizza… wow right to my vehicle. Very good pizza; & have returned several times since.

Went on a Friday night, got seated right away, waitress came right over for drinks. She came back in less than 5 min or so with drinks and to ask for our order which I thought was very fast and felt rushed at this which wasn’t a big as we already had an idea what we wanted. I asked for lasagna and was told they were out«WHATAREYOUKIDDINGMEON A FRIDAYNIGHT», so I picked up menu and started looking again as waitress stood waiting, again I felt rushed, I hastily made my choice she put our order in and another waitress game right away with our salads and bread minus 1, mine of course it came after every ins else was done. Everyone ordered salad without olives and you guessed it they all came with, when I got mine she started taking my sons salad plate off table he wasn’t even finished. Our meals came they were only average my son finished his meal before the rest of us the waitress started cleaning off the table before the rest of us were finished eating as she was cleaning off table while the rest of were still eating. I was still eating she was asking if we wanted dessert. We weren’t even finished eating yet WTH! Needless to say I didn’t leave my customary 20%. If you are in a hurry and want to be rushed in and out like waffle house this it a great place with average food and above average prices I don’t think we Will be back any time soon.

Mediocre at best. Had to wait an exceptionally long time for our appetizer and dinner was no help. I had the chicken parm sandwich and I honestly can’t remember anything about it. I hate paying for food that can’t hold ones attention for very long. It’s an old Pizza Hut so it’s not very big inside and seems very dark. The waitress seemed bothered by having to do her job. Prices are average for this area.
