This is one of the best restaurants in east Boca. The food is great, the service excellent. Casual yet chic. The servers are highly experienced and make you feel comfortable right away. Try the hummus(Dip it) or the octopus appetizer. They are unbelievable! And then order the pork chops. If you like pork, this one is outstanding. We like to bring our own vine/champagne because I only like certain brands. Corkage fee is $ 25.

I love this restaurant, great atmosphere and delicious food. I can’t help but get the roast chicken every time I go, it’s served with corn polenta in a juice that is so amazing you want to lick the plate! For dessert I generally get the Nutella brownie but the cookie is worth a try too. Prepare yourself you will need to walk a few miles after this experience, but it is well worth it.

2nd time here to this spot. Great experience with great food. We had Keith this time, and Joel the first. Both are experienced and have a great menu tour. I’m glad to see that 13 American table hires professional that make a good experience, a great one. I had the«can’t miss» chicken with grain mustard pan sauce reduced down from the chicken stock. Amazing. My father doubled up on the eggplant appetizer which is probably the best eggplant I have ever tasted. Mom got the burger the first time out, then moved to the pork Ragu. Also bomb as it has a smoky flavor from the pork with the sauce. Also, the octopus we had twice. Tender, tasty, and seasoned well. Get it. All in all, this spot is great, as we will be regulars. Thank you 13 American table.

Half off wine night and the Josper wings made me ready learn how to fly. The salad ingredients, hummus, and sausage added up to an even more complete dining, with the staff friendly, professional, and courteous. Next time I will have to get a steak.

Went for an enjoyable night out with a friend tonight. We shared a bottle +1 of red blend, an eggplant appetizer, and an entire salad. All were great and the service was well-above par. The food highlight was the kale salad with spicy grilled chicken. Can’t wait to go back and have that again. I would give 5 stars if there were just a few more recognizable wine selections and the dressing and cheese were a bit lighter on the kale Caesar. But, I will definitely recommend for the discriminating diners in my circle just the same. Valet parking is right along side the place and easy as can be.

This is an adorable little place in East Boca Raton that I highly recommend. They change their menu seasonally, and the food is always really delicious and fresh. I love getting plates to share at this place and all of their cocktails are awesome. It has a modern ambiance inside and is nice and romantic, but I definitely love sitting outside the most whenever I come here. The service is always excellent, everyone is very friends and it’s an overall fabulous experience. I am glad they do well here. I highly recommend the octopus — it is sooooooo good! Also my boyfriend loves the cheese burger taco, it’s only one taco but he gulfs it right up! Also their mac n cheese is the bomb. They definitely know what they are doing. If you don’t want valet service, it’s really easy to just park across the street, that’s what my boyfriend and I always do.

OMG13 American Table in Boca Raton is amazing! It’s complete with that«feel good vibe» it serves up absolutely delicious food and the staff is so happy and friendly! Patrick, my bartender is warm and welcoming and the owner Albert welcomed me with a smile and actually offered to serve me a drink, while I waited for a seat at the bar! I watched as he walked around all night greeting people and checking in on the satisfaction at each table. A++ service, atmosphere and food!!! This place!

My husband and I come here pretty often. I’d say around once a month. I love how the menu changes! I love that aspect of restaurants because you’re not given the same options every time you go and it allows you to try different things. If it can be cooked in a josper, it’s going in the josper and it comes to your table hot and delicious. This time around my husband was torn between the seabass and pork chop. Our waitress cleared that up real quick… pork chop, always. I went with a hotdog(pregnancy craving). The pork chop cooked medium looked AMAZING. My husband didn’t talk much and after he was done, I thought he was going to ask for the bone to take home. My hotdog wasn’t like any other I’d had before and it was good, for being a hotdog. Seriously. Chicago style with cheese, these tiny hot peppers, tomato. We always order the crispy potatoes that come with this cheesey-mustard sauce that is to die for. In short: Definitely make a reservation. You’ll be happy with the service. Drinks are delish, good enough wine list. Get the pork chop and the crispy potatoes :)

Another great night, starting with craft beers and cocktails at the bar for happy hour; followed by dinner on the patio. Alberto greets you when he comes in, and tonight we were lucky to have his young son working a shift as well. Hard to beat possibly the most charming father and son restauranteur duo in Boca. We had dinner with in laws and cousins tonight, so we traversed the cocktail menu… but the Pepper Kicker was a solid hit. Everything for dinner was quite good, with the highlights being the porkchop, the roasted shrimp, and the smoked pork rigatoni. You heard me… smoked pork rigatoni. It was like a North Carolina Italian mashup, that was very good. I asked Alberto if I could take a picture of him and his little boy. He was gracious to allow it. Folks, this next generation of restauranteur was as hard working as he was cute! If you have not been to 13 American Table, you are missing out. Wait… strike that. Don’t go; I don’t need a bigger crowd to contend with.

One of my new favorite Boca hotspots. Recently, I was a first timer at 13 American Table. Even though, it’s a touch on the smaller side, I could not be more pleased with the ambiance, service(even the valet guys are hospitable) and most importantly, quality of food. There aren’t a lot of places that make you feel right at home — 13 American Table does just this. Our server was attentive and super personable — the reason I will return. To start, I dove head first into the creamy lucious baked man-n-cheese — highly recommend. They even allow you to add chicken, shrimp or bacon(genius)! I then indulged in a perfectly executed Ahi Tuna entrée accompanied by tasty roasted vegetables and a sauce only angels could deliver. Perfect weekend ended with a perfect meal. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You’re welcome!

Delightful low key atmosphere, interesting cooking technique, great service. My husband and I shared a Kale Caesar salad. The kale was flavorful, the dressing creamy and not overdone, fresh Parmesan chips were great. I had salmon cooked just right in a pea, onion pesto sauce. Delicious but a little rich for my taste. My husbands chicken was ok.(I’m not a chicken fan.). We enjoyed our visit.

I am always running behind with my reviews, so with much embarrassment, I am finally getting to 13 American Table. I have so many wonderful things to tell you about this Boca hotspot, I don’t know where to begin, so let me start with saying that this is not your«typical Boca hoity toity» restaurant. If you are seeking a snobby pretentious place to have dinner, go somewhere else. Here, you will have an incredibly made meal in a family owned, casual BUT elegant setting that is extremely unpretentious. The first time I dined here, we sat outside on the patio, in the summer heat. Guess what? I was not hot at all. They have industrial strength fans outside, so it was quite enjoyable eating dinner outdoors and not breaking a sweat. I remained comfortable throughout my meal and could not have been happier. What??? They cook your food in a Josper??? What is a Josper??? I never heard of such a thing. Let me tell you a little bit about the famous Josper Oven. First, it is made in Spain and second, it is very expensive. The Josper is a high temperature, coal fueled, broiler oven and grill in one two level unit. I had the opportunity to see the Josper when I was in the kitchen(thank you Marc for making that happen) and let me just say, the Josper makes the kitchen very hot. If I remember correctly, it can get as high as a thousand degrees or higher. So while I was in the kitchen, I was immediately impressed by how immaculate they kept it. I have been in my share of restaurant kitchens(years of working in restaurants when I was younger) and I was really amazed that the kitchen was so clean and tidy. If you know me, then you know that I am not easily impressed, but the cleanliness of the kitchen blew me away. The food is amazing. The Quinoa Salad is fantastic & I added chicken(cooked in the Josper of coarse) & the chicken was so moist & juicy. The salad had toasted pistachios, chopped veggies & feta cheese. I asked for the Sherry Vinaigrette on the side but it was delicious. The salad was enough for two meals. I co-hosted a UYE with Marc several months ago. The event was a huge success due to Alberto and Ben, truly the best owner/mgt team around. No detail was overlooked & Marc even arranged for everyone in our party to have separate checks. A big thank you to Ben, Alberto and Marc for making this night happen. We took over the restaurant and everyone enjoyed themselves. Our event was on a Wednesday, which allowed our guests to take advantage of their«Wine Down Wednesday«special. In a nutshell, all wine bottles were half off & in the bar only, they had a bottomless wine deal for just $ 13.00. Our guests enjoyed many bottles of wine at a great savings. I tasted the Fig Flatbread, white bean hummus & macaroni & cheese, but my favorite was the grilled octopus that was served with an incredible chickpea salad. I was busy talking to everyone, ok, working the room, but my friends kept sticking their forks in my mouth so I can taste everything. I love my friends… Valet parking is available & you can have your car washed while you are eating which I think is a great concept for those of you who like to multi-task. They open daily at 5pm and reservations are accepted & highly recommended. A professional ownership /mgt team, exceptional service, scrumptious food and reasonable prices makes this a great spot for dinner. The icing on the cake is that you won’t deal with the stuffy attitudes you get at some other Boca restaurants and you will get to experience the Josper! Definitely a must try if you are in Boca.

We were looking for a new place to try for dinner. We liked the reviews and pics on Unilocal so we decided to give it a shot. We called to make a late reservation and a very polite voice said«come on in we have tables for two available». The waiter we had was great, he went over everything on the menu and was excited to help us make our decision with a couple of his personal favorites. My wife went his recommendation and ordered the roasted shrimp & fennel, I went with the venison Tri-Tip with a appetizer of grilled octopus. The food came out it looked and smelled amazing. The flavors of the meals were off the chain. The whole experience from phone call to leaving was awesome. I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back soon!

So many original and innovative combinations of flavors and textures! The staff was all very friendly and attentive! We shared a warm chocolate cookie for dessert. We will definitely return!

I was here for the UYE hosted by Britt, Marc, and Dennis. They did an amazing job putting this together. From the personalized name tags to the great turnout it was obvious that they put a lot of work into this event. We were there during Happy Hour when appetizers, which they call Share Plates, are $ 7.00. It was also Wine Wednesday when bottles of wine are half price. Glasses of wine with free refills are $ 12, but only at the bar. Since we were at a table we bought a bottle. We decided to start with a few share plates and if we were still hungry we would order entrees. We were trying to decide what to order when our table mates, Sue and Michael, offered us a taste of their food. They had the flat bread and the octopus. We tried the flatbread and decided that was a must order. Clyde wanted nothing to do with octopus. I tried it and it was tasty. The chick pea salad that came with the octopus was delicious. We ordered from the pairings menu. We had the flatbread, macaroni and cheese, and a dish called Schmear It which was three different kinds of hummus with pita bread. We paired that with a delicious bottle of Riesling. The flatbread was incredible. The crust was thin and slightly crisp. The fig, onion, goat cheese, and Rosemary topping was sweet without being overpowering. The macaroni and cheese was among the best I’ve ever eaten. It was perfectly cooked with a light crust of crushed bread crumbs baked on top. The three kinds of hummus was just okay for me. There was garlic white bean, sweet pepper, and sweet beet. There was nothing wrong with it, but I thought it would be more like traditional hummus. Since we filled up on the appetizers we didn’t order entrees. I’m looking forward to going back for dinner. There were several items on the menu that I’d like to try. I’ll probably make it on a Wednesday so I can take advantage of the half price bottles of wine. I really enjoyed this UYE. The food, the wine, and visiting with Unilocal friends was terrific. Thank you so much Britt, Marc, and Dennis.

You know we just couldn’t miss Britt and Marc’s UYE — even if it meant driving to Boca on a Wednesday night. That’s what got us there but the food, service and ambiance is what entices us to return. We walked in to find so many Unilocal friends — it was fabulous! I genuinely love spending time with Unilocalers and last night was no exception. We are close, warm and caring towards one another. We share food along with life stories. I love that. Regarding the food, we enjoyed: Flatbread: figs, sopressata, caramelized onions, goat cheese and rosemary. All the ingredients melted together and everyone enjoyed the taste. Grilled octopus: served over chickpea/hummus salad and finely sliced romaine. The olive oil was a bit heavy-handed for me but hubby loved it, as did Diane and Clyde. Venison brisket taco: soft venison meat with a kiss of Chinese 5 spice and barbecue sauce garnished with fresh blueberries and endive slaw. This was delicious, albeit very vinegary when reheated. Watermelon & beet salad: feta, red onion, arugula, and mint in a red wine vinaigrette. I only tasted a forkful of arugula(too full) but it was good. Hubby had some salad and thought it was a hit! We wanted to order a dish cooked in the josper, a coal heated two tiered oven with capability to go to 1000 degrees, but we were so full from the other dishes — two of which we took home! But next time we want to try either the pork chop, chicken, venison or steak dishes. We went into the(incredibly clean) kitchen area and talked to the sous chef about the josper. He opened the door and it was only at 400 – 500 degrees but the heat that emitted from the oven was intense. We saw a tortilla expand in seconds. I thought it was great that both the chef and owner made rounds in the dining room to welcome us to the restaurant. Britt and Marc arranged for everyone to get separate checks — which is a huge thing considering that most of us ordered several dishes and drinks. The servers were on point and did a great job of serving and presenting accurate bills. Well done!

I have mixed feelings about this one… I was so excited to try this place. Friends and fellow Unilocalers have nothing but good things to say about it. The reviews are great and the pictures, mouth-watering. Unfortunately my experience wasn’t the same. Now, I’m not saying the place is not worth going to… it definitely has some strong dishes like the most amazing jumbo shrimp mac’n cheese. The fries that came with our sandwiches were delicious, those that you have one and can’t stop eating more. These are the things that make me consider giving 13 American Table another chance but, the rest of our meal, has me feeling hesitant. To start, we ordered drinks. I love drinks with a little spicy kick in them so, I got the Kicker(vodka drink with jalapeños in it). My friend ordered the Golden Harbour(a tequila drink). When we got our drinks, neither of us was satisfied with what we ordered. The Kicker tasted like flowers, and the Harbour wasn’t what my friend expected either. We ended up switching the drinks, we each liked the other’s better but, not enough to drink more than half of them. Disappointment #1. After the amazing Shrimp Mac’n Cheese, we were really excited about our meals. I ordered the Philly Grilled Cheese, I mean, just by the name sounds like you are going to love it. My friend went for the Cuban-Americano, which is a pulled pork with blackforest ham sandwich. The idea was for her to eat half of mine and me half of hers well, neither of us even ate ¼ of our own. We were both disappointed with our own orders that didn’t even offer it to the other. The Philly Grilled Cheese was extremely greasy, to the point that 3 bites had me feeling nauseous. The flavors of the sandwich itself were really hard to detect because of the grease. After that I just drank water trying to cleanse my mouth and stomach. We both really liked the place itself. Comfortable, intimate, we liked the décor, and loved the outside seating, for when it’s not so hot outside. Service was good but, like I said, I’m torn, I loved our appetizer but, need to erase that sandwich experience out of my head and trust the reviews and experiences of others, and hope this was just a bad night for them before I visit them again. To me not entirely«A-OK» but, close to it. 2.75 rating until(hopefully) I’m proven otherwise next time.

I have to say that the food was pretty amazing on our visit. Our server was pretty knowledgeable of not only the food but also with drink pairings. Service was great overall. I also have to note that this is a late review… hope to go back soon and write an update. We had the following, –12oz Pork Chop: served with a red curry, ginger chutney. Cooked and seasoned very well, big enough portion to split. –Half Chicken: served with a Sherry wine pan sauce. Cooked and seasoned very well, big enough portion to share. –Baby Iceberg Wedge salad: bacon ranch, tomato, corn, blue cheese, chives –Dessert was a raspberry panna cotta with white chocolate, fresh raspberries, and chocolate. This dessert was Heavenly! And for my boyfriend that loves his raspberry and chocolate, he gave this a thumbs up. –Kicker cocktail: orange vodka, muddled jalapeño, lime, rocks. If you are looking for a spicy drink, this is the way to go! The drink definitely had a kick to it but not overbearing where you couldn’t enjoy it. We ended up getting to the restaurant a little late and by the time we were to our dessert, we were the only ones left and the staff/friends started congrugating at the bar area. Our server was still attentive but we felt a little. i guess you can say out of place. I don’t want to say rushed because we were not at all. But we can tell that it was closing time. So we ate our dessert and closed out our check. I guess the manager sensed that we felt a little out of place and was nice enough to apologize in the case we felt rushed and even offered to get our first drinks on our next visit. We told him that he really didn’t have to do that and we had a great experience. It was such a nice gesture and I can’t wait to go back to try other items on the menu. Great little hidden restaurant in Boca. Awesome service. delicious food!
