Tried this place for dinner tonight. They give you popcorn when you sit down and the flavor changes daily. I don’t really care for popcorn, but it was delicious! I ordered a blackberry mojito and it was delicious. My boyfriend wasn’t very hungry so we decided to order and appetizer and an entrée to share. He chose the rebel croquet for the appetizer and he really liked it. I felt like I was eating something that wasn’t edible and it was weird and I could barely swallow the bite I had. So, I was still super hungry. The appetizer came out really fast, but it took FOREVER for the entrée and they don’t give refills on popcorn so we just sat and waited. We ordered the beef duo, which for $ 32 you would think we could easily share. Wrong. It was the tiniest portion of food I’ve ever received. A heads up that you couldn’t possibly share it would have been nice. There were two extremely small pieces of beef and a couple veggies. I’m still hungry. After $ 32 I can’t order more food, nor should I have to. The food was incredible. Extremely delicious. But, for the price, I would rather just have«good» food that doesn’t leave me still hungry. I don’t eat much, which my boyfriend loves because he gets my left overs. But, I needed like two orders to even remotely be full. Very disappointing. Would not recommend to anyone.

Absinthe. They serve absinthe. Flavored pop corn while you wait for your food. Small plates to be shared. Order a lot because it’s all delicious. Service is casual and friendly.

Nice place for brunch the menu seems pretty seasonal. I made the mistake of setting my heart on an item from their online menu and when I got there it wasn’t on the menu anymore. They offered flavored popcorn to the table which was fun and different. Seating on the inside was nice and the weight staff were friendly. Though they miss served me cold coffee instead of ice tea. The chicharrones were nice and crispy but the sauce just tasted like honey instead of lychee chili with honey.

Pulled up to valet and was offered a $ 25 wash/wax and inside detail. I thought… why not?! We started off with drinks. I ordered a Pear syrup whiskey old fashioned with cinnamon. It was a little stronger than Midwest Old Fashions that I’m use to but added a little soda and it was perfect. We were offered the popcorn flavor of the night: Louisiana Sausage Popcorn, gratis. Then ordered an app starter, Tuna dip. Tasty came w/veggies carrots peppers cukes and celery and chibatta bread. Zeke was our server. He was quick and very efficient. Beer was ice cold. My husband ordered a Captain/Coke and son had a Lemonade that came in a mason jar which he devoured in 3 minutes so yeahhhh it was good. Entrees ordered: I had Lobster Spaghetti which had three different items on my plate accompanied by imported from Italy, homemade pasta. I love my pasta al dente but this almost seemed damn near crunchy. The lobster and crab was really good. Son had The burger. It was really good. It came with thin onion rings on top and spicy French fries. Husband had the steak trio, NY Strip, Beef braised ribs and maro? All which was cooked perfectly in a mole sauce. It was uniquely delicious. Everything came right on time and the atmosphere was really fun. I would love to come next to hang out for a couple drinks just to people watch and sample the specialty drink of the day. It’s loud but in a fun way. Ended the night stuffed Then jumped in to a spankin clean car! Great night.

I came to The Rebel House on a date last Thursday and I had a great experience. To start, I pulled up to the Rebel House in my car and I was pleasantly surprised to see they had free valet. So, instead of driving around the congested Boca area looking for a parking spot I simply left my keys to a friendly valet and walked right into The Rebel House. Upon walking in I was greeted by a female hostess and a friendly gentlemen who might have been the manager; can’t say for sure. We joked around a bit and they made me feel very welcome. Not to mention, they sort of effortlessly help reduce the tension between my date and I. This was unintentional, but the two employees were simply bursting with personality. My first impression of the venue was welcoming. A nice indoor seating area, a solid bar area with plenty of high chairs and an outdoor seating area with some heat lamps. An additional positive, is there are no windows closing off inside from out so, even if you’re sitting inside you get a taste of the outdoors too. I actually didn’t come to Rebel House too hungry so, I only ordered the Blue Fin Tuna Tasting Tataki. This came with pumpkin miso and white soy-ginger dressing as well as, spicy tartar with black rise crisps. It’s hard to identify all of those things on a Japanese inspired dish since I’m merely a Jew from Long Island, but the tataki was coated with pepper and quite tasty and the tartar was bursting with flavor. My date ordered the tortellini entrée and though I did not try any she absolutely devoured it. God I loved her. For dessert we ordered what is referred to as the coke head chocolate cake. It was a large piece of moist, rich and flavorful cake that was really enjoyable. Lastly and most importantly, the drink I ordered was absolutely excellent. I forget the name, but it was a fall-esque twist on an old fashioned that was accompanied with a massive, apple cider ice cube. In the end, I had a great time at Rebel House. From the service, to the food, to the welcoming venue, Rebel House kicks ass all around. 5 stars, no doubt.

Pickles served in a jar were good, followed by Octopuss sliced paper thin with some thinly sliced vegetables followed by pâté which I thought was amazing. Table mates had fried chicken with mac and cheese. I had pork dish with thinly sliced veggies and a bread /muffin which was delicious. The place has a very Miami vibe and hip types mixed with a few Boca people. Overall I highly recommend and I never do that. Kitchen is Chef driven and I think so. Great work kitchen staff. Also our waiter was really good Matt M.

I’ve been to The Rebel House no less than 10 times. The people leaving negative reviews are nothing short of pathological liars. The food at Rebel House is top quality. The atmosphere is electric. Talia’s nonsensical story about a washed up old geezer owner is laughable considering the owner is in his prime and owns multiple amazing places across palm beach county. The menus shift constantly with seasons and there’s never been a meal that wasn’t worth the 5 stars I’m delivering today. Their drink menu is unique and amazing as well. Anyone trashing this place has an ulterior motive or is just a bitter douche bag.

I dined here on Sunday… It’s now Wednesday. I’m late in reviewing Rebel House because I spent the last few days trying to regather my wits and cure my stomach from not only the food poisoning but also the alcohol poisoning I underwent. Thanks Rebel House for the double whammy! The food was inedible. In my honest opinion, Rebel House is a step under Denny’s with a liquor license. We filled up on pitchers of mimosas since all we could stomach were the diced sweet potatoes … because who can really ruin sweet potatoes, right? We should have ran straight out the door when the waiter started his speech with«the chef used to be renowned when he was younger…» Oh, so… he’s an old geezer trying to get his groove back? Sorry Sir, this is not your area of expertise. Although, Rebel House earns its only star due to the fact that the atmosphere is nothing less than lively — tables full of young working adults drunk out of their minds going wild every time«Happy Birthday» is sung! Rebel House should lose the entrees and just be a bar with snacks… like the popcorn they bring in the beginning is cute… and standard in taste, a perfect pairing for a beer.

We ate at The Rebel House last night for the first time. We sat outside which was nice because it was pretty packed inside. Had a great glass of house cabernet. We started with the Brussel sprouts — good for those who like Brussel sprouts, salt and pepper shrimp — delicious, rock shrimp tacos — delicious, and the avocado salad — delicious. We then ordered the burger — my Mom said it was the best burger she’s ever had, OG chicken — so good! !, farrotto — heard it was decent for a vegan option, and I got the blue fin tuna — totally adequate. It didn’t have a lot of flavor and just looked like it wasn’t quite put together well. Desserts were the cookie dough sundae — nothing special. It was basically two scoops of ice cream with three little balls of cookie dough and a sugar cookie crushed on top. The coca cola cake was delicious and the apple cider doughnut was too. Overall it was a cool place with very different food. Not sure if I’d go back but it was a good one time visit.

Food is great 9 times out of 10. I have been going there for a little over 3 years. The rebel service idea is pretty cool. two thumbs up for the service and food. I even love the atmosphere. I have been there for brunch about 30 times and Dinnner about 20. I like that they keep the menu fresh, and I can not recall any food ever being less than amazing! I have had every item on their brunch menu and then some. You guys rock! The only reason I am not giving it 5 total stars, is there is a large Hipster crowd sometimes, and it’s not my cup of tea, I am more of a real, down home, humble kind of guy. That is just my opinion, I am not God so who am i to judge. But the staff is awesome, esp. Chelsie. Keep it up guys, love this place.

Nope Noisy Mediocre Service Marginal gastro pub fare for sure — there’s not a great gastro pub in Boca — not the Goat and not here Craft cocktails go your way if you’re a bourbon person but come on — theres 7 base lines of booze, and your craft cocktails should reflect an equal distribution of all of them Pretentious hipster — if you go to other cities and you’re a foody and craft cocktail person, Ride On

The Rebel House is a cool spot located in Boca and open later than most places in the area. I went for a graduation party which was in a private room separated from their main dining room. The whole menu is very innovative and creative; offering new food pairings and hand crafted cocktails. Reading through it excited me and I struggled to order because I wanted everything. I went with the duck and chestnut dumplings and our table ordered various other appetizers. The«dumplings» were more like 2 large fried raviolis. I couldn’t really make out the flavor of duck or chestnut. The texture was hard and tough and it came in a pool of oil. My favorite part was the little, crispy fried things that were for decoration. The croque something-or-other with pork belly was good, but nowhere near Royal Pig level. The octopus crudo, however, was OUTOFTHISWORLD!!! Thinly sliced octopus atop a spicy mustard with thin slices of jalapeño and tomato… it was a fun, delicious dish. Rebel House has an awesome atmosphere. The waitress had no problem separating checks for 15 or so people, but she was going to bring out apps and mains at the same time until a hungry diner mentioned they wanted apps asap. Only one dish blew me away, the others were just OK or not good. Drinks are awesome. I would probably go back for the atmosphere or drinks, but I would be wary ordering a dish in fear of it being mediocre.

Brunch was great! I had the smokin hash which was short rib with roasted hash potatoes. It came with a side salad. The menu is very unique ranging from pork belly Benedict to crab cakes with corn and poblano peppers to charcuterie boards. They have an equally unique cocktail menu. The blood Mary’s come decked out with prosciutto, pickles and peppers. They also have an option for an upgraded Bloody Mary that comes with a plate of cured meats and cheeses. My favorite drink is the pressed watermelon with jalapeño and vodka. Every table receives a tub of popcorn when seated. The flavor of the popcorn changes frequently it can be bacon flavored, Parmesan, truffle etc. I was here once for dinner years ago. I don’t recall what we are but I do remember the food was good. I would definitely suggest rebel house. note: there’s construction going on next to the restaurant so they’re offering complimentary valet. And always make a reservation!

This is the kinda place that would be showcased on Diners, Drive ins and Dives! And I mean that in a good way. Think tattoo parlor meets 1950’s garage. Weird I know but just walk in and you’ll see what I mean. Food wise the crispy spicy tuna was great! My steak salad was amazing, feta, grape tomatoes, chick peas… great blend! The chili wasn’t my favorite but they get extra points for using shredded beef instead of ground. The Wagyu steak sandwich was delicious but to rich for my blood. A few bites was more than enough for me. And last but not least… the Jakarta margarita! Amazing!

What a seamless and perfect night we had thanks to everyone at the Rebel House! Michael C threw an amazing UYE for us all to enjoy and indulge in and it could not have been more of a success! Walking in we immediately saw«our section» that the staff ever so graciously put together for our large group. They had the whole left side of their restaurant set up for our group of 30! The tables were set with menus and water making for a quick start to the night! Adam, our server was absolutely fantastic! He came right over each time someone new came to sit with our group and made sure everyone was having a great time and did not need anything! A HUGE thank you to Adam! Also, Justin the Manager/Owner could not have made us feel anymore welcome! At the beginning of the night he came over to Michael C and let us know he was going to let us have Buy One Get One for Happy Hour including extending it for the ENTIRE night instead of their normal Happy Hour! We all screamed for joy at the sound of this! The PoPcOrN! Made fresh and complementary for all guest to enjoy and WOW the Sour Cream & Onion they had that night was delectable! We snacked on the popcorn while enjoying everyone’s company then later decided to order the Chicharrones and Local Wahoo«Poke»! The Local Wahoo Poke was unforgettable as the flavors combined in such a way that just melts in your mouth! I definitely recommend getting your hands on this dish! Everyone’s cocktails were coming out fast and strong! Just the way we like them! My favorite was the Bourbon Blues! They have a full bar and can make any kind of concoction you desire but take a look at their Cocktail List; it is definitely a good one! :) I can not say enough how impressed I was at the Rebel House for making our night soo great! Everything was flawless! With the team here this is truly a PERFECT establishment to have a small or large party at! All of the staff went above a beyond and even with so many people our checks came out correct! Everyone enjoyed themselves, we got to meet new people, and this will not be the last time we visit the outstanding RH! Thank you to Michael for throwing such a great UYE that will not be forgotten and sincere gratitude to ALL of the staff!

Thanks to Michael for putting together this UYE last night. If it didn’t happen, I probably wouldn’t have came here for dinner for another year or so: P I only have made it in for brunch, which is fantastic. Dinner was the same way. The cocktails and the menu items has something for everyone to choose from. A great time was had by all and it was filled with fun and laughter as well as great food and cocktails. The 2−4−1 happy hour was available to us and I stuck with pineapple mojitos. Four of them in and I was feeling alright at the end of the evening. The sour cream and onion flavored popcorn was offered and it was very addicting. Some from our group last night ordered appetizers and split them. My husband and I each got an appetizer and dinner and it was more than enough. The wagyu beef cheesesteak bites were so good and yummy. I had a bite of the Croque Rebel sandwich and it is out of this world. The mozzarella fritters were consumed by my husband and I didn’t have a bite. I was too busy enjoying the Rebel burger. It was topped with white American cheese, crispy onions, and Charm City sauce with a side of fries. The fries were a little greasy for me and one of my table mates Beth helped eat some of them. There was only one server for our group last night and I could see that Adam was taking it like a professional with over thirty people. I was surprised they didn’t have another server for our table since it’s a lot for one waiter to handle. There were times I was wondering where he was at to put in our order. Once it was in, the food was out in no time. The restaurant was nice enough to divide everyone up on their own separate checks. The staff didn’t rush us out of there and they kept our tables clean and glasses full. I can’t wait to check it out again!

What a difference three years makes! Back in 2012, I thought Kesha was a decent if vacuous artist. Back in 2012, Rebel House had just opened but now in 2015 those service bugaboo have been definitely worked out. I came by last night for Michael and Goldie C”s UYE with a great crowd of friends. Nancy M welcomed me as I recovered from drive up the Turnpike, and got me to our two tables. As she mentioned, Adam kept our service running smoothly, handled multiple checks and delivered my awesome burger(more in that later). The manager and hostess were also pleasant, checking how my dinner went and even helped me get the valet tip on my debit card. I started off with a much needed glass of house chardonnay, and let me tell you that it must have been a great vintage because it packed a punch! I munched on the house popcorn, and enjoyed their burrata salad. The cheese ball was pretty creamy, the jalapeños were Hawt, and the mango bits mixed in with the tomato(original I like!) gave the salad a sweet touch. That burger though, I think that was the first time I moaned about food(maybe I had been influenced by the conversation in our corner lol) but the messy burger with cheese, bacon and a flat top meaty patty with Charm City’s sauce(I’m a fan of their Chicken sandwich from another of my 561 jaunts) made it just about perfect. UYE are as much about the company and the food, and last night’s didn’t disappoint. Our group had two tables and whether the conversation was about our fur children with Marisol, Julie and Samantha, sports, or ummm other topics(no names!) It was a fun Thursday afternoon. Glad seeing my fellow Hialeahan Edwin drive up, taking our traditional selfie with Savannah, seeing Patty and Mr. Sandler, and of course Dom and the Wine Goddess. Thank you again Michael and Goldie!

The Rebel House had no idea what they were in for with our crazy group last night! This was my second visit here and was so excited to taste their awesome food. Our first visit we came for a wine dinner that they had in their back room. The wine dinner was fabulous, we really enjoyed it. This is when we met Justin, manager/owner, he gave us the tour of the kitchen, how they dry age meats etc… they are very passionate about quality and preparation of their food and cocktails. Justin is one of those guy’s who remembers you and your name. He is very hands on and what a great guy. He leads by example and expects his staff to follow. And this they do. Michael had his UYE here last night. Huge kudos to a job well done Michael. You picked the perfect spot. This restaurant is definitely a hot spot. What I noticed last night besides our group, the other patrons did not seem to be the typical Boca crowd. The restaurant got packed and no one seemed to mind our very loud crowd. We had two very long tables. Our amazing server Adam asked if we could just stay in the same seats for check purposes. Of course once the standing up and mingling started I am not quite sure how he kept it straight. Adam did such a wonderful job. He was super friendly, quick to get drinks, food, anything we needed. Then having separate checks for such a large group. They did such an incredible job making it look so effortless. 2 for 1 drinks including everything on their drink menu was offered all night for our group. Justin is smart, we stayed, we loved the impeccable service we were given and we all had such a great time. The food: I needed something since I started drinking quick so I started with fries. OMG, ok they looked so good others started to dig in before I could even try one. They come with truffle oil on them, very little which was perfect because they were not soggy at all. Then whatever sauce made for dipping was delicious. Of course like many others hubby ordered the tuna chop chop. He loved it. Julie was sitting next to me and she ordered the cheese steak sandwich and after she told me how good it was I had to order it. It was cheesy goodness. The thin layers of steak were seasoned perfectly, soft fresh bread and excellent cheese. They are cut into four pieces which makes it so easy to eat. It is all about superb quality here. Delicious and so happy I ordered it. What happens when you get a bunch of Unilocalers together… not only do we take pictures of every food dish and cocktail… it is none stop with pictures of everyone. And even Video’s…Nancy, LOL the lady is just to much fun. So many people were standing around and taking large group photos and it did not seem to bother the other patrons or staff. They allowed us to be ourselves, we had such a great time here. Huge thank you to Michael for setting this up, great work my sweet friend!!! Great turnout as well. Who could not adore Michael? And well truth be told a man is only a s great as the woman on his arm… my girl Goldie, thank you for always being so supportive and such an awesome trooper. Thank you again for such a fabulous time Rebel House! You outdid yourselves and you so deserve five stars all the way. Can’t wait to visit again and again… Hopefully more wine dinners. hint hint Justin. A perfect event is nothing without our fellow Unilocal friends, so many awesome people were here and I so enjoyed seeing last night. Sometime life gets crazy busy and we don’t see each other as often but we never have issues picking right up where we al left off. To many people to name but I heart you all!!!

Big thanks to Michael C. for putting together this UYE… honestly without it I probably wouldn’t have taken the time to check out The Rebel House, which would have been a huge mistake. DRINKS — Since I arrived in time for HH I was able to get 2−4−1 drinks. I started off with the Jakarta and then moved to The Bell of The Storm. The Jakarta was the perfect blend of tangy and sweet with the mango purée, and the Bell of The Storm had great smokiness combined with a hint of spice… truly difficult to say which was my winner! FOOD — Instead of bread, service starts off with popcorn, with a new flavor every day. That day’s — sour cream and onion and it was really addictive. For food, my father, Janice and I split a few appetizers — *Burrata — REALLYREALLYREALLYGOOD! Seriously, who would have thought the addition of mango would work so well here! *Tuna Chop Chop — also really good. Not a surprise that this seemed to be the most ordered item amongst the group. *Wahoo Poke — again, a third delicious option! *Chicharrones — sadly not my favorite, but I’m thinking I don’t actually like chicharrones lol. *Plantains — a nice small bite to start. *Rock Shrimp Tacos — since Janice has a real taco addiction I opted not to try and bite and give her more. She gave them the thumbs up. AMBIANCE — Justin, the manager, took the time out to really explain to me the theme behind The Rebel House. You, like me, maybe have immediately thought of Rebel House = biker bar, but Justin explained to me the respect for innovation and rebels of their time. It was also awesome to tour some of the kitchen area and see the amount of work, time and patience for preparing their dry aged meats for the charcuterie boards(really kicking myself for not ordering one now!), as well as see their private dining area which would be perfect for hosting your next party! SERVICE — This was a large group, probably 30+ of us at one time or another. Michael C. had called ahead of time and set up for us to get individual checks, which made paying at the end a breeze. Our server Adam was definitely overwhelmed with taking care of so many people, but we never waited long to place any orders and he was easy to find when needed. You’re probably used to tapas places by now, so food here comes out as it’s ready. Overall, it was a really great night with great people. Can’t wait to come and check out one of The Rebel House’s events or even brunch! PS — lots of parking in the back of the building!

This may be one of the best, most diverse culinary experiences I’ve ever had in South Florida, which was a pleasant surprise considering Rebel House is located in the land of geriatrics AKA Boca Raton, FL. My friend recommended RH since she knows I have a pretty adventurous palate. I was intrigued by the rotating menu and what seemed to be a very well-thought out array of items which used different ingredients which may not seem to go together in a way to please the tastebuds. We were thankfully able to snag a table on a busy Saturday and were greeted almost immediately by our server. That’s very important to me, since it shows attentiveness to customers. We started with the brussel sprouts and the foie gras. Both were excellent — the sprouts were glazed with a sweet, almost soy sauce flavor and were paired with peppers and different vegetables. The other veggies were not overpowering though — think radishes! The foie gras was really on point. It was paired with a currant sauce and these small pieces of toast. All three together were particularly enjoyable. Again, the flavor combinations here work incredibly well together. For our main course we decided to get the lamb and split it. The entrée came with a rack of lamb as well as regular lamb meat which was topped with cookies cherries. The cherries did not overpower the meat with too much sweetness so that was a great surprise. The rack of lamb was some of the most incredible lamb I have ever had. It was seasoned perfectly and melted in my mouth like butter. After so much gluttony we decided to top it all off with a cookie cake. This dessert was one of my favorites that I’ve had anywhere else. It had a couple of layers of chocolate cake with mousse filling, but the real winning layer was the bottom one which almost tasted like a cookies and cream Hershey’s bar. The ice cream scoop on the side was basically like eating a straight up Oreo. Seriously. The service was pretty good and friendly, especially considering the fact that this place was packed and we stayed for almost three hours. Would definitely recommend to anybody in the area.
