I’ve had much fresher tasting and quality tea than this place. Every tea tastes brewed at the wrong temperature or steeped for far too long. I really did want to purchase something there but I could get pass the over powering bitter taste. The tea ware and accessories are very cute though. But over priced. A tea set for a little over $ 100? I was very disappointed. Friendly staff and reasonable tea accessory prices was my reason for two stars.

A good friend of mind introduced me to this place the other day while exploring brooklyn. i fell in love quick lol. if you really love your tea and want a shop that has a wide variety, this is the place to be. the décor of the tea shop was very modern, clean and natural. the arrangement and organization of the the types of tea was very well arranged. there is also a table up front with little dishes of each tea that is sold so you may see the leaves, smell them and see the variation. there is also a tea sample station where you can try out a few of the teas that are available. don’t own a tea pot? no worries! they also sell tea accessories, cups, pots and mugs. i left only buying 3 variations of tea but i will definitely be back to try and buy the rest.

I was actually really excited before visiting this store last night. My friend went last week and raved about the friendly staff, sampling delicious teas including a pomegranate favorite, and the wide selection. I planned to purchase a gift and teas for myself, and even brought a friend to try some loose tea options and she was looking forward to shopping as well. We walked in all smiles, and was disappointed that the one staff person present didn’t even make eye contact until we had been in the small store for more than several minutes and didn’t offer to assist until I approached her. We were there for nearly 20 minutes and observed a second employee come out and greet other patrons, and he eventually ask if he could assist but quickly returned to helping others. Despite a great selection, customer service is important to me and I chose to take my business elsewhere. I’ll try my luck at the other location on Prince.

Very cute new tea shop feels right at home on Smith street(home to artisinal cheese, coffee, olive oil and now tea shops!) It’s expensive but makes a nice gift and I loved the displays.

Tea and chic live in perfect harmony here. Some of the teas are really amazing artisanal creations and the ones I sampled were wonderful. The only thing I did not like was the price, but I can understand why it is what it is.

This is one of my top favorite tea shops in the NYC area! They have the best and affordable mug sets ever!!! Would definitely recommend them and there are only two locations one on Prince St and this one just opened a few weeks new. Come check them out, you will fall in love with the stuff, promise. Nice girl and the boss in glasses, will help you in every way. Thank you very much for the pleasant experience and will come back soon for sure. Good luck!!! xoxo
