This place has really good sushi and good mochi ice cream dessert. I definitely recommend this place!

The sushi was good. But the service was lacking. They forgot one of our rolls, even though we only ordered 4 rolls and were the only customers in the place. Would have given more stars as I can overlook service issues if the food is good, but the place is a little pricey(dinner prices?), so my expectations are higher. Maybe it was just an off day…

We are a fun of Japanese food so we do eat a lot of it. We didn’t eat much when we were here but still feel, we ought to give a review. Ambience on this place was nice. Place was well designed and appealing. Food was good too but nothing to brag about. We had Godzilla and it was ok. A little skinny on the normal size of the roll. Spicy tuna was a little better than what we have tasted in the past. We also had the combo of steak, shrimp and salmon. Steak was ok, turned out medium well instead of medium that I asked for. Shrimp and salmon was frozen. Maybe it’s because they don’t sell much of it. We also got a 10% discount as a courtesy when I presented the ad on my cellphone but was advised for future reference, it should be printed(waste of ink and waste of tree). Mobile coupon will not be honored. With all the Japanese restaurants in the area, this is one of the few that is still around. Maybe, it’s because they have all you can eat for lunch. It would be 2 ½ stars but I gave 3 as our server was very nice and accommodating.

I give it 4 stars. :) it’s 20.00 per person for the AYCE menu. My BF talked me into it after looking at some reviews and I don’t regret it one bit. ^-^ The rolls were pretty good, some being better than others. We got rainbow roll(very good), crunchy roll(also good!), sweet potato roll(good), spicy kani roll(could have been better), volcano roll(didn’t like the cream cheese they used), tuna avocado(good), and the AAC roll(very freshening). The nigiri was just okay :(i was a little disappointed with the freshness of the fish. There was a little too much rice, however, it was well seasoned. :^) I always order green tea when possible and it was delicious. It’s served with a cute little steel pot. :) The miso soup wasn’t good. Period. But the other appetizers are great and they come out sizzling hot ^-^ The service was… meh… best way I could put it. The waitress was very quiet, to herself, and even walked away while we were talking to her… my party was as polite as possible but we couldn’t get a smile out of hee :[ however I still tipped her well as she was veey timely with our food and refills. :^) and everyone has bad days. I get :0

We have been there twice during the lunch hour-all you can eat sushi for $ 20. A great price. I was happy with the service, she may not give recommendations or hold a type of greet full conversation but she is polite, quick and was attentive to our drinks. Never once did we have to ask for a refill. I love trying the different appetizers and the rolls. It’s a little small but we have been seated right away during lunch hour. Clean and nice décor. The one improvement I would like is to have a bigger menu.

Smaller menu but all the food is great! Sushi is about a 7⁄10 and the rest of the food I would say is about a 8.5−9÷10 There’s a shorter, younger waitress who is never nice whenever I go there and it’s frustrating when she waits me but there’s another waitress who’s taller and she’s awesome!

I tried this place because I found it on Unilocal.I’ve eaten here a handful of times for dinner and I really like it. I’ve never had to wait long, everyone is always nice, décor is modern, food is good. I usually always get the godzilla roll and then try a few different rolls, but the godzilla is my favorite. So far in my 2 years of living in the area this is my favorite sushi place.

Sushi was really good and had a different presentation, which was nice! Minus one star because I had never been there before and the waitress was not very helpful navigating the menu and I did feel kind of rushed. It was during the week at lunch, not very busy at all either. I would go back again though for the food!

My relationship with Ko Sushi is «It’s Complicated.» On one hand, there are items on the menu I really like: their baked scallop appetizer is amazing. The Red Dragon roll is delicious. I found the Ko House roll really interesting. Both of these rolls had interesting plays on texture, were easy to eat, visually pretty. There was enough heat to enhance the flavor but it never overpowered the fish — which had a good texture and good flavor on its own. On the other, the Sweet Heart roll was the single most unappetizing sushi roll that I’ve ever had in my life. It’s the embodiment of everything that, for me, is «bad sushi.» It was poorly arranged(visually pretty, yes, but no real wrapper) which made it hard to eat. I wish I hadn’t bothered making the effort, because I found it suspiciously fishy in the way that low quality crab or lobster often is. The flavors fell flat, the texture was one-note, and the overwhelming fishiness was enough for me to only eat one piece. My party and I were the only people in the restaurant. We had very slow service. We actually got up with our check because no one was checking in on us. Were we supposed to? Maybe? Maybe not? Our server was largely absent. Overall, I’ll probably give Ko’s another try. It’s close and convenient. The rolls are creative, and the presentation was pretty and inviting. But«it’s complicated» and I’m a little leery of trying something with crab or lobster in it again.

Went there but missed the lunch bento box by 30 minutes and the server would not budge. I was annoyed and irritated but when my food came, it made up for it. Wonderful fresh food. I had miso soup, salad, a mixed tempura appetizer, sushi, and a curry dish. Everything was fabulous and I can’t wait to go back! The place was well designed and clean, the bathrooms could use some help though!

Disappointed! Ordered Yaka Udon w/vegetables and it was not cooked well at all. The noodles were soggy, not tasteful, and the vegetables were basically raw. Upon letting the server know she came back with a response from the manager. The OWNER stated that the best she could was offer 15 percent off. Why would I pay for a dish that wasn’t satisfying at all? It was very insulting to even offer that. I told the server that I will pay for everything but that dish! We ordered sushi rolls, crab Rangoon, and even steak! So I’m very insulted! The last time I was here I didn’t receive such poor service. The server removed the dish from my receipt and do you think the owner said anything ?? No. Note taken.

Everything tastes great it all looks great too but when you see not every light working it shows their true eye of detail lacks a bit if they try harder this could be a 5 star place

We love going to their lunch buffets. Sushi is good but the rest of the entrees in their menu needs polishing. The staff is great except for a young asian server who is a bit on the lazy side. She would rather focus on her phone than do her job and the other male employee tries to cover all the tables. It came to a point we stood up to hand over our orders personally and asked for a pitcher of water to refill our glasses and handed it over to the next table so they could refill their glasses too.

First time diner at this place. I’ve heard good things about their sushi so we decided to try it. The restaurant is small and long. The flooring is terrible! I slipped and saw several others do the same. I was waiting for an accident to happen. The service was confusing as a few different girls waited on us, so we didn’t have a dedicated server. The service was attentive, though. We ordered three sushi rolls, two regular maki and one specialty roll. The yellowtail/scallion and the unagi(eel) rolls had large pieces of fish and were good. The specialty roll we ordered was Ko’s House Roll. It was a very huge roll and impossible to eat in one bite, but full of flavor. Very good. One of the servers gave us complimentary mochi after our meal, which was a very nice touch and a great way to end the meal. Ko’s menu had a good variety of raw and cooked sushi and other Asian meals, like soups and noodles. I will definitely go back to try other sushi offerings.

Stopped in for luncg. Nice inside. Very tasty miso and really liked the salad dressing. Vegetables were crisp tender with just a slight char for flavor. Nicely seasoned without any heavy sauce. Sushi was very good as well, nice sized pieces. A better place to go for lunch or dinner than those standbys on Weber road. Then you can stop by Best Buy for your favorite c.d. that’s out!

I am giving this four stars because I really do think this is the best quality sushi in the area. The lunch can specials are decent and you can also come here for $ 19.99AYCE sushi. However, this is another establishment where service is just not where it should be. Sometimes you luck out and get the waitress that speaks to you, is attentive, and is generally great at her job. Sometimes you don’t. Prepare to spend much more time here than you think it should actually take to eat lunch. Even when this place is empty it can be quite slow. It can also be quite disappointing when you come for one specific item(I’m looking at you, uni!) and it’s not available. If you’re not in a hurry, I would still say to give this place a try.

KO Sushi is amazing! I’m so happy that there is an amazing sushi spot by the house. Anything and everything you order here will be beyond expectations –I PROMISE! Sushi is a pretty price but am ecstatic lunch specials are very affordable! My go-to dinner order is: Chicken Katsu Pad Thai Sweet Potato Roll Boston Roll Spider Roll (A random special roll) I guess the only negative is that the miso soup is lacking a bit of the fillings. But everything else makes up for it!

I’ve only been once, but enjoyed Ko. I had the all you can eat lunch, which for $ 19.99 was a good deal-if I’d ordered off the menu I would have likely spent that much, but wouldn’t have been able to try all of the different items. Rolls(Dragon, Shrimp Crunch and particularly the Spicy Tuna) were good and the sashimi was decent-could have been a little cooler than room temperature. Avocado salad was good and the crab Rangoon and shumai were as well. It’s not a large place, but that’s fine, and it appeared clean and the service was good-everything came out pretty quickly(take a hint, Sushi City!). I’ll return for sure and will be more adventurous with actual sushi and sashimi choices next time since I stuck with some basics for my first visit.

My new absolute fav sushi restaurant! The waitresses are the worse possible, very rude and took forever to take our order but the food made up for it completely! We got the edemame, the Godzilla roll, the mermaid roll and the sweetheart roll, every one of them were amazing, rolls were not to big for your mouth, and easy to pick up. They also sent us a completely dish that was very good aswell. It’s very pretty in there, and smaller which is nice, I will defiantly be coming back often! It’s do hard to find a great sushi place, blue ginger was my fav till it closed down so I’m happy to of found KO Sushi! Great fir a date, and price is not bad at all, wonderful plating too! I can’t say enough good things about this place! Yay :-D
