Went there to simply get a pair of fashion glasses and had a great and affordable experience. They have glasses for every budget! I was looking for the last expensive pair, but still fashionable. The gentleman that assisted me found the right ones for me, and he didn’t make me feel uncomfortable for being so cheap. Lol. I went to pick up my glasses a couple days later and was greeted with a huge smile by him and a lady. The lady assisted me and made sure that the glasses fit my face perfectly. I’m taking my husband there for a vision exam(he actually needs glasses), and expect to receive the same 5 star service.

7 months after this episode, I received a threatening bill in the mail demanding almost $ 100 more money(«You must be paid in 30 days or will be sent to the Collections department & legal Department for this delinquent»). I went right over there and had to argue with them for about 30 minutes: Apparently they tried billing me again for 4 boxes of contacts when I had only ordered 2 from them and had paid back in March(and am sorry I ever did), but finally after I went line-by-line and explained that the charges, descriptions, and dates didn’t add up, the district manager who was there had them look in the system and conceded that I was in fact correct, and apologized for wasting my time after I made them print the statement indicating there was no balance due. Interestingly enough, the date listed for this new charge was a couple days after I ordered additional contact lenses from another vendor, and I highly suspect there is a correlation. It is important to note that I had not been to Pearle Vision since the March incident. Needless to say, I am never going to these extortionists again. I’m just glad they finally admitted to their wrongdoing so I didn’t have to involve the Federal Trade Commission and Better Business Bureau.

I will never go to this location ever again. Last year when myself and my sons went for vision checks the optometrist made rude and inappropriate comments to my children. They also did not tell me about the selection of special priced eyewear through my Davis vision. NEVER again will I go to this location.

I had an amazing experience with Pearle Vision Bolingbrook, as I always have. Dr. Berry was great as he has been for years. The whole staff was very nice and helpful, I believe one guy’s name was Alex, but the really amazing part of the visit was Cristina… not only did she walk me through getting the most value out of my insurance, but she provided that crucial final decision on what frames I should choose when I narrowed down my selection to a final pair. I had been given dilating eyedrops and was pretty disoriented, but she was patient and friendly and I can’t say enough positives about my experience and final impression, but I will… you should definitely see these fine people when you need to get your eyes checked and need eyeglasses and/or contact lenses… and be sure to ask for Cristina! She even mailed me my receipt after my bill was finalized, and I received my contact lenses very quickly, only a couple days. I haven’t picked up my glasses as of yet, but I’m sure I’ll be very pleased when I do. I’ve been going here for years, and this is my best experience yet.

Worst Place I have ever been! Staff is incompent and the Owner is a mess… I believe his name is Rory. Selection was ok, and the Dr. was great… will not return and will let others know to steer clear.

Went to purchase progressive lens for my dad and left with a bad impression. Our consultant, Christina, and the optometrist was very helpful and patient, HOWEVER the store manager today was rushing us out of the store b/c they closed at 4pm and we wanted to make sure everything on our bill was accurate before we made a payment. He talked down to us as if we were incompetent since we questioned a charge. Through he was correct, his tone was demeaning and made us feel under appreciated for spending $ 400 at this store. I expected more from a store manager.

I rarely write reviews and I am actually going out of my way to review this company. After reading all the bad reviews I could not believe how different of a experience I had. They were all great especially Dr. Barry, Glenn, and the owner Rory. To start the owner is so nice. I am a veteran and not many vision places give a military discount. They offer a military discount on eye exams and I believe it was 20%. That’s just amazing! Next I had found the contacts I was prescribe for a cheaper price and the owner Rory price matched them. He even offered to price match any frame as well! They are not picky about where the price match is as long as it is not a sketchy company. Glenn pulled up the website in the store and showed Rory and without a hesitation he matched the price. I seriously do not have one bad thing to say. There was also a really nice young women that worked there that was extremely friendly as well. Rory also has a pretty cool collection of eyeglasses that are from famous people on his wall inside the store. It seems after reading the reviews from before they really improved there store and attitudes! Great job keep up the good work!

I went to this location and had an extremely unsettling experience. The staff at this location is extremely unprofessional, unfriendly, and unhelpful. When I was getting my eyes examined by the Dr., he was very rude and cracking jokes about my financial situation and what not. When I went to go pay for my glasses that were well over $ 500 dollars, I wasn’t given them, and then once I did receive them from the unhelpful and completely oblivious salesman, he didn’t ask if I needed adjustments or if there were any issues, I was just handed the cases and sent on my merry way with a here. I would AVOID this location at all costs unless you like being treated like just a number and taunted. Oh, and did I say this location is unprofessional? For having next to hardly any customers coming in, they are extremely, extremely slow. Having to wait over 10 minutes for service, when I am the only customer in the store? Come on now! And half of the employees look like they’re strung out on rocks because of they’re half glazed expression. AVOIDTHISLOCATIONATALLCOSTS!!!
