The food was mostly good, but service was really slow. Took the waitress 45 minutes to take our order. Complaining to the owner got us nowhere but rudeness. No apology for the slow service. Then the waitress came out and yelled at us. Our bill was wrong for several orders. Don’t ask for an extra order of bread. It will cost you $ 6! Will never go back.

Happy hr was great and $ 19.00 for an Appetizer that everyone filled my wife and I was absolutely fantastic I’m glad and a little bit of everything on it if I could give this a 10 star I would enjoy

Appetizers were delicious and daring different. We tried smoked mackeral, salmon carpaccio and Ahi Tuna. Picked a great wine to accompany our selections. The main course’s were cooked to perfection with a hearty selection of veggies. The night was finished off with a yummy Crème Brulee. A neat vibe here at C Level.

Great ambiance. Not a huge wine list, but had my favorites! Shared a cheese plate. Wonderful cheeses with yummy garlic bread. Drank a bottle of silver oak, Alexander valley. 30% off during happy hour. The dinner menu looked good but we had dinner reservations so just popped in for some pre dinner wine and cheese. We’ll be back for dinner.

Terrible service — had to ask to be seated, had to ask for a menu to order drinks, had to flag down someone to put in order, then it took ½ hour to get food — soup, ceviche, caesar salad and caprese salad — shouldn’t have taken that long — they weren’t even busy. Would definitely not return — seemed like they could care less if we dined there or not. Plenty of other places want our business. Didn’t even have a very extensive wine list considering it was a «wine» bistro.

This is a great local gem. The food is great and the staff is very friendly. The owner is present most nights and is very inviting. The atmosphere is very enjoyable as well. A great selection of wine is available as well. For dessert I recommend the chocolate lava cake. It is to die for. Overall I enjoyed our visit and would definitely return.

We booked reservations two weeks prior and they seated us outside next to the door. Tragic sounds were horrible. They didn’t want to split our salads. Didn’t get water or offer bread. Would not go back. Too many other good resturants around.

Boring details, below for anyone interested, but suffice it to say that it would behoove the perspective diner to read all the 1,2 and 3 star reviews, as they are a better reflection of this restaurant. We had 8pm rez for 8 people on a Saturday night. We arrived at 750 but weren’t seated until 850, upon which time we ordered. We weren’t served until 1010. I ordered the grouper, which was undercooked, rubbery and raw. I sent it back and declined a replacement. My fiancé hd the surf and turf; the scallops were also undercooked, and her med rare fillet was med well… she was so hungry that she ate it without complaint. None of our waters were ever refilled. The manager/owner was sitting a couple tables away from us the whole time, but never came by to «touch» the table, even after plates went back; he was talking to a friend. He did come over initially when we were waiting for the table, apologized, and offered everyone a free drink while we waited. It ended up being 2 bottles of wine(8 people), but only 1 was comped. The also didn’t initially take the grouper I sent back off the bill. I will say that the wine was good, as was the caprese salad. Someone had the French onion which she said was the best she ever had. In my opinion though, far too many misses in service and execution to justify te prices or even going there. Of course, none of this was likely the server’s fault, but she never came over to check on us before the meals arrived, or after they did either. We asked her if the late service was typical, and she said usually it takes 30−40min longer to get the meals out! Think about that. It usually takes 90 – 120 minutes to get your dinner. Maybe they had an «off night,» but I’m not too sure about that with the typically longer waits the server described. The sad part is that this place was recommended by the concierge at a nice gulf side hotel, and we told them that when we were seated… but it didn’t make any difference in the service.

August 30, 2014 We were searching for a place we’ve never been to before and we found this place, C-Level, on Unilocal.So here we go. We don’t avoid places priced at $$$ but we don’t go to these places often. Since it’s been awhile since our last $$$ joint, we gave C-Level a try. We were greeted almost immediately at the door by staff who genuinely welcomed us in. That quickly, the owner was greeting us and confirmed with us that we had no reservation which we did not. But no worries, a table was opening almost immediately and we were seated there. Looking around, we were taken with the modern contemporary but not over the top décor. We were at a Deuce High Top in the bar area and that was ideal. The place is not very large but the tables filled quickly and then the bar area. Since we were near the door, we could determine that the majority of the diners were regulars. A good sign. Tapas, salad and entres. I had the French Onion soup and the scallops entres. My date had the steak salad tapas thing. Both excellent. Service was prompt. Meaning, once we were seated, the staff was on us fast. We were not hustled through dinner. It appears this place encourages you to linger as our food service was not too quick. This was fine with us but I wonder if this is their MO? Food quality first rate, hot, exactly correct. Beautiful presentation with a small fresh flower on the plates. Five stars would have been awarded had the red wine been served at proper temperature, 50°-55° not closer to the 85° that our red was served. Come on you upscale Restauranteurs, get the temps of the red wine at the proper level. You’re ruining the wine! Dang people. The Anheuser-Busch sales people check beer cooler temps and beer temps and if it is not right, they get it right. If this much care goes into a $ 3 – 4 bottle of beer, you should be doing this with a $ 12 glass of wine or a $ 40 bottle. Get this right and you’ll sell more wine. This is not hard people! Geez. Atmosphere — Excellent Service — Excellent Food quality — Excellent Wine selection — Excellent Wine Temperature — Fail!

This was an amazing find. We were in Bonita for the night and found this gem. We met the owner and were treated like royalty. The food was prepared to perfection and the service was impeccable. I am a lamb snob and it exceeded my expectation. The ambiance was perfect. The desert was spectacular. Everything is made fresh in house daily. Even though it’s 1 ½ hours away we will make the trip back before tourist season is here.

We had dinner there tonight. We had reservations at 7:30 and were not seated until 8. They ended up comping a bottle of house white for this I believe. The menu is good but the execution not so good. The duck was average. I ordered the mussels. The broth was flavorless. Halfway through the mussels, I found they were not opened and were cold. They were not cooked. It had taken about an hour to get these entrees. When I told the servers that the mussels were bad they took them away but there was no follow up by anyone and I was still charged for them. Then on another note, the wine we wanted to order, they were out of. So, lousy service, poor food etc, stay away.

We had a great experience here last year when fortunately for us the British owner was not there. This year he was and his arrogant and pompous attitude not only failed to impress but will mean that we will certainly never return There are many great options around and no matter how good the food customer service and making people feel special and welcome always wins the day. This guy has no clue on either counts. Sad!!!
