Oh, so sad — Dona Flor has closed? I loved going to this adorable little French pottery shop when I visited Boston — my favorite shop in the Back Bay.

Yes, a wonderful tradition to visit Dona Flor while in Boston for work or pleasure was mine as well for 15+ years. On my last visit, the lovely owner told me she was planning on retiring the store soon … alas, it seems to have happened. Thank you Dona Flor for all of your years of providing elegant and creative treasures. You were one of a kind.

My favorite store in Boston. I’ve heard that it is now closed. I hope this is misinformation and that perhaps Dona Flor has changed locations. So sad. We used to fly in to Boston just to go to this lovely store.

The best kept secret in Back Bay Boston… bought all my plates, cookware, wine glasses, french baking dishes, kitchen serving plates and platters and that was just for MY house… I stop in for gifts for friends, neighbors or anyone who I think appreciates the best !!! wonderful hand made artisian serving sets, fantastic french soaps and the very best the south of france has to offer! and all in one little shop! here in Boston!

Lovely mix of home décor with varying price points. I snagged a gorgeous & fabulously scented candle for $ 15! I had my eye on lots of items, but alas can only take so many things home from my visit to Boston.

GORGEOUS French and Italian ceramic pottery. This stuff is so beautiful, I plan a lay-over in Boston every time I fly that direction. Dona and Kenny are just great too. HIGHLY Recommended.
