Bubble Teas are really good! But food is overpriced and portions are small.

Hmm. 2⁄2 times I’ve come here and had a drink, my stomach has felt weird afterwards. First time I had an alcoholic boba and this time I had the normal boba. Perhaps it’s a coincidence because I don’t really see other reviews commenting on this. But having the normal boba this time around, it wasn’t to my liking. I got the Assam milk black tea. I personally like boba more on the milky side and this seemed a bit heavier on the tea side. The boba was a tad too mushy for my taste too. I do give them props for their service though cause of the times I’ve been here, the waiters/waitresses have generally been pretty attentive and welcoming. I also really enjoy the ambience and interior decorations as everything is organized and clean. Overall, this place isn’t really my kind of thing so I would just rather go to a normal boba place.

5 starts for the restaurant environment. 5 starts for the food and drink. I had yogurt soju which is so amazing.

Wow the food and drinks were ABSOLUTELYWONDERFUL. My friend and I were so shocked by how much we loved everything here! He got the grapefruit boba while I got the classic black tea one(super good) The baos were super fluffy and THESAUCE they put inside was sooooo delicious and they came with fries! We loved the pits dip with the eggplant and egg. That was super hearty and delicious. So glad we tried it :) DEFINITELYCOMINGBACK! Such a cute place :)

I like the concept of this bar, I never really thought about spiking my tea with liquor(I usually stick with boba as the added bonus in my tea). However, I was happy to find out that I could stick with my regular non-alcoholic dose. It’s more expensive on the $ 5 side for a non-alcoholic drink and $ 9-$ 11 for a spiked tea, but it’s a pretty decent size you can take to-go if you wish. I recommend trying the tea with strawberry or mango pop(if you eat froyo, it’s the bubbles you get that easily pop in your mouth). The layout of the floor is cozy and hip. It’s the type of place that’s cool all year round, and FYI, you can do hot and cold drinks in case you’re going in the winter.

InThis is quite a great place to try. Why? I Sense so much creativity from this place and it comes together so well. Food: I heard about it and its a fusion between asian and middle eastern? incredible, these guys must worked long and hard to put those different kinds of culture together and it works out great. Their fried popcorn chicken was spicy in a asian and middle eastern way, different and it comes together great with the white yogurt sauce that comes with it. They also have a plate of nachos with some spicy corn and unique middle eastern ingredients. But I’m not a huge fan of their fries, really bland that needs to be a bit crispy and their toppings didn’t really help. Drinks: Definitely something new that everyone should try. Only problem, alcohol seems just a little weak to me. But then again, for an atmosphere like this, probably not the place to have wasted customers stumbling across the restaurant and forget what he’s doing. So im in between the alcohol content to be just right or maybe a little more. Service: Always great, everyone here is really nice and happy to serve us. They deserve 20% tip all the time Price: I personally think its a bit expensive. Probably only worth it if you’re with a lot of people sharing nachos, fries, and chicken nugget platters. The wraps and other individual dishes seems to be so overpriced but perhaps the ingredients were finely picked and all. So as much as I can see prices are high, I can see that a lot of thought was put together to come up with asian/middle eastern fusion food. Alcohol as well, but the more people you’re with, the better price it will be altogether, so this place is definitely meant for big big groups.

Interesting place! I heard that the owners come from a variety of cultures, which explains the variety of food & drinks that you’ll find here, many of which you’ll never see anywhere else, which is what I like about it. I loved the alcoholic bubble teas — I could drink the Assam milk tea every day with honey boba(not that I should!). They also have board games that you can play. I came here on a Thursday after work and it was pretty much empty except for us — quiet and freezing cold, but once you start eating and drinking, you don’t even notice. The décor is super modern. Service was great. I’d come back here again purely for the drinks!

Spent the entire day at Limoo today with a friend getting work done. I didn’t expect it to be particularly crowded because it was a Sunday, but when I walked in it was completely empty. Which isn’t a bad thing, since it meant a quiet space for me to crank out a term paper! Being one of the only two customers in the restaurant for quite some time, my friend and I were given a lot attention from Limoo’s staff, who were incredibly helpful with the menu items. We started out with«normal» boba before moving on to the restaurant’s signature boozy drinks(coconut milk with whiskey black tea — really good!) later on in the day, when we needed a little bit of writing inspiration. Overall, it’s a pretty cool place to meet friends or colleagues for work(I would recommend coming here in the daytime for this) or for a unique drinking experience on weeknights or weekends.

Love this place! Totally overpriced, but they just happen to combine several of my favorite foods that no restaurant in their right mind would serve together: Shawarma…check Bubble tea… check Truffle fries… check Steamed bun sandwiches(bao)…check Makes no sense but it works for me. Execution is perfectly good. The bao are truly awesome(super soft bun, juicy chicken … ask for jalapeños on the inside). Best of all, they say the chicken is halal.

Walked in today to pick up some tea after stopping by the BU undergrad campus. I ordered my favorite drink strawberry jasmine green tea. A bit pricier than other tea places but it was really tasty and a good portion. Limoo is definitely one better places I’ve tried in the Boston area. It wasn’t overly sweet and they use real fruits! Also, the place itself can be a bit intimidating intially(since it also doubles as a sit down restaurant) but it’s actually a great place to study/chill. Ended up staying there for a couple hours to do some work. Free wi-fi and outlets too(always a plus). I’ll definitely be back to check out their fusion asian mediterranean concept.

No bubble tea place has ever impressed me to this extent. I’ll start with the very few cons. I must say the regular bubble tea was a bit pricey and there were no seats for the bar while waiting for the table, but those are only a few exceptions to what this wonderful place has to offer! A little bit of context: My cousin had just arrived in NYC and was starving so we were initially headed to another bubble tea place. Then, I mentioned the idea of spiked bubble tea, so we decided to go. I have never tried it, neither did my other friend who was with us. This was more of a pit stop to our plans and turned into one of my best experiences at a Boston restaurant/bar. On to the décor: The first thing we were admiring about this place was the setup. We loved the idea of the formal tables on the first floor and up one flight of stairs are more«chill» tables for games such as Jenga and Yahtzee, which could potentially get noisy. MOSTIMPORTANTLY, the chalk designs of the walls were BEAUTIFUL. The waiter described how they were hand-drawn and done to demonstrate this idea of openness; the décor was of different landmarks and cities around the world. Being that they are a fusion restaurant, it makes complete sense. On to the food: SOGOOD. We decided on the truffle fries with a side of hummus(L, $ 10) and an order of their Korean Fried Chicken($ 10). We did wait a little, but when it came out, our stomachs were happy. The portions were big enough for the three of us. On to the drinks: This is what we really came for. We decided on Taro spiked tea with whiskey and irish cream, Matcha milk tea, spiked, with lychee jelly, and finally a regular Yogurt Soju to share. This was a lot of alcohol for the 3 of us. The regular soju turned out to be a total of about 10-ish, candy tasting shots. SODELICIOUS. On to the service: Our waiter was the best. I wish I could give him a personal shoutout, but I never got his name. Hope to see a derivative of this in NYC though. This is definitely a place I’ll visit if and when I move back!

It sounds awesome, alcohol and bubble tea. But for some reason I just can’t get on board with this concept. I tried the green tea matcha bubble tea with Irish crème liquor and honestly I would have preferred just to drink the bubble tea alone without the booze. But then what am I paying$ 9 for? Also, it is insanely loud. I don’t think I’m that old/lame, but it was uncomfortably loud for the upstairs seating

Not bad. I did not try their alcoholic drinks, so I’m not sure what that tastes like. I also did not try the milk bubble tea. So I can’t comment on that either. I tried the fresh fruit bubble tea — strawberry! It was good, more heavy on the tea side. The strawberry was a little bland, I didn’t feel like it had a strong flavoring to it. I think the grapefruit was stronger and more fragrant. I loved that there was fresh fruit in it and the boba was good. I’d like to come back to try their milk tea and alcoholic drinks. Overall I think this place is okay? I still am in love with Chatime. so I don’t know if this will replace it. But I’ll know where to go if I want a refreshing tea if I’m in the area! A friend tried their hummus and pita bread and said it was really good!(it’s in my picture)

Nice décor. Friendly staff. Interesting concept. The mirza was tasty, everything else(basil chicken, corn) was ok, average. Steak montao was a little messy, and the steak a little tough to be in a soft bao. The alcoholic Grapefruit green tea was a little watered down. Not too strong but ok for me since I’m lightweight anyway. Would have liked more fruit flavor.

3.5 stars. Hip joint with a good variety of food options on top of their bubble tea. I think their prices are pretty up there for what you get. The bubble tea was indeed yummy, but the amount of ice in the mason jars is insane. The second time I came around, I asked for less ice, but the mason jar it came in was nearly two times smaller than the original. I actually think you get more bubble tea with the regular amount of ice in the larger mason jar. I was so disappointed to learn this fact. I must commend them on the authentic taste of the tea and texture of the boba though. I love the froth at the top! I usually order milk tea, but it’s rather inconsistent. Sometimes, it tastes more rich than other times. My favorite has got to be the Taro! Soju is as expected, but I find it rather expensive as it is not too strong. As a result, I just come here for bubble tea. Service was fantastic, but I have problems with the food: I’ve tried the Korean Fried Chicken, Truffle Fries, Basil Chili Popcorn Chicken, and schwarma. I found the portions to be very small, and the food to be just so-so. — The Korean Fried Chicken has got to be my favorite appetizer here. While yummy, they are quite pricey at $ 12 for ten wings! — I personally do not recommend the Truffle Fries. They were neither crispy nor flavorful — they tasted like plain fries! The hummus is plain too — I didn’t taste any garlic or anything? — The Basil Chili Popcorn Chicken is kind of like Taiwanese fried chicken. Crispy outside, tender inside. This appetizer was WAY spicer than expected. I drank glass after glass of water! It was hard to enjoy the chicken for that reason, and this is coming from someone who eats TONS of spicy food. — Though the schwarmas come with a handful of fries, the portions were smaller than expected. I would still be hungry if I only had this!

The vibe is chill and relaxing, more like a lounge than your typical bubble tea place. I ordered the matcha milk bubble tea mixed with whiskey — the alcohol flavor isnt too strong at the first sip but you’ll feel tipsy afterwards. Food is good too — we ordered the truffle fries which tastes soooo good; it comes with a yogurt cheese sauce and some steak pieces sprinkled in between.

I love their unique drinks here! They blend their drinks with fresh fruits, rather than adding a bunch of sugar and fructose and who knows what else! The food here is also delicious! It’s interesting how they serve Asian drinks but Mediterranean food. I think this place would make a good hangout spot, especially for all those BU students. This place specialize in spiking your beverages with alcohol, so drink away! ;) If you don’t know what to get, just ask the servers! They gave great recommendations! The manager(s) also seem to float around and chat with customers and they’re super friendly. I’ll definitely be back!

This place is honestly a dream come true. Boba? ANDALCOHOL?! Wait and food too?! Doesn’t get better than this! I love their assortment of teas, for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The atmosphere is aesthetic and fun. I love how they have games such as Jenga and Uno. The servers are upbeat and enjoy their job. However, one thing I’m not a fan of is their boba/pearls. Get any topping BUT their boba. Overall, this place is a hidden gem that I hope more people will come to and I know people will love. I definitely recommend this place :)

Excuse me, what? Did you just say bubble tea and alcohol hooked up? Yes, I did! I think Limoo has just pushed MD aside. At the very least, I wasn’t going to be turned away at Limoo if only drinks were ordered. Plus, it’s very spacious at Limoo with 2 levels of seating. The music wasn’t loud, so we didn’t have to yell at each other to be heard. The flavored teas were definitely refreshing and the alcohol taste was barely noticeable. We customized ours by adding mango pop or lychee jelly. The extra ingredients made drinking them more fun. We had loaded fries and popcorn chicken as our munchies. The fries were good, but the chicken was heavily covered in batter and the meat was barely there. We had a second round of drinks and got the yogurt soju. That was delicious as well. This is definitely a good place to pre-game, hang out and play games(ie. Jenga) with friends.

It’s time I finally wrote a review for this place. It’s a damn shame that people’s comments about Limoo being«overpriced» kept me away last year, but I finally came on the soft opening night on May 4th. I. Was. Blown. Away. When it comes to good food, I can be considered a addict and substance-ABUSER. The last time this happened when I was a college kid and Anna’s Taqueria opened on our campus, and I ate a super burrito every single day. To get me to do that now, the food has to be delicious, affordable, and I have to enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant. To this date, in exactly two weeks, I’ve come here a total of 9 times. 1. The décor is amazing! Custom hand-painted drawings on the walls. Sturdy, bolted down solid wooden tables, with candles and real baby cactus plants on each table. The mood lighting is incredible and there are games like Jenga and dice to play with. 2. The FOODISOUTSTANDING! I’m reading the reviews below, and I’m sure there are some kinks to iron out, like serving fried chicken in a smaller container. But really, who can blame them for not having boxes in every portion size imaginable? It’s Opening-Fucking-Week! The chicken is an incredible and delicious deal. The bao sandwiches, which I tried this week, are succulent and flavorful; I recommend the hamburger! The drinks are cheap and plentiful, at $ 5 for a fat mason jar full. The DRINKS are made with real fruit, which is outstanding. Their fruit drinks always have lots of pulp and yummy fruit seeds floating in them. 3. The pricing is great! $ 11 for a filling Meat Market rice dish? $ 6 for an individual portion of delicious fried chicken? $ 5 for real fruit tea? $ 12 for two feathery soft Chinese bun sandwiches with fries? I could go on forever, but I don’t want to quote their entire menu. Across the street, the shitty food court at Super88 has food for $ 10 – 11 per dish. NOWAY am I going back there! If there’s one thing I’m disappointed in, is myself. The fact that I shunned this place last year and never stopped by. Why people think this place is overpriced, I will never know. I’m willing to pay 50% more for food of this caliber. But since I’m not, I’ll keep coming and buy more of their food.
