I have had better pizza but don’t get me wrong this place is pretty good. It is a little pricy $ 4.50 for a small slice, but their add said that they will change your view on thick crust pizza, and they were right despite the fact that their pizza crust is thick it was very light and airy. The waiter also gave me an extra slice for free; he didn’t have to do that. There are better pizza places in Boston and on Newbury street. If you are in the mood for thick(er) crust, I would try it, but explore your options first.

The thing that makes this place worth trying is the fact that you can get whatever size piece of their pizzas as you like. They have interesting toppings, so you’re able to just ask for a small cut(maybe just a few bites worth) of a couple types and then pay by weight. I tried 2 pizzas, and they were both okay, not the best pizza I’ve had, but the novelty of trying a few types makes up for that. Definitely worth a try for a casual lunch on Newbury!

4.3 if there was a way to make these pizzas fresh instantaneously, that would make this place a 6 out of 5. the ingredients were fresh and very creative but without being weird. LOVED so many of them. i just wish they could pop out of the oven instantaneously. GREAT helpful staff JEANS: OK by far ORDER: at counter

Fresh ingredients, airy crust and cut with scissors. The concept is cool but the flavor is lacking. The unique line of bottled sodas was the best part.

I haven’t had pizza this fresh and flavorful since I studied abroad in Italy. Great staff and service, you can tell the employees really care about the quality of the food and your experience. My boyfriend and I went in for the free sample and stayed for two slices. Margherita’s sauce was delicious topped with fresh basil and eggplant parm was to die for. Can’t wait to come back!

Pretty good pizza and very nice staff. I liked their idea of charging pizza by the weight and the high speed of giving you the food. I highly recommend this place. My feedback to them is to make their pizzas a little bit thinner but it’s still much better than many other places.

I am in love with this concept. They let you choose what kind of pizza you want and you pay by weight. Or you can get a regular slice for around $ 5. My boyfriend and I bought the Unilocal $ 5 for $ 10 deal and paid an additional $ 6 for the pizza we got. We chose to get five different types of pizza to share and left very full and satisfied. Being from Michigan, deep dish pizzas have a special place in my heart. I’m so glad I found a pizza place in Boston that serves delicious, thick and bready pizza. Yum. Reminds me of Jet’s Pizza, but less greasy. Sure, the pizza doesn’t come out steaming or anything, but the ingredients are fresh and delicious. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the overall restaurant is very cute. Definitely a no frills type of place, but they offer unique drinks and the place is very clean. They cut our five choices into halves for me and my boyfriend too without us asking, which I though was extremely thoughtful. Definitely will come back again for their pizza. Ask for the pieces that have crust, it’s delicious!

My favorite pizza shop in Boston! WHY? The pies here take a whopping three days to make… And they are totally worth the wait. don’t worry! You don’t have to order three days ahead of time. Their thick fluffy dough needs time to grow. These boutique pizza slices come with a variety of one of a kind topping combinations and expensive oils. They are also sold by weight, so you can get as small or as large as life as you wish. Stop in just for a small snack. Another unique offering is Foxon Park soda… The same sweet beverage offered at New Haven’s famous Pepe’s pizza! The deal: this is like no other pizza in Boston. you must simply stop by and try to taste for yourself.

Definitely more expensive than other places, but I mean, you’re on Newbury, what do you expect… I love the concept of asking them to cut you a specific size. They were also very understanding when I asked if I can get a middle portion because I don’t like crusts on pizzas. Anyways, I used the Unilocal coupon where you can get $ 10 worth of things for $ 5, so my friend and I ended up $ 5, which is better than nothing. Anyways, let’s get to the food. If you’re looking for a quick meal, this is the place to go. The pizza is already pre-made, you choose the kind or kinds your want, they ask you about how big a piece you want, and you pay by weight. I got two slices, one of the potato, ham, etc. one and another one that had cherry tomatoes, prosciutto, etc. I personally liked the cherry tomatoes + proscuitto + arugular one better, but the potato one was interesting, and definitely more filling. Eating the pizza can be a bit difficult if you get a middle piece since you don’t have the crust to hold onto, but if you don’t mind your hands getting dirty, it was fine. They also have utensils in the corner, but its plastic… so not very helpful lol All in all, I thought the pizzas were great. The price is expensive, but it was not a surprise so that was fine. And finally, the atmosphere of the place was wonderful. Great modern interior and very friendly staff.

One of the coolest Ideas I’ve seen in a while: Choose your pizza portion. They cut your square from the larger pizza according to what size/dimension you want. Grab a big slice of your fave or 2“x2″ to try the different flavours. Don’t skip out on the dessert pizza(Unless you’re watching your calorie intake.) The interior of this place is sweet! In-groove sliding tables/chairs to form the number of chairs you need for your group. Very local feel to the service. Can’t wait to come back and try the salmon slice.

Exorbitant prices for pizza. They weigh each slice, and I paid about $ 10 for two regular sized slices. They were also served luke warm, and looked like they had been sitting out for a while. Not sure what the hype is about. The staff is incredibly nice though. The bathroom is also really clean.
