Don’t get this one confused with the far inferior Subway in the City Convenience on Albany Street. The Harrison Ave one is the best Subway near BUMC.
Listen, it’s Subway. If you want an amazing sandwich experience, go to one of the dozens of other sandwich places in the South End, but if you want Subway, this is the one to go to. The staff is really friendly and they recognize their frequent customers (I’m in grad school – there’s no shame in eating Subway three times a week). The service is also really quick (vastly quicker than the Albany St. one) – you can get in and out in five minutes at noon. If you decide to dine in, they’ve got awesome pop music on the radio.

Stopped by yesterday, ordered two subs that gave a family of three diarrhea.
Luckily, Boston Medical Center is a quick waddle away. Avoid.

Used to go to this place all the time on my lunch break, until one day I went with a complaint and the manager went crazy. I asked for my money back because the lettuce was brown, and it was only 11 a.m. After he declined to give me my money back, they then preceded to scrape off the old lettuce instead of making a new sandwich. After I brought up the Better Business Bureau they made me a new sandwich. I never write bad reviews, but this was just ridiculous. Its easy and convenient, but the customer service absolutely BLOWS!!!
