Applebee’s

We went here last night Feburary 1^st, to try their ‘Monday Burger’ for the first time since we always go to Red Robin. We should have checked Unilocal first and we could have prevented wasting $ 16.98 for 2 burgers without drinks.
This is what happened. 7pm, Hubby and I were both hungry and tired from work, decided to not cook for Monday. We went to Applebee’s to try their burger, we ordered, All in Burger, the Brunch kind. Asian waitress with black glasses asked us if we want pink or not, we said pink for both patties. Not that we care but, the patty tasted like old oil and is 90% burnt. The waitress barely asked us how’s our food, even the manager wearing a white long sleeve, skipped our booth and asked the couple after us how’s their food. We didn’t get any refill on our drinks, she never asked and last but not the least, we waited 30minutes for our burger.

Very mediocre food. Fast and friendly service, but the steak were almost inedible. The salads were ok, but they charge high prices for their New York strip steaks, and they were thin and mostly gristle. Just awful.

Average score for our big New Years eve night out! We came for a few drinks and some appetizers. Waiter was friendly and prompt. Food from kitchen came in a reasonable time. We had time to converse with each other and didn’t wait so long we began to wonder where food was. Drinks were made decent and brought quick enough and replenished in typical manner. Atmosphere was quiet and no at all busy for the new years eve time. We come here a few times a a year and have had same type of service and same quality of food every time.

I only come here for their 2 for $ 20 (or $ 25) deal, Tuesday’s burger specials and happy hour, the kids love their wings!
For their individual plates however I do think there a bit pricey since the food is average. Our favorite server is Omar, we love him! he’s usually at the bar always so friendly and attentive.

This is by no means fine dining but I would say for the price they do pretty well. 2 steak dinners with appetizer for $ 25 competes successfully with fast food these days. I could not picture them doing much better without a big price hike.

WISH THERE WAS A NO STAR OPTION. Worst experience I’ve ever had in my years of dining food wise. The server was nice that wasn’t the problem although the person who brought us our food didn’t really say anything like ‘enjoy’ or ‘is there anything else I can get for you?’ Just dropped it on the table and left. My little brothers chicken strips were dry almost like they microwave it or heat it back up. Not to mention it looked like they slopped it on the plate. Who wants to eat something that doesn’t look tasteful? Not only that I had some macaroni dish on the new menu and it was not good at all. I’ve been in the food/​customer service industry for a while and there’s no reason anyone should have such a poor dining experience food wise and service wise.

Came in here around 230, I told my server I had 30 – 40 minutes because I had to pick my kids up from school, she made it happen! Amazing service, fast and easy! Only thing that I disliked was the tablets. I used it to order something and it didn’t go through. Plus I much rather have face to face contact than through a screen!

Food was ok, however the waitress at the bar was super friendly. Will pro come back for a few beers. She pro normally is the life of this place. Fun, energetic, friendly, when your from out of town it’s great to have people like this to talk to.

I had a bad experience here once, and I complained to the company. They sent a gift certificate to get me go back in; so we did.
We discovered that they have happy hour from 10pm to close; which is great because we leave work late. It beats McDonald’s and the servers have gotten better.

Worst Service ~Ever~ !!!

22 minutes after that came the fries
Why do I even bother, going to walk out !

My first visit to Applebee’s years and years ago in Chicago was a nightmare. So I was skeptical about returning to any Applebee’s. But since moving to the area, figured why not.
Applebee’s is your average middle of the road fast casual dining establishment. I appreciate it for what it is. I don’t order anything other places do exceptionally (for example, I do not order BBQ here), but I can find a number of things I like and the value is great.
Service is a toss up, never had anyone who was hostile but some clearly are overwhelmed when it’s busy.

–Rude wait staff
–Ran out of clean dishes, and couldn’t bring out drinks
–Extremely long wait for the food (+1 hour)
–The cable was shot off in the middle of the Hawks game… it’s been about 20 minutes, and they haven’t said a word about getting it back up
Oh, did I mention that they have very rude wait staff? Save your self the misery, and drive down the street to Red Robin.

It is nice place to bring the large group. Nice appetiser and happy hour price. Fast. Taste ok. The atmosphere is festive I go again but it wouldn’t be my first choice. Service is good when they are not busy. I think Applebee’s in General is that way. Middle of the road convenience location. But I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there. It is good for Bothell to have places like this… to be social… A place to go for happy hour… or after the game or watch the game…
Hint: be sure to mention you’re senior discount it’s worth 10−15%.(I think). They can’t ask you, but you can tell them.

They serve fast food but at a sit down restaurant and way over charge you for it. So gross. I had a 50 $ gift card for here and we just gave the 30 $ remainder as a tip because we definitely don’t ever wanna go back.

Our experience wouldn’t be so bad if we weren’t placed in the back left corner of where some of the employees were sitting down and talking over everyone.
Our dinner was pretty much ruined by one of the older workers with dark hair (wasn’t in uniform but talking to other workers about schedules) she used excessive use of profanity all night, and very inappropriate and vulgar conversations. Never heard an employee swear that much. Really not work appropriate at all. She seemed like she didn’t care that customers were sitting right next to her and continued to yell across the room.
Food was decent, but service was pretty slow even though there were barely any tables. Also, an extra 1.99 for avocado in our quesadillas?! At least Chipotle gives you a heads up about the price.

First off, it won’t kill you. Probably! The food is what Applebee’s is here in Bothell. It tastes the same in Ames, IA or Baton Rouge, LA. It is.
What sets this Applebee’s apart? It’s the random nature, chaos, employee turnover that makes each and every trip here truly unique! One never knows what will arrive on your plate after you order it! I just love surprises, who doesn’t?! Maybe you’ll get that chicken wrap or you might get a burger! My 15 year old nephew got a beer — for all of 3 seconds until the waitress realized she was at the wrong table. She left the apps though — and charged us for them even though we didn’t order any of them.
Then I got my chance! I’ve always dreamt of being a big game hunter in the African veldt. Will never be able to afford that, so I had to don my pith helmet and search out the most elusive prey of all: The Manager! I perched in my blind, sucking the last bit of ice tea through the ice cubes, but my prey knew I was waiting and eluded me. I even went on a walkabout and the manager was nowhere to be seen!
Alas, this rare creature was probably bagged by another hunter more noble and experienced than I leaving us to wonder if the Applebee’s Manager went the way of the Dodo.
The only evidence that remains is that of my bill. With the apps we didn’t order. My hunting guides were restless and sought to flee the area. A herd of blue-​rinse Hyenas began to settle into the watering hole and made the other animals restless with their braying about how much better things were in the past.
We headed to new vistas, promising to never come this way again.

Nice attentive staff with decent food at decent prices. The facility is clean, the service average, and the selection of food above average. We had the salmon and ceasar salad and both were savory and the right temp. Drinks came so fast, I don’t know how they made it from the back that quickly. This is a very nice place for the money and a perennial favorite for many couples.

Do not come here. Take the extra drive to Lynwood or where ever else. My girlfriend and I have given this place FOUR CHANCES all being horrific experience.
I’ll speak about today’s experience to safe time :
We got Tao for a server, again, and as he greeted us we knew it would be a long night. (He hasn’t been the best in the past) We placed our order for a well-​done burger. I took my first bite (and my bites aren’t small) and it was pink. The manager, sensing our unhappiness, asked us how our food was and after telling her our burger wasn’t done she graciously places an order for a new burger to go.
After getting my check, yes I have to pay for our pink burger, we see that «well done» was never even placed on the ticket.
Just overall irritated with the customer service.
My girlfriend and i LOVE Applebee’s. We use to go weekly in our hometown but now bothell Applebee’s has left a sour taste in our mouths.

It’s Applebee’s. It’s a fucking American Classic. Freaking happy hour? Fuck yeah. Half price food and cheap booze? Fuck yeah. Friendly atmosphere and great staff? Fuck yeah!
Need to impress a date? Bring her between 3pm & 6pm or 9pm and close! She’ll be blown away by your savvy spending skills. And what’s sexier than the staff knowing your name because you’re there every fucking day. Get that bitch some buffalo wings.
Overall it’s a fantastic place to have a great time.

Although I’ve had pretty good experiences dining in, this review is more about my takeout experience.
I hosted a Holiday party for 18 friends, preordered the food asking for a specific pick up time, and WOW… not only was the food ready right on time, it was prepped and packaged to make sure everything stayed hot, fresh, and delicious!
Big thank you for stepping up and doing it right… especially when other local restaurants wouldn’t even consider what I was looking for.
