I enjoy coming here for lunch on my work hour because they have decent food but Doc PLEASE fix the front door that either slams every time a customer walks in or it gets stuck in the open position and freezes everyone out. I had trouble getting on your WIFI today. Fix these and I’d love to come back and adjust my Ratings and Review. Thanks!

New owners it seems to be ran by a family now. I had just visited this place today to get a bowl of soup. It was very pricey for the portion and the quality. I ordered a chicken and rice soup and the consistency was almost like a porridge. There was also a long piece of hair in my soup. They really need to wear hairnets and gloves when handling their food and kitchen utensils.

Tried this place based on Unilocal reviews. It wasn’t bad, the wait time for to go orders wasn’t too bad, although they forgot my fries which extended my wait time. Coworker ordered the special, it was a bit too greasy. Third coworker enjoyed the lamb gyro. Next time I’m in town, I will probably call ahead and ask them to hold the onions on the Philly cheese steak

Doc’s has gone from menial to horrid. They now only cater to Halal food and couldn’t care less what patron’s think. The food is horrid. I will not patronize this place again.

I had heard rave reviews about this little sandwich shop near my office and decided to try it. I was taken back by all the negative reviews by others. I don’t eat philly cheesteak sandwiches but love a good burger. This place makes one of the best hamburgers I’ve had in a very long time. Large handmade patties and an awesome toasted bun. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be a regular from here on out!

Always in search of a great sandwich, the office crew decided to get take-out from Doc’s today. I immediately spied the«Philly Pete Classic Cheesesteak» and knew that I had to give it a chance. Having lived in Philadelphia for a number of years, I’ve found it increasingly difficult to find an authentic cheesesteak. Sadly, Doc’s version did nothing to change that. I’m not sure what they think is «classic» about this sandwich. It has meat, and onions, and cheese, on a roll. So I guess technically that qualifies it as a cheesesteak. But when you throw that«classic» word and«Philly» around my expectations change. Never, and I mean not one single time while I lived in Philly, did I ever have a cheesesteak with melted American cheese slices. A true cheesesteak has whiz, and if not whiz then at the very least it has provolone. Doc’s has neither. Additionaly, the roll(arguably the most important ingredient) was mushy and fell apart. The onions were not very plentiful either, another non-classic decision. Overall it tasted bland and boring. I tried a side of seasoned waffle fries, as well, and while the seasoning was nice eating the fries was like chewing cardboard. To be transparent here, my office is only a few minutes away, so the sandwich didn’t get soggy nor the fries become as chewy as gummy bears on the drive back. It was a very disappointing meal and I can’t see myself risking another visit when there are so many better sandwich places around. If your cheesesteak is worse than Subway and Quiznos, you might have a problem.

Never had a bad meal from Docs! The burgers are amazing, philly cheese steak is great too. I get my coffee there almost every morning and my girl is a coffee connoisseur! Prices are fair and staff is friendly. Happy customer.

Pretty good sandwich shop in the Canyon Park area. I spotted the French Dip on the menu and had to order it, and it was okay, but I wasn’t too impressed. Still being hungry, I quickly returned to the counter and asked what they were known for, which turned out to be the Philly Pete Classic Cheesesteak. This is a GREAT sandwich: onions, cheese, and everything else. Order the full(not half) and have a great lunch.

I had the Bacon Cheddar Burger and a side of Waffle Fries. Overall the place is fine for what it is — a small place focused on the weekday lunch crowd. The burger was great. The meat was tasty, tender, and juicy. There were two strips of bacon. The bun was fresh and almost crumbling. Yum! The waffle fries were crispy and good. However, –1 star since the waffle fries were cold.

The staff is a bunch of cute girls but the food is lacking flavor and depth. The owner works there most days and asked how food was, might be a first.

This review is for the Doc’s Grill operated in 22213 North in the Canyon Pointe office park. I bought a panini sandwich from the fridge at Doc’s. The checker asked if I’d like the sandwich pressed, and I said no, because hot spinach is gross. We laughed together about that. So I go back to my desk, took a bite of the sandwich, and realize that the chicken breast inside is basically raw in the middle. Not pink, but raw(and pre-frozen, in case anyone had any doubt). I took the sandwich back and the checker was very nice, apologized and returned my money. After telling my coworkers this story, one said: «Yeah, that place will kill you» and the other said, «I do not eat there.» And now, I will not eat there either.

Yum! Went here for a quick lunch with coworkers during training. Had a turkey havarti sandwich and sweet potato fries. Cooked well. I liked the trivia cards on the table too. It gave us all a few laughs during lunch!

Sweet potato fries, bacon cheeseburger = satisfied customer! Prices were pretty reasonable as well. They aren’t open on the weekends and I liked how when we called our order in that by the time we arrive, the food was already set up at the table which is nice when you’re on a time crunch. If you can make it on a weekday, this is a nice spot for tasty burgers.

I’ve come here a few times for lunch in between 1hr incubations since it is so closeby to work. A co-worker introduced me because she absolutely loves the Philly Cheesesteaks here. However, I ordered the Reuben because I absolutely love Reuben sandwiches. I have to say that it is pretty good here, though I prefer pastrami instead of corned beef. The sandwich wasn’t dry and there were perfect amounts of beef, sauerkraut and sauce with lettuce and tomatoes. The price is cheap at about $ 6.00 for the meal. I have also had the tuna salad sandwich for $ 6.00. This was also very good. It is served with romaine lettuce and heaping scoops of tuna salad in a croissant sandwich. The sandwich is hefty enough that I could save the other half for a next meal. An added plus is that they make their own potato chips. These chips are quite good whn served piping hot but when you get them later on in the day, they lose some of their taste. A bag costs just $ 1.50. The restaurant is very clean and decorated in a 60’s style way. Much like a diner. The booths are very cool and the staff is friendly. If you make it in time for the lunch specials, one could get a great deal for $ 5.50. The specials change daily. Definitely, I will return here when I need that quick lunch within an hour.

I love having lunch at Doc’s. The lightening lunch is a great — quick & easy grab n go. For only $ 5…no tax on anything! So if i have cash u can bypass the line and just hand over the money. The Philly is awesome-best I’ve ever had and the fish n chips are pretty awesome. They serve the entire battered fish up on the fries. I read the previous review on the owner & was kinda bummed out-the guy is super cool. Both him & his wife are very nice. They make it an «at home feeling». Very comfortable. I say go & eat there! It’s affordable, quick and delicious!

Finally a philly cheesesteak! I’m from the east coast and have been craving a Philly Cheesesteak for quite a while. My husband and I both got the cheesesteak and loved it. Staff was freindly, food was quick, the place was clean and the owner stopped by to ask us how everything was and make sure we had everything we needed. I’ll definitely be going back.

Update: I still like Docs for Lunch, but things have changed a little… The Lightning lunch is no longer a daily special, it is just a day old sandwich out of the fridge. The Amazing chips are very hit and miss… Docs has experienced a lot of turn over, and there food is suffering… Hopefully things get better down the road… Previous: Docs is by far the best lunch spot around the Bothell area!!! You can usually catch me here atleast 3 days a week, for there Lightening Lunch. I really enjoy a good sandwich spot, and this is one of my favorites!!!

Heard they started serving dinner and wanting to support a local establishment so we thought we’d check it out. Appetizer came and immediately, we were impressed. Had seared Ahi. It was perfect! Warm, sauce was excellent, seared to just enough and Tuna was so tender, all for $ 7(half off because we came during happy hour). Dinner itself was a tough decision, I really wanted crab cakes but I always test a new place on their signature dish. Doc’s claim to have a very decent philly cheese steak — so I had to try it. Was not disappointed. Came piping hot, with melted cheese and enough to last me two meals(I grew up with 5 brothers, trust me I can eat and this meal was BIG). They also make they own fries. I opted for sweet potato and my husband opted for home made chips. Both were delicious. The Big Mac(Bacon cheeseburger) he ordered was no small thing either. Sloppy, greasy and big enough to warrant the«BIG» Mac title. We didn’t stop there… I wanted to try their dessert on for size(saved half my philly for home so I thought I had room) Boy was I wrong. Ordered the crème brûlée(half would have been sufficient, I think I OD on richness. Recommendation(do NOT try appetizer AND dessert in one sitting. Do one or the other unless you skip dinner. Over all, it was a great experience, loved the setting(very clean, classy and comfortable). Would have been extremely happy with just the wine and appetizer. Will come back for sure for the 100% crab(crab cakes). Can’t wait! Only down side was they didn’t have beer on tap and no mixed drinks and coffee was NOT strong enough but everything else was excellent. Don’t be fooled if it looks closed(windows are extremely tinted). Come for happy hour($ 1 off wine or beer, ½ off appetizer) from 3−6PM.
