I’ve only eaten here 4 times but every time I have it has been great! It honestly made me want to sign up for Unilocal just to leave a great review. Each time the Teriyaki was freshly cooked and steaming hot, and delicious! I live in Seattle, but if I’m ever in Bothell this will be top on my list to visit.

Service was good but the food had an odd smell. Ordered yakisoba and it tasted like it was drenched in sauce and had an odd flavor… I wouldn’t go here again.

The atmosphere should be enough to scare anyone away from eating here. I don’t think the air filter has been changed on the air conditioning unit for this building ever. Everything is covered in dust. I would have walked out but I thought to myself. If I don’t report on how bad my post meal diarrhea dumps are, nobody will. So here I am sacrificing my intestines and well being for the Unilocal readers. With how disgusting the seating area is I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. Will update with food poisoning results. This is by far the worst teriyaki I’ve had. I’m %100 sure the meat is marinated in ketchup. I ordered the beef and pork spicy teriyaki although I cannot confidently say those are are the animals I was served. The portions were skimpy and the meat didn’t taste fresh. I have a feeling tomorrow will be spent on the toilet.

This place is a Bothell staple. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years, and it never disappoints. Good quality meat for cheap, and it’s clean. That’s really all you need in a teriyaki place. Call ahead, place your order(always get gyoza) and just shovel all of that deliciousness into your face. Portion sizes are just right to clear your plate without sending you into a food coma. This place is my jam, and there isn’t another hometown teriyaki place that can take its place. Also, if you have cash on you, pay with that.

The Beef Teriyaki was tasty and wasn’t an obscene amount of food. The service was quick and friendly. It’s a Teriyaki joint so I’m not sure what else to tell you…

Best salmon teriyaki for your money in the Bellevue/Seattle area. Cheaper than most but double the salmon. Loved the flavor(: I got it to-go, service was great(only took 10 – 15 minutes) Clean and organized. You can see them making your food. Lots of meat, they don’t skimp! Very friendly(: Will be back!

Tasty, fast and affordable. I have only had the Chicken Teriyaki and Yakisoba. Both were great! Very friendly seems like a local favorite in the area.

Ive eaten the teriyaki here before and didn’t think it was anything to write home about but today I I went in and got a side of egg rolls, side salad and miso soup to go to hold me over until dinner. All of these tasted fine, although it’s pretty hard to mess up those items but the things that will make me more than likely not want to come back are the cleanliness and the pre-cooked food. First, I usually try to look at the kitchen and other parts of a restaurant to see how cleanly they are and while the kitchen/cooking area was relatively clean, the grill is visible behind the register but there was a back kitchen area that could not be seen. The eating area on the other hand was not very clean. The ceiling tiles were out of place and there were edges of them showing that had a bunch of dust and dirt and everything else on them as were other parts of the eating area and it made me not want to sit down or touch anything. The other frustrating part was that the cooks were cooking up vast quantities of chicken and pork and beef and then they placed those in pans, my guess, as well as others reviews on here, is that they cook everything ahead of time and then reheat it just before serving. That’s not really my idea of fresh teriyaki and I’d rather wait 10 – 15 minutes for them to actually cook my entire meal for me and not just reheat everything. My family members enjoy this place but between the pre-cooked food and lack of cleanliness I’d have to say I’ll go somewhere else.

From where I’m at, this is a five minute drive to the place and right next to Starbucks. Easy to find, you can’t miss. Also, great service with the woman(Sorry I didn’t ask for her name). Ordered from this place twice so far. I love the chicken teryaki and the spicy chicken teryaki. If you love teryaki, this is your spot! The food was delicious. The prices are super affordable. I got my food within a few minutes & the food was fresh! The lady who seems like she owns this place was awesome she found my husband’s card & saved it until I showed up! I was panicking but she definitely gained my trust and you should trust her cooking too. She is wonderful.

Great place for teriyaki. I like spicy food, and their spicy chicken teriyaki is exceptional. The place is very popular, and can get crowded at lunch.

First time here… I have some pros and cons… The place was clean and open and the menu was pretty clean cut. There was a group of people there when i walked in and two more came in after me. Clearly this is a popular joint. We ordered Chicken Breast Teriyaki and Chicken Teriyaki with Gyoza. The teriyaki sauce was thick and the salad dressing was yummy… we all know this is how we gauge a good teriyaki place. :) One thing I had issue with… we didn’t get any napkins or forks with our take out. And I got about half as much chicken as my friend. I assume this is because I ordered gyoza. But I had never had a place skimp on the chicken. Otherwise. delish.

Awesome teriyaki. Amazing friendly and fast service. I love how they write the bible verse on the board. It’s cheap and super close to the high school so I can go there for lunch. i can also go there before football games in the fall. I will for SURE be back multiple times.

This is the only place I go now for teriyaki! When I moved to Bothell a few years back I was looking for good teriyaki nearby. Bento was recommended to me and was close by my house. The portions are good. They have really good chicken(or whatever meat) fried rice and the teriyaki chicken is good. My absolute favorite though are the egg rolls! One word– AWESOME!!! I’ve never been to a teriyaki place with such good egg rolls! The people there are nice, friendly, and remember your face when you come back. They have good variety in the menu, as well. I’d highly recommend this place to my friends or family. Happy customer :)

Love Bento’s. Used to go here at least once a week for lunch back when I was in school. Just had it again the other day; still amazing!!! Lunch special is solid. Teriyaki sauce is delicious. Added bonus: I think they have the best salad dressing all around. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! As a matter of fact, it’s lunch time now isn’t it? I’ll be back. Haha

I just ate here for the first time in over a year. I remember it being better than it was. I ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki to go. The parking lot was very dark and small, though there is a lot of parking next door at QFC. The spicy chicken costs more but wasn’t really spicy(for my tastes) and I wasn’t given an option to make it spicier like some other places I frequent. They have a random Scripture verse about Jesus on a white board. The food tasted good and teriyaki always hits the spot but it seemed cold in the restaurant and I just prefer to eat in my car than be in an uncomfortable environment by myself. I didn’t notice any complimentary tea or soup here as in some other places I frequent.

We’ve been coming to Bento for a few years now. Consistently good teriyaki. The rice is always really good. I get the chicken kebab because I don’t like the mystery chicken in the other dishes. :) We like the gyozas and also the egg rolls as well. Hubby loves the regular chicken teriyaki. I think it’s mostly dark meat, which I don’t like, which is why I go with the kebab because it’s all white meat. Comes with a plain little salad which has a yummy dressing. Not sure what it is, but, it’s good. The owners are super friendly & I like to give business to local joints, so, Bento will continue to get our business.
