I absolutely love this place. The inside of the store is adorable, the jewelry is beautiful(and decently priced for the quality) and the customer service is amazing(thanks again, Trish!). I walked in not planning to buy anything but ended up falling in love and«having to get» a gorgeous thing yellow gold hammered ring to add to my wedding set. Would definitely come back when we are in town again!

Angie Star recently ruined a family diamond by placing a chip in the face and then did not own up to the error. I would not recommend this jeweler at all!

When we were trying to get a custom-made engagement ring for my(now) husband and I, we went to Angie Star. We had a pretty large turquoise stone that we wanted set into a ring. The service woman was helpful enough but wasn’t the actual jeweler, so she didn’t know whether or not it could be done. We waited a few days and heard back– unfortunately it was something they would not be able to do. Move forward to several months later– my ring was finished from another craftsman, but we still needed to find a wedding band for my husband. We had dropped a pretty penny on getting mine made and it wasn’t really in our price range to go to the same artist. Angie Star to the rescue! We walked in on a Saturday morning and explained what we wanted. After perusing the selection and not finding one that jumped out, the saleswoman pulled out a beautifully hammered, unique men’s ring. My husband instantly knew that was the one. It wasn’t in his size, so we inquired what the wait time would be to get it made: imagine our shock when she said, «Can you give me 2 hours?» We were delighted– went to brunch and came back in the two quotes hours to pick up the ring. It was also an amazingly great price(I was anticipating spending way more). He still loves it and the best part is that it’s set apart from other boring plain wedding bands.

I bought a beautiful five-piece gold stacking ring set. I love it! It sparkles and I really value that it was made here in Boulder with conflict-free diamonds. The ladies there are so lovely and helpful!

I bought some gorgeous green/blue freshwater pearl earrings for my mom here. Not everything is my aesthetic, but I liked the natural materials and organic feel to the pieces. My mom’s earrings were simple but beautiful and not expensive. She loved them.

Checked this place out when gift shopping, based on it’s «Best of Boulder» for the last several years. The shop has a unique selection of handmade jewelry vreated by local artisans… no factory-made stuff, everything is one of a kind. Five + stars ’cause my wife really loved the earrings and necklace(and I got the credit)

Went back there last Saturday, very, very, very, blah selection, honestly I’ve seen better stuff at an Urban Outfitters, believe it or not. Everything also was way overpriced, even for Boulder, & with Denver being a 25 min drive, why bother???
