Very friendly staff and an inspiring art collection make for a winning combination. They have some unusual pieces that are obviously made with love and passion. Bought something from Rob Ryan here and I am very happy with my purchase. A spacious interior and a relaxing atmopshere remove all the pressure of being in an upscale gallery. Nice mix of price points and accessories/jewelry.

Our trip to Boulder is always filled with lots of great shopping and new excursions. First stop of the day was Art & Soul Gallery. I will agree with Vince D. that almost everything is out of a normal persons price range. If you’re anything like me, that doesn’t stop you. This place is full of artwork, sculptures, and even some unique jewelry. I enjoyed a lot of the artwork and when I meet my Millionaire I might even come back and pick some up, hehe. The jewelry is also very nice, and the ladies behind the counter were very willing to take out the pieces to let us examine them more closely. Great customer service here.

Art & Soul As I am new to Boulder and a fan of the arts I was surprised by the lack of an up and coming art scene or rather the representation of such. There are plenty of young people and of course plenty of opened minded people. Are you to tell me there are no young expressive countemperary artists in this town. I know this too be untrue look to the C.U. Art program for fine examples. Lets get some representation for these artists people! That said I have visited Art & Soul about 5 times and will continue doing so. Although there pieces are a bit out of my league when it comes to price and not all of there art fits my tastes, They have had a couple of exceptional exhibits since my arrival to Boulder. Jason Thielke an artist I believe is currently based out of Denver has been represented on each of my visits. This mans work is Hot! I have watched him over the last few years and think his work is nothing short of Phenomenal. Point to A&S Curio — Specimens, Collectibles and Artifacts. A collaborative exhibition by Regan Rosburg and Laura Zindel. Also featuring new mixed media works by Regan Rosburg. Wow these are some great pieces combining Illustration, Painting and layering of resin. Into elaborate and deep pieces that seem to all include actual specimens of insects. Very very interesting. These pieces seem like they would reach a broad spectrum of people. A piece of work that would feel as much at home in my house as say my Grandmothers. I do not come across work like that often. Another point to A&S Along with these works they have many others that seem like they would reach out to broad segment of Boulders population. They also carry a large selection of jewelry that I have not had a chance to fully take in. All in all I would recommend checking out Art & Soul even if you are not in the market for or do not have the budget for art. This is a nice addition to the contemporary culture of Boulder.

Interesting pieces, could not normally afford any of the jewelry but one v. nice person was super friendly in helping me search through pieces left over from their sidewalk sale. Found a couple great finds. Highly recommend you passing through– also good variety b/c there are several artists’ works here w/different media.

The good and the bad of Boulder art galleries The Good: There are lots of galleries filled with high quality artwork. The Bad: The artwork is out of the average person’s price range. The Good News: Art & Soul Gallery, one of my favorite galleries in Boulder, has a fine selection of high-end and low-end artwork. I’ve divided the galleries in Boulder into two groups: The ones I look at and the ones I shop at. Art & Soul bridges the gap. They have really nice fine art that I appreciate as a spectator, and they also have really cool little items that are also affordable and unique. I got a friend a low-priced, but extremely well-crafted, dip bowl that has a fancy design, but the best part is that after you eat to the bottom it announces that there was LSD in the dip. Haha. That kills me. They also sell really cool Christmas tree ornaments in the winter, such as a black skull and bones one that I hang every year.
