A friend and I went for the first time on a Wednesday at 11am. They sat us after 5 minutes and we were immediately asked what drinks. The waiter then did not come back for another 20 minutes. In that time the people next to us finished their meal and another couple was sat next to us, and ordered before us. When our food came out it was small portioned. Once again the waiter did not come back until the checks came. If it was crazy busy, I would understand the lack of waiter, but it was relativity mellow and he was just standing in the corner sipping his espresso the whole time. The food was alright but not for those prices. The tacos were primarily made of eggs, the chorizo was flavorless and when we wanted to ask for more hollandaise sauce there was no waiter in sight. The music was turned up too loud and it was club music. Its 11am on a Wednesday, Cascada’s «evacuate the dance floor» does not need to be blasting when I’m trying to enjoy a nice brunch. Over all poor service. Only meh food. Overpriced. Obnoxious setting.

Visiting Boulder and Snooze was recommended by a friend and omg its the best food we’ve had in Colorado so far. I’m from Wisconsin so the Bloody standard is set high and the«gazpacho» did not disappoint. They infuse their vodka in site and it was one of the best bloodys I’ve ever had. I had the cornbread which was a huge portion, some of the best eggs I’ve ever had and even the toast seemed extra delicious. My boyfriend had the Benedict duo where you get too different one he had the chilaquiles and classic and described it as perfect– and he eats a lot of Benny’s so this is a huge compliment!

I fell in love with Snooze on Pearl Street! Though the wait was 1 hour, it’s worth it if you have the time. You can shop and walk around Pearl Street until they call you. Being from out-of-state, I would definitely come back to try different dishes. I got the Benny Duo(Bella! Bella! and Chile Verde Benny) and they were good proportions with the sides they offer. The waiter was super friendly and the ambiance is a cute 60s bright orange vibe.

Plan ahead. Plan very far ahead. You are going to have to wait for a table for awhile. So, I called before I went and they said it will be 45 minutes for 5 people. I arrive 10 minutes later — 1 hr 20min to 1hr 40 min wait. YIKES! Thank goodness I had an errand to run prior to going here, so that killed about 30 minutes, but still a long wait. My food was good. I got the Snooze Spuds Deluxe, «A heaping portion of our hash browns, covered with melted cheddar & jack cheese, scallions plus choice of two fillings.» Here is what I would say — Heaping portion? Meh. I would say it is the exact same size as the portion everyone else received of hash browns(which is pretty large) but they make it sound like it’s more than that. Hash browns are good. Cheese, scallions and egg whites. good. Chicken sausage(my add-on) was super dry — not like jerky, but almost like reconstituted jerky. dry and pretty flavorless. Carmelized onions(also an add-on) good. While I was definitely not disappointed with my meal, I am not really sure it commands the wait. Overall, just kind of good brunch food. Not amazing, just good. PS — if you don’t like any of the following: 1) 90’s/00’s hip/hop 2) loud 90’s/00’s hip hop, this is not the place for you. The music is SO loud it is hard to talk to the people across from you.

The pancakes taste like they are from a cheap box mix and at $ 9.50 overpriced. Only upside was free coffee while I waited. Sorry greatly disappointed. Oh and when I order an omelet expect two pieces of toast now one piece cut in half really you can’t give me two slices of bread

Breakfast for three Saturday am — only disappointment was one hour wait(but plenty of fun and interesting places to visit in Boulder while waiting) Most shops open at ten — next time will target to arrive then. Décor is fifties — bright, colorful with fun booths and tables. Full bar. We each had Benny Duo — two types of eggs Benedict and substituted the hash brown for a pancake. Eggs were the best eggs Benedict we ever had — each was perfectly prepared with a very unique flavor and texture/platform. The pancakes were very large and surprisingly quite light and fluffy — given they were ½ in thick. They had delightful flavors — we tried sweet potato, blueberry and pineapple upside down(very sweet). Wait staff everywhere and no one rushing you to finish — given the long wait to get in. Drink plenty of coffee and then go hike the Flatirons or the food coma will take over! Great location, ambiance, eggs Benedict and pancakes, wait staff!

I ate here alone, ordering 2 eggs, 2 meats, 2 pieces of toast. Super cool place, great service and great food with a unique menu. I especially liked the location which allowed for a nice walk after breakfast. My only slight issue with this place is that I was seated on the bench near the kitchen. I was so close to the people eating next to me, that it was like eating with strangers. I hear they are opening one of these near where I live in Houston. I’ll definitely be there!

Great place for breakfast, too bad it’s so busy and you have to wait to get a table, even during the week(20 minutes on a Wednesday morning, not too bad though compared to weekends.) The staff is very friendly and the food delicious. I went for my birthday with a friend and had the Snooze classic with pulled pork, delicious. Then we shared the pancake of day. Even though we were full, it was so good that we finished it. And since our waitress noticed it was my birthday, she brought us a blueberry pancake. Nice atmosphere(although it gets a little loud) and love the small patio too.

You can not go wrong going to Snooze! Not only was this a place my friend Adam mentioned we should go, but also Malary J. So we decided to head to Boulder for Snooze. Of course there was a wait, but so worth it! They get your name and number an savior you a text when your table is ready. While our wait was about 40 minutes, we walked up Pearl St to check out all the shops. Such a treat! Once our table was ready we headed back. The wait staff here def has a fun side. Watching a few with some dance moves while waiting for bar drinks to serve. Of course, we all got our mimosas. I had a Violet Beauregard(yup, from Charlie & The Chocolate factory. This consisted of bubbly, gin, maple syrup, soda splash and berry shrub. A vibrant ruby/violet color and you taste the bubbly first and then the gin after. I had so many good options to choose from, but I saw that French toast and said you’re mine! How have a dollop of fresh whipped marscapone on your French toast? That sweet creamy goodness melting on your French toast with a drizzle of maple syrup and fresh berries?! Yes please! Can’t tell you how happy I was eating this meal. I also ordered a side of hash browns and sausage. When you’re doing all these hikes and walking, you need that hearty meal to fill you up. And this meal did it! I know, I know, I could’ve gotten french toast anywhere, but seriously who adds marscapone on French toast?! Plus, they had another option of stuffed French toast with marscapone inside, how about that! The interior is bright and open with a modern design. Packed with foodies enjoying delicious food and drink. Both my friends got the breakfast tacos; one added chorizo(drooling) and the other ordered mushroom and avocado. Definitely make this a go to brunch spot! And then stroll around downtown Boulder.

Went here for a weekday breakfast ~8am. It was crowded, but we didn’t wait. I would say overall satisfying but not mind-blowing food. Your ability to customize your meal is pretty great. My friend couldn’t decide between a savory or a sweet dish, and the server just said she could have half of both. I found the OMG french toast to be far too sweet, however. She was glad she got half and half because she wouldn’t have been able to finish the french toast if that was all she got. I got the Chilaquiles + Chile Verde eggs Benedict. Again, being able to try 2 different styles= satisfaction. The hash browns were on the salty side and made it hard to taste the flavors on the Benedict. Ultimately, I don’t think I would come back, but I wasn’t disappointed with the meal.

Overhyped… so many reviews glorify this place but it can’t live up to the hype. I really could not WAIT to try the specialty pancakes… I’d been looking at the menu online and was excited for breakfast! I was further excited when the pancakes hit the table as they looked amazing! Sadly, they did not deliver. I would guess that these specialty pancakes are prepared ahead of time then heated up quickly before serving them. I’d so prefer a hot pancake fresh off the griddle.
None of my pancakes were«hot», they had all cooled off some by time I got them. The chocolate chips in my chocolate chip pancake werent even melted! The pancake itself was a bit hard. It was more like a cookie than a pancake… The blueberry danish and pineapple upside down pancake had the same issue, it seemed to me they were not freshly prepared but heated up before serving… The highlight turned out to be the bacon! It was a lovely surprise, nice thick cut oven baked bacon. It was delicious and saved Snooze from a 2 star review. Our service was fine, altho we did have to wait about 30 minutes to be seated. They will take your cell and text you when your table is ready.

Love love their variations on the menu! Hash brown is the best hands down. Luckily, it comes as side dish on lots of menu items. I always order both savory and sweet dishes every visit. The portion is generous and I cannot finish those dishes every single time that I have to ask my fellow eaters to finish the dishes off for me. Favorite for savory is Breakfast Chicken potpie… really is the best fluffy & flaky pie filled with chicken chunks and creamy sauce… OMG For the sweets, I’ve got too many favorites but the Pancake flight and OMG French toast are a must! I always get blueberry danish, sweet potato, and pineapple upside down pancakes… all really moist and full of flavor. I always bring out-of-towner here to impress them and have never been disappointed. The service is hit or miss and the wait time is always ridiculously long, but HEY, the food is great !

This place is insane. I literally had an out of body experience eating brunch this morning. The sweet potato pancakes are AMAZING. I usually don’t like pancakes but they were super moist and well flavored! I also got the benny duo– the harvest benny was my favorite. The only thing I didn’t love were the hash browns, they come out sorta shaped like a big tater tot. I like mine cooked a little more and the ones they serve are really only crisp on the outside– but that is just preference. We came on a tuesday morning around 8:30 and were seated immediately. Fast service. Urg cant stop thinking about the pancakes.

HEAVENISREAL. AHHH I am dreaming about snooze. Can you teleport to Chicago? We were visiting and decided to check this place out mid-week. Yes, there was still a wait but not as long as what we heard it was on the weekends. Our waitress brought out a complimentary pancake(something carmel and gooey) hello carbs. hello who cares. SOOO good. We were really impressed with everything. We boozed it up with some bloody Mary’s and mimosas. Okay, we were on vaca. Also delicious. Can’t wait to come back to this place!

Possibly the best breakfast in boulder. My recommendation is don’t get anything you can get somewhere else, try one of their unique and one of A kind meals. You can even do half orders of two you can’t choose between. I love this place when there is not a wait, and there is ALWAYS a wait

We didn’t expect Snooze to be busy mid morning midweek, but it was bustling when we stopped by in early January. Although there were tables available we opted to sit at the bar. We were so impressed! The bartender that day was Abrian, and her ability to craft cocktails and espresso drinks for all of the guests seated in the restaurant, as well as each guest at her bar, was awesome. She was totally cool. She also really helped us through the menu, helped us decide on the perfect dishes for each of our personal tastes(and it was all wonderful), and gave us great advice on life and what to do in Boulder. Absolutely wonderful.

Had the best breakfast here today! We were in a hurry so we sat at the counter and had fast and friendly service. There’s a hip hop vibe, but it’s faux ’cause c’mon, it’s Boulder right? Anyway, the food was great. We went burrito and huevos and both were excellent. The burrito was gigantor and the huevos had three eggs, black beans and good, flavorful red sauce. I had them add avocado which made it perfect. Plenty of teas, coffees and mixed drinks all around the counter. We had green tea and iced tea. Bill came to around 25 $ and we were out of there fast and furious. Fun atmosphere, happy service and wonderful meal.

Best. French. Toast. Ever. Just picture golden brown, caramelized french toast stuffed with a soft layer of sweetened mascarpone cheese, drizzled with caramel sauce and sprinkled with coconut shavings and strawberry slices. Order the OMG French Toast if you want your life to be changed. I’ve been a big fan of Snooze ever since it came to Pearl Street. The wait is always long(first come first serve) but well worth it for the friendly and warm atmosphere. Very Boulder. Highly recommend the eggs benedict(specifically the Bella Bella Benny!!) and any of the breakfast burritos or tacos. My grandma’s a huge fan of Juan’s Breakfast tacos; and that’s saying something. She’s picky about her green chili. Snooze is a great choice with awesome menu items, drink options, and AMAZING french toast!

I think this is a perfect case of the hype being so crazy and it just didn’t live up to expectation. I know Snooze is notoriously busy on weekends, so when I took a Monday off to celebrate my birthday and for a friend from Seattle being in town, we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to check it out when it was a little less slammed. There was still a 30 minute wait when we checked in just after 10 am, but it was no big deal as we decided to walk down to Boxcar and grab coffees while we waited. We were back just in time to get the text that our table was ready, perfect! We were seated at a booth in the corner right next to the server station and we quickly decided that even though it was a Monday, it was my birthday and we needed morning cocktails. By the time our server came over we’d already decided on food as well as drinks so he got our order in and returned about 10 minutes later with our cocktails. While he was friendly enough, he was just SUPER slow. It was 10 minutes until our drinks came out. Then another 20 for our food(I get it, they were busy). I asked for more water, hot sauce and ketchup when he dropped our food. When he came back 10 minutes later with hot sauce and ketchup, I’d already given up and started eating since it was taking forever. I didn’t get a water refill until he dropped the check another 15 minutes later. I’d forgive meh service if the food was great — but it wasn’t — it was just ok. Around the table we’d ordered the green eggs and hamwich, the spuds deluxe and the pineapple upside down pancakes. Sweet breakfast items are where they excel and maybe it was our fault for going too savory, but while the pancakes were really good — not the best I’ve ever had, but good — my spuds deluxe just tasted like frozen hashbrowns with WAY too much black pepper and some undercooked bacon and red peppers mixed in. My friend said her sandwich was good, and that was that. Again, nothing amazing or worth waiting 30 minutes on a Monday morning for. Overall, between the just ok food, the wait and the bad service it was a pretty disappointing way to start my day. Also, personal pet peeve, I got carded on my birthday and he didn’t notice that it was my birthday or if he did he didn’t say anything. Did you actually even look at my ID, dude? Because I genuinely want to love Snooze I’ll probably give one of the other locations a shot, but when in Boulder I’ll choose elsewhere.

The host was so ridiculously awful that we almost left. We had to wait 15 minutes for a table even though the restaurant was less than half full(an off time on a weekday), and then he seated us, a couple with a toddler, in a rounded middle booth and failed to get us the high chair we requested. Like, it NEVER showed up, leaving us to attempt to contain and feed a toddler in a booth with no walled side. Thankfully she’s cooperative! The waitress was peeved as well, since he then sat the whole crowd that had gathered behind us in her area all at once, but she was very attentive and polite in spite of the host screwing her over so good on her! My husband and I both had variations of the eggs benedict(I forget exactly which). His were perfectly cooked and delicious; my eggs were seriously undercooked(runny white). I don’t send food back unless it’s inedible, and if toddler wasn’t starting to lose it I would have sent this back. The pineapple upside down pancakes were the real highlight though. All three of us gorged ourselves on them. I would go back on a weekday with no wait and eat pancakes. I would never wait more than ten minutes for a meal here, and I wouldn’t recommend it to people as a breakfast or brunch spot when there are so many better options with shorter waits.
