I think it was Jim who took care of us at the counter for breakfast. If I got that wrong, apologies, but he was truly one of the friendliest warmest people I’ve ever encountered in the service business anywhere. Awesome guy. His recommendation to pass the farmers market and head to red rocks for a short hike turned into a stellar outdoor memory the three of us will never forget. So glad we stumbled onto this place! My girl and my best friend each said their plate was the best they’d ever had of that food. Friend said best omelet hands down and girl got tofu scramble and said the same, best one she ever had. I got the chicken sandwich which was very tasty but I’ve had a lot of life changing sammies so I won’t go superlative but it was delicious and they let us try their pork green chile which was excellent. GREAT spot will come back next time in Boulder

Vegetable platter at Foolish Craig’s! Omg, the beets and Brussels were killer! Add the goat cheese with the beets, shazam, party in the mouth! The service was laid back and enjoyable! The local art was a nice touch throughout the place. The marmalade was missing from my plate. They were on it and we’re back with it in a flash! If ever in Boulder again the beets and brussels are worth coming back for!

This may be the single worst eating experience I’ve had. The food was bad, the restaurant is dirty, and the service is abysmal. Avoid at all costs. One star is too much to give them

This place was so delicious and fantastic. First of all, the atmosphere is so cool! The artwork gives the place a funky feel. The service was excellent. They made great recommendations and accommodated my one son’s request. I highly revolt he crepes. I got the Forgeddaboutit and it was so good. My sons got burgers, grilled cheese, BLT, and cheese fries. To quote my oldest«that was beyond delicious!»

I searched for«soccer bars» and this came up as #2. I walked when USMNT was playing in 15m. I asked if the match would be in the tele and the waitress said she wasn’t sure. American idol or some BS was on the tv. Fired!!!

One of my favorite places on Pearl street. Foolish Craig’s has an assortment of options on their menu from breakfast to burger to dynamic entrees. My sister and I ordered the hippy burger, chicken & goat cheese rissota, and french dip sliders. Everything we ate was really tasty and the portion size was large! The service here was quick and friendly and the waiter did a good job in helping us select our meals. They have decent happy hour specials and good local beer on tap. The best time to come here is for brunch, but I have been for lunch and dinner as well enjoyed it. Check them out!

Came for a late weekday lunch. Salad was tasty. The service was a little slow, but we enjoyed our food.

This is without a doubt one of my favorite places on Pearl street. The food is fantastic, the staff is funky fresh, and the ambience is a perfect mix of artsy and diner-y(they have Phil Lewis art on the wall — a definite plus). Brunch is a wonderful time to spend at FC’s, but don’t forget about the lunch and evening hours! They have an awesome happy hour(which is all evening on Sunday, btw) and regularly change their selections of beers. In my most humble — dare I say, Foolish — opinion, some awesome foods to check out here are the crepes(check out«The Foolish Craig»), the fried chicken benedict, and the albacore tuna sandwich. Although, if you’re feeling more in the mood for a light or cheap meal, you can certainly pinch a penny or two and navigate your way through some of the simpler offerings and sides. Regularly, I get a fresh fruit cup(which is relatively large and in charge) for only $ 2.95. As for happy hour, I have to say that FC’s serves some of the simplest(and cheapest) chicken tenders in town, and I would be remiss if I didn’t suggest the spinach artichoke dip. Delish. To top it off, you can grab an Upslope lager off the tap for $ 3.00!

Foolish Craig’s is so great for Dinner! The vegetable plate is amazing. Roasted beets, sweet potato cakes, Brussels sprouts and green beans.

My boyfriend ALWAYS drags me here and I’m not the biggest fan. There’s a few good things on the menu but that’s about it. One time his potatoes tasted like ash, as if they were cooked in gas or something. They were SO disgusting and after getting a second new side of potatoes after saying something to the server they tasted fine but it took two tries! Snooze or die…

If you don’t have tattoos or a nose ring, don’t plan on getting good service from this place.

I came here with my brother in law and we were very very hungry from hiking up Mount Green. We started with the chips, salsa, and guac. The salsa was excellent; it tasted very fresh. The guac was excellent as well. I ordered the hippie burger and he got the southwestern burger. They took some time, but it was well worth the wait. My burger was super juicy and cooked exactly how I asked, medium. I can’t describe how awesome it tasted! My brother in law thought the same of his. To top it off, the fries were amazing as well. They were fresh cut, not soggy, and had the perfect amount of salt. We were both stuffed. The service was great too. Our waters were always full and our server very attentive. I highly recommend coming here!

Foolish Craig’s is one of those under the radar, very Boulder vibe, home-feel brunch and lunch restaurants. Located conveniently on Pearl street, it’s the perfect brunch option before exploring Boulder! I ordered the Foolish Craig crêpe expecting the usual thin crêpe filled with various veggies and breakfast meats. Boy was I wrong! The waitress dropped off a plate LOADED with potatoes, red peppers, LOTS of bacon, and sautéed onions, with a thin, perfectly cooked crêpe serving as an envelope for all of it. My friend had the corned beef hash with eggs over easy and it looked phenomenal. Awesome service and we were seated right away. Highly recommend the almond milk latte as well!

What a great little place! Amidst all the hubbub of Pearl Street lies this little gem. A chalkboard sign sitting outside enticed my family and I in… And our party of was quickly seated. Diners, drive-ins and dives has been here, so we looked up those items first. Instead we picked different items, based on our servers favorites… Hippie Burger, the Reuben, salads, Huevos Rancheros. Everyone eating had nothing but glorious things to say… Phrases like: This is the best Reuben I’ve ever had. That burger was the best I’ve eaten in a long time. I can’t stop eating this salad! Believe me when I say this place is delicious, quirky and cozy. Go here, be hungry and enjoy!

If rating on food alone I’d probably give this place 3 stars, but their service is unbelievably bad. I’ve had two not so good experiences here in past year, so unfortunately it’s on my «do not fly list». First bad experience was not that big of a deal. Went with a friend, just two of us and we wanted to sit in a booth. There are signs that say booths are for 3 or more people. Since there were three empty booths we asked the hostess if we could sit in. She checked with the manager who said no. We decided to go somewhere else. Again not a huge deal, so I decided I’d give Craig’s another shot, how foolish of me. Second bad experience occurred when I ordered the tofu scramble no egg. It came with egg, I mentioned it to the waitress she apologized took it back. When she returned I could see someone had simply scrapped the eggs out the plate. There were little bits of egg left. I said something and waitress responded she didn’t see any eggs on the plate. I wasn’t going to argue, I simply put down the money for the scramble and left it uneaten. Will probably not be back. :-(

I wanted breakfast at 11a and wanted to eat at Snooze but there was a 35 min wait so I came over and there was no wait. Sweet! I ordered the Foolish Craig since after all crepes are their specialty. The thing was gigantic — probably good enough to feed 3 people! There was so much bacon. mm bacon! It was good but way too much! I asked for a box and took it home that day. I later heated it up and it was just ok this time. I’m guessing crepes aren’t that great for reheating. I wish I would’ve tried a dessert crêpe. Prices were fair and I was out of there in 30 minutes!

Tbh, I was a little disappointed, but only because I had such high expectations for this place after hearing that it had been featured on DnD. I got the chicken duxelle crêpe and a tiramisu crêpe cake. The portions are definitely substantial, so come hungry. The crêpe was stuffed with chicken, veggies, and creamy white sauce and came with sides of home fries and broccoli. It was decent, but not great. The crêpe was a little too thick, the chicken too dry, and the whole thing too salty. I’ve had better crepes for cheaper. The cake was similarly disappointing. It was literally layer upon layer of stacked crepes, slathered in chocolate syrup with very little coffee flavor. But to be fair, my standard of comparison was Lady M. The whole meal was $ 20, which I guess is fair. Overall, I left feeling underwhelmed and slightly sad. Perhaps I just didn’t go on a great day.

mmmm. I had the hummus cucumber sandwich here. It was really special to me, which means it was tasty. The bread was soft and the cucumber gives a nice crunch. A little heavy on the hummus… but that is perfectly fine for me. We sat down outside. It’s nice to be seated on Pearl Street because you get the sights and sounds. The service was a little distant, but that may be because we were rushed for time. My colleague’s coffee cup did remain full when asked if she wanted more.
