Alright, I grew up in the NJ/NYC area so I can say with confidence I know my delis. I also know chicken parm. Went to Deli Zone today which sells itself as an NYC deli and I saw on the menu«Chicken Cutlet Parmesan» and I think to myself that sounds awesome! Open sandwich to eat it annnnd it has chicken but farthest from a cutlet, i.e. no breading. That sauce and cheese were great but please make it an actual chicken cutlet! It would be ah-mazing! And it’s not just me, here’s the definition of a cutlet:
Please for the love of chicken parm use an actual chicken cutlet!

I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a BLT. It was pretty decent except for the bread. The bread was just off

Awesome Deli, specifically this location! While it can get a little busy at times, it’s definitely worth the wait. I’ve tried a variety of their subs ranging from breakfast to reubens, and everything in between. I have yet to be disappointed. They always come out fresh with quality ingredients and leave me feeling full and satisfied. Try the Ellis Island, it’s surprisingly delicious, even for non vegetarians!

Don’t forget they do breakfast! I stop in there a lot for breakfast burritos. The lunch line is always about 1⁄10th of what Snarfs is too.

Good for breakfast sandwiches but not that great when it comes to lunch. Seems like they just take the Sysco delivery and shake a little rude on it.

They usually taken at least an hour to get here and there are only 10 minutes away. but they do seem to usually follow instructions for substitutions, etc. I don’t recommend the pastrami meat it’s very rubbery not good quality hash browns were quite dry. I find it a shame that they don’t have good quality cheeses, just cheap American cheese. the bread was okay though. I wouldn’t come again unless desperate.

Terrible customer service. I placed an order for delivery and it took over two hours. When I called to cancel, they said they could not issue a refund and then they hung up on me. I called a second time and was hung up on again. I do not recommend it his place. Very unprofessional.

My first visit here in search of a good deli in Boulder… Sandwiches were okay and the potato salad tasty but the consistency of mashed potatoes… The staff was awful! No one was friendly in this place. It’s as though they were all standing around being annoyed to have to take your order and the guy at the register. Awful. I stood there waiting for my order and he said nothing the entire time. Never even made contact. He says my order and total I pay and look around for a pen. He says nothing. I find one and sign and say thank you and he turns around and takes the receipt to the back… Worst service ever! Not to mention the place could really use a good cleaning.

I would have to say that Deli Zone on Valmont has the worst service and rude people I have ever encountered at ANY restaurant. It seems like they hire the most rude New Yorkers they can find. Not to mention I found a long black hair in a breakfast burrito that I cut in half. I called and they basically told me to pound sand. I will never eat there, or recommend anyone eat there ever. Please teach your employees that customer service is an important aspect of any business.

I came here for a lunch a few weeks ago. I ordered the Guiliani and waited over 20 min to get it. They were fairly busy, but not packed by any means. The main problem was they didn’t have enough people working and the oven is too small. They toast almost all of their subs, but it didn’t seem like it could hold too many at one time and it caused a big back up. Also, the guys working seemed a bit frazled by the amount of orders and it looked unorganized for a bit. They got it under control though and I finally got my sub. The experience quickly improved from that point on as the food was delicious. I would for sure eat there again if it wasn’t busy.

Very good subs but the place needs major cleaning. The floors are dirty, the counters are dirty, the handle on the front door hasn’t been cleaned since Colorado became a state. There are cob webs and grime built up just about everywhere you look.

The BEST deli in Boulder! I’ve been a loyal fan since they opened in the early 90’s. Everything on the menu is great. If you like breakfast sandwiches, they have the best.

Solid deli with a cozy little kitchen at this location. The chain restaurant has about 9 – 10 locations. Seats here are limited and the waiting is cramped but it’s in an office suite after all. I think the sandwiches are definitely worth edging in to find a place and wait for your order. I had the french dip and everything was exactly how I like and expected it to be. The atmosphere is usually fast and exciting like you’d find in a bigger city like L.A. or N.Y. You order toward the back counter and pay at the door on your way out. Perfect for to-go orders. Hours are Mon-Fri 7:30am-8:00pm, Sat 8 – 6, Sun 9 – 5. Sandwiches for breakfast and lunch with choices from hot, cold and vege menus.

Today I revisited Deli Zone. Now their Turkey Reuben, which is perfectly done, is on their new-ish menu and is called the«Rachel». Items from their former menu that aren’t on the board anymore can still be requested as well, fyi… Same solid people working there, same excellent sandwiches, love the consistency and polite professional customer service. I shall keep returning. :o)

Every time I order from these guys they are super nice and willing to help a girl out. One time I was super hungover, couldn’t think due to hunger, and the only thing I could think of was Deli Zone. I think I said something like«I’m super hungover, super hungry, and can’t think. Please, just bring me something!» And they did, and it was good! Last night we called and by boyfriend asked if they would be willing to also bring us ice, as we are out and our car is dead. And they did! And it was good. We got the F train and the 42nd Street. Both were delicious!

This is one of the best sandwich places Denver or Boulder, and this one blows away the Denver location. The guys that works there know what’s up, They have far more choices than the Denver one and everything I have tried is great. This is my stop after squash, and since it’s right next to rally sport it is the obvious choice.

Wow! I can’t say that I’ve ever been blown away by a sandwich before my trip to Deli Zone. The Manhattan served hot with turkey, garlic spread and artichoke hearts was incredible. I had just dropped in to snag lunch as I was running some errands(Hop to It is conveniently next door). I will have to make my way over there more often…

Yum! Very satisfying reuben. And my husband will not shut up about«baby kongs» and their delicious addictiveness. Probably a five-star joint, but I’ll need to try a baby kong myself before deciding… Definitely worth checking out!
