Though in a strange shopping center and not your typical adorable little ice cream spot, the ice cream is great and the flavors are extensive. The two flavors per regular cup is also a positive. Some man cut us off, which was strange, and it took quite a while to get our ice cream, but all and all, it was a good spot.

I know this is an ice cream and gelato place, but the lemonade is wonderful. If your walking down Pearl Street feeling a little parched, this is the place to go. I did not try the frozen treats, yet, but the lemonade was great. It had the perfect balance of sour and sweet. I rarely finish a drink while I am walking around, but I made the mistake of sharing this one with my kid so I did not get every last drop. I will get my own next time and it will be worth every penny!

This review is for the two Glacier carts on the Pearl St. Mall serving creamy treats until 9PM. Food: The one closer to the west side only serves gelato and sports a higher price of $ 3.75 for a small. The eastern cart serves ice cream with a small going for $ 3.25. My sis and I really were torn. Do we get the insanely expensive gelato with the crazy delicious sounding flavors(mint stracciatella, Nutella, etc.) or go for the ice cream? The girl at the gelato only cart told us it was healthier than ice cream and thus more expensive. Considering the ingredients in gelato, I’d say this is entirely not true. My sass bought the Nutella anyway. I had a sample and was blown away by the creaminess. Being the cheapo I usually am, I opted for the less expensive black raspberry ice cream( ). This stuff melts on your tongue with a light creaminess that doesn’t mask the flavor. Delicious! Atmosphere: These carts are pretty dirty looking, but I’m sure a lot of people overlook this aspect as they are conveniently located on a major tourist trap. Service: They make the waffles for the cones on site. Entertaining and tasty. The employees will graciously give generous samples for the indecisive. Synopsis: This stuff is expensive, but if you want a creamy treat, look no further. A taste of glacier cures dessert cravings in an instant.
