Love their take on meatless dishes. I ate the meatball sandwich last night and it was delicious(and still yummy warmed today for lunch since it is very filling and I had half left over). My daughter felt it was too spicy and the staff graciously made her another sandwich free of charge and threw in fries too. She had the chicken sandwich and it was so good!!! Best chicken substitute we have ever had!

Excellent service. Staff made great recs for us visitors. Menu is 100% plant based — WIN! I wish they had a location here in SF!

Whether you are vegan or not(this place is all vegan food!) the food here is great. I’ve had the Baja tacos, chili cheese fries, and buffalo wings so far and all were very savory and tastey. The service is exceptional, lots of positive energy. Because of the healthy, yet accessible, vegan food you leave a meal feeling good and energized. The lavender lemonade is worth trying too…

How rude do you have to be!!! I’m not vegan and I thank you for informing me that even your«meat» is a vegan alternative but when I ask about real meat don’t be rude when you answer and then walk away. NEVER going to step foot in this place again!!!

I decided to pop in and try this place for the first time yesterday and I was not disappointed. Although, they need to be a little more clear that there food is all vegan/vegetarian, they don’t make this very obvious on the menu. I ordered the portobello sausage burger expecting real sausage, but ended up loving it anyway! The first few bites I didn’t even realize that it was veggie sausage, they do a great job capturing all the sausage flavor and making it with… plants? Good job native foods! Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a heathy/clean place to eat! The food leaves you feeling full but not in a heavy way! Wonderful place! I will be back!

I have to say that my recent visits to Native Foods have not been so awesome. I used to love Native Foods! I first went in Chicago, and then I was thrilled to learn there is one in Boulder. I’m not a vegan, but I am allergic to dairy and I don’t eat commercial meat. Anyway, the last few times the food has not been as good as it used to be. For example, the nachos were cold, the protein crunchy like it had been under a heat lamp all day. Plus the cashier was obviously stoned out of her mind and fairly useless. Sad day. I’ll probably give it one more try…

Love, love, love this place. It is fastish food that is delicious and nutritious. It is a pure vegan restaurant. I am vegetarian and have taken many carnivores to Native Foods and they too are pleased and find the food to be delicious. I love the variety and the great use of a variety of veggies. I would be super sad if this restaurant did not exist in Boulder!

We love this place! We’re 3 vegetarians in Boulder. We’re regulars here. Great, filling, tasty food. We bring non veggie friends regularly too. Everyone finds great delicious offerings. My 11 year old says, «yummy and tasty»

We decided to have lunch here based on the reviews and we were glad we did. I had the Portobello«sausage» burger with a side of potato salad. My son had the Native Scorpion Burger and seasoned fries. My hubby had the Native Oklahoma Classic with a side of potato salad. We all really enjoyed our meal. Everything tasted really good. It’s nice to eat out and get something that tastes good while also eating healthy, high quality food that is vegan. I so wish we had one of these closer to home. We will definitely eat here again when in the area!

The native chicken bites are weird. Other than that, I’ve only ingested good food Native Foods, a little salty from time to time, but good. Native Foods is on the pricier side($ 10 – 12) for fast-ish food, but a great option for when you don’t have time to cook up your own meal, and your Vegan/Vegetarian. Also, get the sweet potato fries! They’re grape.

I love this chain! Wish they had more locations. Maybe one day they’ll be as common as Olive Garden restaurants. I can dream, can’t I?

Casual, reasonably priced, clean, good. Just accidentally found this place walking around 29th street. I was feeling the dread of another heavy greasy meal and happened to see their menu. There are so many options for any amount of hunger. I had the nachos with guacamole and am completely stuffed without feeling the heaviness of other food options. Very happy to have found this place and will be bringing the family next time we’re looking for a more healthful option. Don’t however confuse meat free for low fat or fat free because I think I got plenty in the nachos. That being said, plant fat over animal is my choice. I look forward to my return.

So excited to find this place in Boulder. Everything is vegan and so delicious! I’ve really enjoyed the bowls and the burgers. There’s a lot of food in those bowls! I really appreciate all their drink options too, plenty of non-sugary beverages to choose from.

I’ve been to Native foods various times with friends; both vegan and non vegan! Each time I’m amazed at how the tempeh, seitan, vegan bacon, and tofu is transformed into delicious dishes that honestly are sometimes better than the real thing! I ordered the tacos this time. Loaded with guac and salsa and filled with perfectly cooked tempeh; I was in heaven! My boyfriend loved the Bangkok curry and the tofu steak that came along with it. I can’t stress enough how literally EVERYTHING on the menu is fresh, tasty, healthy, and filling. Also the house made watermelon juice doesn’t hurt :) Head to Native Foods for a super relaxed and friendly atmosphere with vegan and vegetarian(and carnivore!) friendly options. You won’t be disappointed!

This place is a gem! I never imagined that vegan could be so tasty, and I’ve been so pleased with all my visits here. The curry bowl, meatball bowl, and gyro bowl are a few of my favs. I also recommend their soups. All in all, I have nothing but great things to say. I look forward to being a regular here!

I love me some Native Foods. I generally order their sandwiches/burgers/hand-helds and I am always pleased. Their bowls are also good, but when I come here I want something I can’t easily recreate at home, with the sauces and crispy ‘bacon’. The daily specials are a nice touch — a free side with the daily rotating sandwich. Since I’ve been here a bunch and tried most things, I often go for the special, knowing I can get a free side of the amazing sweet potato fries! Have you tried these things? Lightly fried and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar, yes please! There is always plenty of seating, the employees are friendly and the menu is extensive. Patio seating is lover-ly when the weather’s good. The drinks are a bit expensive, but there is a nice selection of beers and the fresh lemonades/teas are addictive! They also have these charity days once a month where you get a free dessert with a purchase and a percent of sales goes to a local cause. It’s a nice little addition to an already great place. I can’t wait for them to open more locations across the country — I now live in New England and there is no Native Foods nearby.

I really like Native Foods… but the last time I was there, they did not have lavender lemonade on tap and I felt utterly betrayed. Watermelon fresca is not a suitable alternative! The menu is solid and sometimes reliable, though it has gone through an awful lot of changes lately. From salads to snacks to sandwiches, everything is good. Now that they work with Hungry Buffs, I have ordered Native Foods as a catering option for small meetings. Not everyone was pleased when they realized their chicken sandwich contains no chicken… but I had this crazy expectation that folks would actually read the menu. Alas! There have been some misses on occasion where sandwiches just weren’t as good as they once were. Honestly, it ebbs and flows. But definitely sign up for their rewards card — you’ll revel in its greatness when you’re drowning in food on your birthday. And my best advice: Order a side of ranch with your fries. Really, you’ll thank me later.

I totally dig this place. Heaping portions of healthy, conscious, vegan food with tons of flavor. I got the Ensalada Azteca, I highly recommend it to any avocado enthusiasts like myself. I hear the PB parfait is popular but they were out when I got there. Instead I tried the coffee cheesecake. It was pretty yummy. It’s not always easy to find a vegan cheesecake. There’s plenty of seating and the environment is enjoyable. The bathrooms are super clean too. They have a variety of meat alternative options and an abundance of refreshment options. I recommend the strawberry lemonade

Awesome place with great food and great staff. First time I went here I got the Native Nachos. The second-27th time I also ordered the Nachos. They are amazing. Grab em as a group appetizer or a main meal, you wont be disappointed. Second, sweet potato fries. No words in the lexicon of human language could describe these starched goodies with chipotle dipping sauce. Give them a try. Good selection of drinks and beer too, and the coffee is good for a cup as well. Desserts are great, cant go wrong with any of the parfaits they put out. Overall a great place with healthy options and a great ambiance. Staff always is friendly and helpful too, which makes it all the better.

When I stopped eating chicken the thing I missed most was a good crispy chicken sandwich with ranch. Native Foods Café has answered my prayers and delivered an entirely vegan chicken sandwich to my anxiously awaiting tastebuds. And boy, was it delicious. I have to admit I was a little confused when I walked in. It wasn’t entirely apparent at first that this restaurant served only vegan food(I’m not used to seeing the words Chicken, Meatball, or Corned Beef on vegan menus). But once I realized that all of their meats were, in fact, meat free, I was in heaven. The food here is SPECTACULAR. And coming from someone who just stopped eating meat a couple months ago, that is a huge compliment. I was so impressed I almost want to go back for every single meal. The service was equally phenomenal. Even though this is a ‘modified-fast-food order-and-then-sit-down’ style place, I felt like the service was better than most traditional sit-down restaurants. If I haven’t already convinced you to give Native Foods a try, I should also mention that they have some of THEBEST french fries I have ever had. You have to try this place.
