I ordered food for the Boulder office and arrived here only to realize I had placed the order at the Denver location. The manager on duty decided to make me the order again and never charged me again. This is an amazing business to have bailed me out of my own stupidity

Great little place for healthier food choices. Quick and pleasant service, not exactly cheap but priced reasonably for what you get. I love their BBQ chicken pizza. And I love that they serve Boylan soda! They also put nutritional info on your receipt, which is pretty cool for those who count calories and such.

I went here for dinner on Monday. I really liked the clean and modern atmosphere of the place. I ordered half of the arugula sandwich. I saw lots of people with the full salads and they looked huge! I figured it would be the same case with the sandwiches. It wasn’t. My sandwich was very good but also very tiny. A little disappointing. Other than that I enjoyed my experience and would be back if I was in the area looking for a place to eat.

I love Mod Market — the food is so yummy! But I wish it was a little faster. Also, this chick with the lip ring cashiering couldn’t have seemed less excited to serve me. Wah wah.

I do really like this place. It has always been Modmarket to me and though it is going through a name transition and is now Modern Market, I’ll probably always think of it the old way. It was a catchier name. But so be it, it was a legal settlement issue with a similarly named quick casual, so it’s a done deal. I really like the salads. I like the seasonal offerings as well as the classics. Consistency can occasionally be an issue. Ordering by size and level of dressing is not always reliable. I often order the smaller size and usually it is just fine but occasionally comes out really tiny, like a side, not a smaller entrée. I like my dressing light, which controls the fat and salt content but occasionally it is just dripping. It tastes great but I feel so guilty. They have nice sandwiches and now some nice plates too. I have never tried the pizza, but I probably should as they always look and smell good at adjoining tables. Speaking of tables, they are VERY close together, so don’t expect any conversation at all to be private. And in Boulder, that may mean hearing and seeing things from student neighbors you might not want to witness. This location is always very cold too. No matter the season, you can shiver through your meal. The staff is friendly, I love the quality of the tableware, NOPLASTIC! And they are being much more assertive about clearing and cleaning tables themselves now. It used to be pretty obnoxious to deal with the dirty piles right next to the drink machine etc. And sitting down to unwiped tables. Cleanliness is much improved when an employee clears and I am thankful. I will be happy to continue to come here regularly, no matter the name. It is a good value and menu. I wish I could give them 4+ stars.

Shocking for such a well reviewed place. We went on a sunday morning. Coffee pot empty, milk pot empty. Ask one of the guys working there and he told us it wasn’t his job. Order has missing sausages … Same guy told us it wasn’t rung up … So in other words«screw you».

I had the margherita(M’rita) pizza and it was very lacking. Maybe my fault, since this probably isn’t the place you should go if you want a really good pizza. Very uneven placing of mozzarella and even the sauce was missing on a few slices, while heaped on other slices. There were maybe three pieces of basil on the entire pizza. I do like their dough, but this pizza was very poorly made. Definitely go with a salad or sandwich.

Not only do I eat here pretty often, but I also worked here when it had first opened. There are great options for any type of diet. They are quick and it always tastes good. They have good quality fountain drinks and meats and some of the salad toppings are organic. I wish for the price that everything was organic but thats rare to find. I mostly just like how its a great place to get a super healthy meal on the quick!

I really like the concept of Modmarket, but in terms of flavor profiles, there is a lot of room for improvement. None of their side options appeal to me. My usual go-to is s/mashed potatoes — but theirs just isn’t good. It lacks flavor and just isn’t satisfying. I usually order the flank steak or argula pizza, which both are fantastic — but they could really up their game on side items. I like the fact that they don’t offer the generic soda options a lot though — that’s a nice touch. Overall, a nice, wholesome meal for a decent price. The interior is hipster if you care about that. The food comes quickly and is dependable in flavor.

I really wanted to like this place based on all the good recommendations I had heard, but time and time again I left disappointed. Their food is always inconsistent and the same meal will taste different every time. For example, the Basil Chicken sandwich sometimes comes cold and sometimes comes hot, sometimes with dressing and sometimes without. The guy who hand me my food is always rude — one time he forget the chips with the sandwich and one time they didn’t wrap up my order that I placed to go at the counter, and both times he gave me attitude when I politely asked to correct the mistake. The wait is always long, even when there seem to be few people there. If they are going to charge an arm and a leg for their food, I expect excellent customer service and consistent food every time. I have given them multiple chances but can no longer pay their ridiculous prices for a disappointing experience.

GF pizza. We shared a BBQ chicken with green and red onions. It was delicious. John liked the crust and I liked the BBQ sauce and chicken. Loved that I could get a GT’s Kombucha tea for $ 2.40.

Wow, this place is spot on with excellent service, great food, healthy choices, focused staff, and it’s perfectly priced for the $$. I eat here at least 3 times a week these days. Go try it, it’s awesome! The only complaint I have is that the lemons that are left out by the drinks get used and tossed back into the same container where the fresh lemons are supposed to be; I’d recommend a different system on that front. I’d also put the lids on the same side as the other amenities, it makes no sense to have to go to the other side then back to the other when people are trying to get ice and fill their drinks.

Came back a second time — has the Thai coconut salad with chicken and peanut-mango dressing(again). SOGOOD. I would eat this all the time if we had a location remotely near me on the east coast!

Mod Market is my first stop when I go home to Boulder! I crave their farmer salad that has mixed greens, roasted corn, grapes, feta, slivered almonds, and a champagne vinaigrette. Between their salads, sandwiches, plates, and pizzas I’ve never had anything that I didn’t love and want to go back the next day to get again. I can’t say enough great things about the food and they print nutrition facts on your receipt which is always nice to see. Brunch on the weekends is also awesome! Seats fill up quickly at lunchtime and it can be a little loud but the food is unbeatable and worth the noise. I also love that they serve Boylan Sodas!

Only just moved to Boulder and my husband and I have already eaten here multiple times. The salads, sandwiches, and soups are all REALLY good! Plus, you get 10% off if you go there again within a week, which is nice. The staff was very friendly. They also list an entire breakdown of nutrition info for their menu, which made my husband very pleased as he always gets whatever has the most protein, hahaha.

I eat breakfast out a lot and this is one of the best in Boulder. My Market Scramble was part of my rock-n-roll fantasy. Even their coffee is palatable, and that’s saying a lot in curiously-coffee depraved Boulder. ModMarket once again hits a homerun with food quality. But can’t give 5 stars due to: * Ordered at counter, was given a ceramic coffee cup(hey, why the hell can’t Starbucks do that?) and then asked«Is that for here or to go?» * Coffee I dispensed from self-serve urn was almost cold.(This was quickly taken care of upon request.) * The self-serve area is splashed with pools of water, kinda like an old roommate of mine always left the kitchen. Icky. * Tables are not cleaned regularly. In fact, during my one hour here(which saw a peak of four customers eating here, including myself) I never saw this happen. * Butter knife simply will not rest on food plate, leaving only choice to flop it onto table. Don’t really want to use it again after its been on the not-clean(see above) table.

Excellent salads, fast service! Good affordable place for a cheap and quick lunch. I like the option to get a half or whole portion. Usually coupons on receipt. Minus one star for less than spotless bathroom with sink that sprayed all over(though the doing area was clean), location(strip mall), and parking.

Wonderful Paleo options! Mod market has two dishes that I absolutely love. The Chicken Breast plate, I get this with rosemary sweet potato and arugula salad. My other favorite it the flatirons salad. I’ve been to many locations many times and I am always more then satisfied!

Modmarket has great, fresh food but is a little expensive. I recommend getting a half salad/soup/pizza/sandwich with another item so you can try everything. The salads are phenomenal, especially the Flatiron. The service here is also really good, but if you come between 12 – 1PM on a weekday, be prepared to wait a little bit.

I love Modmarket with all of my heart. Modmarket is: — delicious. You will not be disappointed! — efficient. You will get your food fairly quickly(even during rush hours)! — reasonably priced. Sure, the food isn’t as cheap as McDonalds, but it’s definitely not unreasonable for what you get — a hearty meal that leaves your tastebuds begging for more. Plus, you can get 10% off your order if you bring your receipt back within a week. #win Please note: If you’re planning on doing take-out for the Thai Chicken Sandwich, do check your bag to make sure that the Peanut Mango dressing is in there; otherwise, you’ll have a dry sandwich!

Fantastic food, ambiance, and service. I’ll definitely be back! Service: Casual style, order at counter and find your own seat. Super happy and friendly employees! Ambiance: Clean, laid back, modern café style. Food: Super high quality ingredients, simply made and delicious! I had the Chipole egg breakfast sandwich and it was amazing. A nice kick of spice too! I opted for the multigrain bread and it didn’t disappoint, crunchy crust, soft chewy center. Perk: I got to witness a pizza making class for kids while I was here. The kids were having a great time and the guy teaching them was happy and engaging. What a cute idea!

After going several times to the Modmarket in Longmont, DH and I decided to come check out this location while waiting for a movie to start … First, I love how the menus have the nutritional information on them, makes it easy to decide how much I really want to shove in my mouth at one time and of course the descriptions make everything sound great. Second, I enjoy the seasonal rotation items — the pairings always sound so yummy. Third, I like that this location is so close to the theater and shopping — no excuses not to come eat healthy! Negatives were few and non-significant… first, it was loud(same complaint as the Longmont location — I get that it’s part of the«clean» décor, but it is loud) and second the bathroom was not labeled real well when you are sitting at the front(that said, just walk to the back — it’s not hard to find once you get to the end of the room). Also a bit confusing about how to bus trays since the trashcans were hidden behind the soda area but again that’s being fussy. So if you are interested in good healthy food for not tooo expensive and are in the mall area, go check it out!
