The shop, like the cakes look very cute, and I could see how my daughter would love one(topped with a giant bright colored flower for example) for her birthday. I had the red velvet and the chocolate chocolate chip(the second one their best seller, I was told when I visited the place) bundtlets. Both where big enough to share, and very moist. The lady behind the counter was friendly and stressed the fact that if they don’t have the size or flavor you want, they’ll make you one in 15⁄20 minutes. Wow! My problem is that these cakes are more of less made from a mix, and quite expensive in that case(especially if you buy a bigger one). I can see going to Nothing Bundt Cake for a special occasion, like a birthday party or baby shower, but I don’t think I can justify making a special trip to buy a cake mostly made from a mix. Yes, the place is cute, but I am afraid this is not enough, and you don’t have the option to eat inside, too bad.

This little store opened last year and seems to be a franchise that is limited to company flavors and styles. The basic bundt cakes come in a few different sizes and I like that they have a small individual one which is enough to serve the two of us a single evening of dessert. Direct portion control, no leftovers like a homemade full size cake. The flavors are OK but obviously made with some sort of company pre-made mix with some additional fresh ingredients. I would prefer the deep chocolate without chips but they cannot alter the recipe. The lemon, raspberry and carrot cakes are tasty and these flavors, along with some others, rotate. The staff is friendly but never seem very busy at the counter so I have no idea how long this store will stay open. I do occasionally see customers placing party or special occasion orders so maybe I am not appreciating the size of the business. The location and parking are both quite convenient and I usually stop in when I am out of other ideas for a small desert to share at home.

I went in for my first time today and the woman working there was so kind. She showed me all the cakes they offer and gave me a free sample of their carrot cake. I ended up getting the pumpkin spice, lemon, and chocolate chocolate chip for my family to sample. The cakes taste delicious and the icing is the best part! yum!

Certain aspects of NBC are good, others not so good, as follows: Flavor: 4 stars Ingredients: 2 stars Price: 2 stars Service: 5 stars Sweetie and I got 5 bundlets in different flavors to get a good sense of the various offerings: red velvet, lemon raspberry, praline, cinnamon, and carrot. They all tasted good. The cream cheese frosting was very nice– great cream cheese flavor without being too teeth-achingly sweet like some places. The red velvet had a nice density and flavor. Sweetie loved the carrot cake(I couldn’t get my fork in edgewise on that one!). The praline, while decent, had very little actual praline in it. A few little pieces of pecan were about it, and they didn’t seem to be praline-d. The cinnamon was fine, as was the lemon raspberry, neither having the nice moist density of the velvet and carrot. But, overall, we enjoyed the bundlets. One main problem. Artificially(and naturally) flavored. These are not homemade, all-real-ingredient cakes. Aside from the red velvet food coloring(which is understandable, I don’t expect them to use beet extract), the others were artificially flavored(and colored?) as well. No need whatsoever for this. If all you make are cakes, make them with good ingredients. And, while the cakes taste good, they taste only somewhat better then traditional grocery store or mix cakes. Good and enjoyable, but still in that grocery store, non-gourmet way. For non-natural cakes, they are fairly expensive. The bundlets were $ 3.99 each. Each is, essentially, the size of a medium muffin. Not a large muffin, like you get at most coffee shops, but a medium muffin. I completely understand that a business needs to make money, that with a dedicated storefront, there is quite a lot of overhead. But $ 3.99 is still a little too expensive, except as a periodic splurge, at least in my humble opinion and budget. The service is very nice. The woman behind the counter was friendly and helpful without being too gushy or over-familiar. Very professional. She is the kind of employee(owner?) who would cause me to return to the store more for the purpose of supporting the place than acquiring cake. **Overall, I would suggest that you drop by, try a few bundlets(especially the red velvet and carrot), and draw your own conclusions while you lap at the cream cheese frosting ;-)

Amazingly moist and flavorful cakes. I am a cake snob and I have never found a cake that’s better than home-baked. Problem solved. This place is a gem!!!

I had no idea a bakery specific to bundt cakes existed but I am glad I do now. I’ve had the chocolate chocolate chip, the red velvet & a white chocolate lemon… or something close to that but the lemon was perfect not overwhelming at all. One was in a large size & a couple in the bundlet size. All were unbelievably moist and even though I would first think there wasn’t enough icing there usually was and even if there’s not enough the cake without a doubt stands on its own. I haven’t done any specialty ordering but just stopping in for last minute party favors or desserts for dinner has not dissapointed and I plan to continue«testing» their cakes as frequently as possible!

I have tried 3 flavors so far and I can’t wait to go back for more! The peanut butter is delicious! I know it takes a great talent to make cakes as moist as the cakes from here! I even had an extra one that I kept in the frig for a few days and it was just as moist! Definitely a favorite in this house!

I am fortunate enough to have experienced their chains in Texas, so driving in Boulder and seeing the sign made my heart leap for joy. The next time I was near there and they were open, I convinced hubby to go with. We got the lemon bundtlet(mini bundts, maybe enough for two people each) and the chocolate chocolate chip. Are lemon immediately. I love their cream cheese icing. Delicious. Also had a sampler of their white chocolate raspberry, but the white chocolate over sweetens it in my opinion. I ate the c2chip 3 days after purchase and it was as fresh as the one I consumed immediately. Neither of those were over sweet and I can’t wait to go back again. PS whoo-hoo! 50th review!

We stopped by this new store after enjoying Red Robin(good location) and all I can say is thank goodness I had room left in my belly because this store is delicious! The ladies working were very friendly and helpful. We even got to taste different samples. The white rasp. chocolate sample was awesome and my individual lemon was amazing and perfectly baked! Definitely worth stopping by to check them out. I will for sure be back! Easy to get to and lots of parking options

Absolutely to die for! I don’t know how they do it, but this is hands down the best cake I have ever had! Perfect balance of everything you look for in a cake. Yum!
