Delicious empanadas. I tried the steak picante, chicken picante, spinach, and cheese&onion. My favorite by far is the cheese and onion, but they’re all so good! The steak picante in particular is super spicy. The chimichurri sauce is amazing, and the other two salsas are very good. The person at the counter was also really helpful. Since it was our first time, she described the size of the empanadas(«about three» for a meal, and four was certainly filling), the various options, and the salsa choices. Highly recommended. We’ll be back, I’m sure!

It’s been a couple years since I last came here. It was not my choice, but my daughter’s. We had just rolled into town, having spent 4 days driving from Olympia, WA, after cleaing out my daughter’s apartment there to move back home, and we were very hungry. We were driving a U-Haul truck, so parking was not easy, but we found a space large enough, eventually. It was about 2 pm when we walked in, and even at that hour, the place was busy. Not so much when we first walked in, but a line of people came in right after us, and the inside tables were full. There was a soccer game blasting on the TV, so I could barely hear anything inside, other than that. I went back outside and was seriously thinking of going to Great Harvest Bread Co. instead. Having never been to Rincon, I had no idea what to order, and I’m ashamed to say my brain was so tired that I couldn’t even remember what empanadas were. I let my daughter order for me instead. That was the smartest move. The empanads were delicious and very reasonable in price. Turned out I did know what they were, and I really liked their’s a lot. It’s not the easiest of places to find, but it’s worth it.

There’s nothing to say that others haven’t. You have to come here if you are in town. If you’ve never had empanadas then now is the time!

Yummy spicy steak and spicy ground beef empanadas and terere small, casual and cozy place with each empanada costing close to 4 bucks. The staff are friendly… All in all a good experience. I’m definitely going to be frequenting this place in the future!

Yum. Best empanadas I have had in a very very long time. I went during lunch and even though they were very very busy I got my food quickly.

Absolutely the BEST empanadas I have ever had. They are so fresh and baked in a wood grilled oven. We got the Tradicional(steak) Pollo(chicken) Empanadas OMG they are so good. We went yesterday and I want to go again today. It’s hard to find a place that has fresh, good quality food. This is the place, you have to try it. I WILL be going back. The staff is very nice, you order, take a number and they bring it out to you. They place to go orders as well but I don’t know how you could wait to eat them.

Mother of God… I don’t even know what an Empanada is, but I had so many it made me sick with joy. DONOTMISSTHISPLACE. It’s small, packed and awkward, but the service is spot on and the food allowed me to find Jesus.

Wow. Living in Miami for 3 years I was spoiled with delicious empanadas. The empanadas at Ricon were better than most places in south Florida. Get the pollo picante it was so delicious and the portions are generous. I ordered 3 for $ 11 and it hit the spot. 2 would suffice but you would not be overdoing it with 3. I could’ve had 5 with how good they tasted but I was there on my lunch break and had client meetings in the afternoon so I actually needed to get some work done. If you are in the area do yourself a favor and get to this place. You can eat a burger and fries any day so try something new, delicious, and amazing! Well done. I will be back!

While the line was long, it was definitely worth the wait! The food was absolutely delicious –delicate, flaky crust with delicious fillings. Plus the beer selection was also top. We ordered three empandas each. While that amount was more than filling, I wish I had been able to try all of them. Service was nice and very quick. It was a great afternoon to eat out on the patio. I reccommend this place to anyone looking for some tasty eats in Boulder.

Hello, my name is MaryBeth and it’s been 5 days since my last Rincon Argentino empanada. I’m pretty sure that the friendly folks at Rincon are adding a little something special to their secret spice blends that is creating a severe addictive reaction in me. I can’t stay away. I plan meetings in that area that end at noon just so I can have lunch at Rincon. I order large quantities to «share» at home. I make friends meet me there for lunch even though there is a perfectly good café half a mile from the office. Oh my. I have a problem. Favorites are the gaucho and the corn. I resisted trying the corn for several weeks(mainly because I was so addicted to the gaucho), but while getting 3 dozen to go(yes, 3 dozen…) I asked the nice woman behind the counter what her favorite flavor was, and… corn! There is something culinarily seductive about this particular blend of caramelized onions and creamy corn that has me hooked. The venue is a bit small for the winter crowds, but patrons are pretty good about moving on shortly after they’ve eaten so others might enjoy a seat. Ordering at the counter certainly helps keep table turnover high. Anyone want to meet me there tomorrow for lunch? ;-)

Hot. Fresh. Tasty. Reasonable price for Boulder. Very cozy and warm environment. Colorful walls and when I was there they had Primera Argentina football on TV. My favorite are their spicy steak or ground beef empanadas… They wouldn’t tell me what was in the seasoning, but it was great. They also have non meat options. The Caprese and mushroom empanadas are very good. 3 empanadas is a meal, each is $ 3.40. For Boulder, not bad at all. Only downside is the location… Quiet strip mall. They would make an absolute killing if they set up shop somewhere with more foot traffic. I live in Foco otherwise I’d go more often. A+ spot.

There is no question that Rincon Argentino is making fresh, handmade food. Empanadas are made right in front of you! I liked the vibe of this place. It’s very relaxed and a little bit of a self-service feel: you order at a counter and get your own drinks. It made for a quick easy snack stop when we were hungry at 9:30pm. I only tried the empanadas, and beef picante is what I always use to compare. The dough was a little more dense and less flaky then I was use to and they use much chunkier beef than some empanadas, but the flavors were great. Their chimichuri sauce was perfect. Definitely worth a stop if you are in Boulder.

These empanadas are made to order so there is no question to their freshness. They are homemade in front of you with a wide array of flavors to choose from. I am sucker for good empanadas and this place nails it. I get the impression most, if not all, the employees are Argentine. I like the casual atmosphere where you order at the counter and sit where you want. If you’re looking for mate or alfajores, they have plenty of options as well!

I heart empanadas! I was recently introduced to Rincon Argentino, and proceeded to eat here twice this week. With luck, I’ll match that frequency next week. These empanadas are perfectly prepared, with flaky crust and yummy fillings. I really like the ground beef version(a #3), which will shock no one that knows me. You can get three different dipping sauces for your empanada, from mild to «my tongue is on fire». Everyone who works here is very nice and happy to explain the magic that is an empanada.

Authentic Argentine empanadas. I chose a #1, 9 and 14. 9 is probably not too traditional. Packed full of cheese and a little ham. It was sooo good though. 1 is the traditional filling and it’s just great. Spicy but not too spicy. Lots of filling, but it is $ 3.49. 14 is wild mushrooms and is delicious. I will be back for more. The curtado though was terrible. Made in a home Kitchenaid pod machine. One sip was as far as I got. And expensive at $ 3.49. Easily the most expensive curtado in town. If you’re going to put the names of coffee drinks on your menu, you need to be able to actually make them. So this is a big disappointment. Minus 2 stars sorry. Take it off the menu. I took one more sip to confirm. My god it’s awful. How a coffee can be made this bitter is beyond me. No wifi neither. They have their own network, but they don’t give out the password. Toilets are clean. If not for the curtado, I could give 5 stars, but this coffee is so terrible. It’s not just below average, it’s entirely undrinkable. P

Surprisingly beautiful and cozy environment, friendly service and the food is really good. It «feels» authentic. Granted I’ve never been to Argentina, but this is definitely not Mexican food. The empanadas seemed handmade, we’re not soggy or greasy(a problem I usually find with empanadas) and were filled with tasty, spicy fillings. Probably the best empanadas I’ve ever had. The terere is a dink made of mate(a kind of tea popular in South America) orange juice, mint and something else I think. Weird? Yes. But strangely likable. They also have a surprisingly nice patio area. I’ll definitely be back.

An AMAZING spot for empanadas. Really a must visit place if you are in Boulder. The ambiance is awesome, the food is delicious and the prices are great. All in all, this was one of my favorite spots that we ate at when we were visiting Boulder!

This place is soooo adorable, and the food is great as well. The quaint little shop has very warm, homey feel, and is decked out in primary colors. The empanadas fit the theme — very prettily made and prime comfort food. I’ll admit I pigged out, but as it is my last week in Colorado, I realized I probably won’t be coming here again in a long, long time and wanted to try everything. I had the hongos(mushroom), spicy chicken chorizo, the classic(steak, jalapeños, potato), and the spinach empanadas. I also had an alfajore and a cup of dulce de leche icecream. The spinach was alright, not super flavorful but Instagram-worthy in appearance. The classic was also just okay — well made, but the steak was kind of dry. The chicken chorizo was my second favorite, really spicy and flavorful. The hongos was the best one, juicy, earthy mushrooms encased by a golden, flaky crust. I dipped them in the spiciest salsa they had, which was delightfully hot. The alfajore was pretty yummy, but the dulce de leche icecream blew me away. This stuff is purely sinful. It’s basically half ice cream, half DDL. Some of the dulce hardened at the bottom, creating this delicious, chewy caramel mass. Definitely get the icecream, but I recommend sharing. Less than half already had me KO’d. This place is definitely worth a try. It’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face!

I love me some empanadas so when I found this place on Unilocal,I had to go. Empanadas are under $ 4 each. We ordered four and a drink for less than $ 18. The portions are not humongous so whoever said that must be joking! You can get about three or four bites! We had the gaucho, pollo de chorizo, pollo picante and the hongos. My fave was the hongos — you have to try it if you like mushrooms! We also ordered the medium salsa and that was good too.

Wow. Absolutely amazing. With years of travel in central and South America I’m totally blown away by these empanadas. Delicate, flakey crust, delicious flavor profiles in the fillings — quite easily the best empanadas in Colorado. No officially on my all time favorite list and I look forward to the next time I can make an excuse to come by. Excellent.
