Pretty expensive, and the tea was only slightly better than average. Found at Boulder’s Farmers Market. $ 5 for a very small container. Simply not that good.

Really nice atmosphere and good quiet location in downtown Boulder. Large selection of teas. Most people will be very happy hear. Lots of flavored green tea options. They have branched out to selling some of their combinations to local establishments and at whole foods. Their Red Rocks Tea which is a combination of Roobios, Vanilla, and Almonds is incredibly good. They also have created a kind of teapot that automatically rotates your tea leaves out of the water to prevent over-steeping. The owners are very creative and it shows in everything they do. If you are an ultra tea nerd then you might be somewhat disappointed at some of their weirder teas, but I think this is mostly related to aging due to low demand. Classy place to take a date.

Ok, now I’m a bit more educated on what GOOD tea really tastes like. The pricing here is definitely worth what you get! I recently won some tea and the steeping cup(using right now!!) and it is GREAT! Talking with the staff there is wonderful too. I’m now also cooking and marinating with tea! I’m a regular at the Tea Spot now! Gotta love the Roobios!

Gourmet tea at its best! I see complaints about price and time-but loose leaf tea is a speciality and needs to be properly brewed. Plus, do you really want to drink old, dusty bagged teas, that may or may not have lots of chemicals in the paper covering the flavorless bags? I didn’t think so. Warm and welcoming interior; I imagine afternoon tea with the girls, or snuggling down with a good book. Try one of the new tea inspired hand-crafted chocolates! I recommend the mint one! My tea was delicious-a coconut flavor. Steeped to perfection and the perfect drink to warm my hands up on one of the first chilly days in november. Plus, you can buy all their tins of tea and steep mugs! I just saw that The Tea Spots steeping mug was rated as a top gift in Self Magazine. Can’t wait to get mine!

Nicely decorated pleasant place with good selection of tea and my fave Conscious Coffee. Gourmet chocolates and lots of unique tea supplies, too. Welcoming & friendly service. Since parking in downtown Boulder gets more & more aversive for me all the time, this will not be a go-to destination for me, but I will definitely return. I like the service, the beverages, and the comfy couch area.

I know it’s a tea house, but three people and fifteen minutes for one Americano? Really? Oh, the grinder is broken? You could tell a gal that at the start of the ordeal and not the end. Way to use those philosophy degrees lads!

This is my favorite place to study. Usually quiet with some light music on. Great tea and other delicious treats(I recommend the truffles). Very nice and helpful staff.

The tea spot serves… tea…ta’da! Now, as a self-proclaimed tea connoisseur(jesus h tap-dancing christ that’s annoying to spell) I think I have a pretty good tongue for tea as it were. Anyway, the tea spot has some decent selection at pretty steep prices the more I think about it. $ 4 – 5 for some leaves and herbs in some hot water? Really? I don’t get. a scone or something with it? The chai I got was interesting… unsweetened, correct temperature, but not incredibly strong. Hm… But what the tea spot lacks in correct pricing, it makes up for with ambiance: it really is a nice place to sit back and have a cup o’ tea with a friend or by yourself to study a bit. It is just a shame that pretentious people have co-opted the tea spot for their own courting purposes. Alas. Better tea elsewhere, like the Tea House. Or… Twinnings at home? Seriously yo… Twinnings Oolong tea with an equal portion of pure green tea is what I am talking about and keeps me bumping, as it will you my friend.

What a cute little corner for tea and coffee! I only had a moment to pop my head in and grab a coffee to go, but the staff was friendly and the dcor of the shop is sleek and sophisticated… yet very zen. The service wasn’t quick, but I get the sense that this is the type of place where you are supposed to sit down and enjoy your beverage. The quasi-curtain that divides the pastry case and cashier/payment area from the seating area is a nice touch that definitely makes the Tea Spot seem like the kind of place where you could sit and relax for a while. I’m just disappointed I didn’t have more time!

The Tea Spot is a relative newcomer to the Boulder tea scene, but has quickly emerged as one of the city’s best. It’s got the best environment of any tea place outside of the Dushanbe Tea House, in addition to having Wi-Fi. I was most recently there two weeks ago for a Sunday afternoon tea class. Another star in the Tea Spot’s favor is location. It’s right downtown, only a block or so off Pearl Street, and it’s part of the fancy new One Boulder Plaza, home of the ice rink in the winter. It’s a great place to enjoy something cool on the outside patio in the summer, or to warm up with something sweet in the winter.

A nice place to do some studying(free wi-fi) or catch-up with friends. On this latest visit, it felt too much like a library(no music & lots of studious folks) and it was a bit uncomforatble for us to converse as we felt we were disturbing people. It’s a small place without a whole lot of seating. The prime location is their huge comfy couch by the front window. The tea is tasty(I had Mango Tango) though I wish they had a larger selection. We ordered right away but it took about 10 minutes to actually get our pot of tea which seemed a a bit long considering we were the only ones waiting for our orders and the compontents actually necessary to make tea.(hot water + dry tea, oughta take about 1 minute.) They don’t appear to serve dim sum anymore which is very sad, though they do continue to offer a variety of pretty good chocolates.
