McDonald’s

The guy taking orders at the drive thru was a dxxk. The speakers we completely audible, but his prepubescent voice sounded like he had hairy marbles in his mouth. After I had to ask him twice what he said, he started talking really slow like I was an idiot. Turns out he made a comment about how apples go good with kids meals… yeahhh, aaaaand? So I said, «Sure, we’ll get apples.» Then instead of politely asking if I wanted sauce, his bipolar tone turned flippant as if I was inconveniencing him. He just said, annoyingly, «sauce.» I said no thanks then said «That’s it?» The order wrapped with him completely rubbing me wrong. Lucky it was a nice girl taking my money because I would have said something. To top it off, I opened the bag for my daughter and there was yogurt instead of apples. She can’t have yogurt.

BEST chicken nuggets and french fries I’ve ever had was at this McDonald’s. Good job, Bountiful! The chicken nuggets were really crispy. I know, I know… I have heard that the crispier they are, the longer they’ve stayed in the warmer. But I don’t care because I loved the level of crispiness. The fries were crispy too and well salted. I enjoyed my meal so much and made a point to go on Unilocal and write a positive on this McDonald’s. Never thought I would ever write a review for this popular fast food chain, but I felt like I needed to praise the fine employees in the kitchen that made sure my nuggets and fries came out perfectly crispy. Thanks, Bountiful!

AWFUL!!! My husband and I promised to take our son to McDonalds after a photography session because he was so great. Where do I start… the guy behind the counter could barely speak to us (nervous I guess). He couldn’t count our change back to us without assistance from his «trainer.» There were flies all over the place. Then the mother of all horrible experiences happened… wait for it… I stepped in poop in the play area. Yes I said poop and not of the canine variety. It was left in plain site by a small human. It was a very traumatizing experience to say the least. Will we go back… no, not ever! Like never!

Of the local McD’s, this one is my kids’ favorite. Granted, we haven’t been to Centerville since the remodel and haven’t been to the ~NSL location for a while, but the kids just love the playplace here. It’s usually very clean and even when it’s crowded with kids, there’s still plenty of room to run and crawl.
Food at McD’s is pretty standard anywhere. Never had any problems at this location with service or quality.

As my other McDonald’s reviews state, I only go for the beverages. This location does not disappoint.
My usual is a Diet Coke with extra ice, but I also love their smoothies, shakes and lattes.
The playland is kept pretty darn clean, especially considering how many kids come in and out of there. The drive thru is the most efficient I’ve been through, but expect a longer wait at lunch. Their dining area is updated and stylish, a far cry from the old days.
