Wendy’s

As you can tell from a quick scan of Wendy’s restaurants in the area, this one ranks pretty low. Give them some credit — they work hard to achieve the ranking. For some reason this location has some of the most peculiar staff I’ve seen at any fast food chain. I now go just for the entertainment, and I have never been disappointed.
Lately, in the evenings, there’s a guy with a big head of curly hair. He leans on the register like a bouncer at a club. While I was waiting for my (incomplete) order I caught him staring at me. At first I thought I was mistaken, but then I looked back over and sure enough — just staring. Not vacant, drifted off with his eyes in one direction, but actively staring. I mean, I can’t really blame him; the amount of visual man-​candy I provide is almost too much for anyone to adequately take in. I asked him «Can I help you?» complete with the tone of «ah, what the hell buddy?»
He just said «no» and continued to stare. I said «well, you’re kind of creeping me out.» «Oh» he shrugged, broke his mind-​melding gaze and pulled some fries out of the hopper. The best part was I had to then tell him «I think that’s my order.» (There weren’t a lot of folks in line — kind of late.) He turned around, picked up the bag and handed it to me with «here.»
While we were making a soul-​touching connection, the (likely) meth-​dealing manager (really skinny with a Ginger Baker-​quality beard and manic motions) is having a discussion with himself while wrapping burgers «I don’t know. How am I supposed to do this when I could be doing other things. Tell me how. I know… I don’t know.» I thought he was conversing with someone was just out of view, but no… just him and his imaginary work pal, Methy.
Luckily a bright and capable girl was coming around the corner from the back when I noticed I was missing the salad dressing and «gourmet croutons.» Double-​fun, another customer was in need for entertainment and stepped forward to speak with the creepy bouncer. The snappy girl got me what I needed and exchanged verbal and physical cues that let me know she was a normal human. I’ve not seen her since. I hope she’s okay.

I will never go to this Wendy’s again. I was on my lunch and I thought I would grab something fast and thought Wendy’s would be a good option so i drove to Wendy’s and the drive through was crazy so I thought it would be faster to go in WRONG… When I walked in there was a lot of people waiting in line they only had one person up front who was an older lady and there she was trying to take orders, give orders and put orders together it was crazy and there was like 10 people by the drive through. Really you people couldn’t help out front. I get you guys get busy and stuff but cmon one person up front and everyone in the back and it’s lunch rush … Never again. I was late because I had to wait for like no joke 25 minutes. Ridiculous

South Davis County Wendy’s are trash. Went to this location last night and wanted to cry. Food all over the place. The cooking/​prep area was a mess. Food and mess all over the floor. The manager was standing by the entrance smoking and complaining about her co-​workers. Dave Thomas is rolling in his grave.

I don’t know if this is the correct Wendy’s in bountiful across from slim olsens gas station and taco time, guy named cody, Latino looking guy was very kind, polite and had a warm smile on his face. Car in front of us was. An angry impatient ass. Thank you cody for your great service! Give him a raise promotion

One of the worst Wendy’s facilities at which I’ve ever eaten. Dirty, unkept, trash & food on floor. Apears to just be BAD management, training & supervision. Cold atmosphere. No music. Light bulbs burned out. I didn’t dare use restroom. Food was normal but we were scared to think about it too much…
Affecting my thinking about chain overall, if they don’t fix this one soon!

I’ve always had fast service, and the food is as good as any other Wendys location. I’d recommend this place.

Granted, I love Wendy’s food, but this is by far the worst location around.
My last 3 experiences there they have messed up my very simple orders, the worst time was when I went through the drive thru at 10:30 PM (so surely not their busiest time) and ordered a junior hamburger, jr cheeseburger, and a crispy chicken sandwich, all value menu items. I waited in line for 40 MINUTES for 3 items, and they still screwed up my order.
The location is also terrible because it’s on a very busy corner, with two inlets to the drive thru and a cramped parking lot. Basically if you even enter the lot you have no chance of getting out unless you go through the drive thru or attempt to turn around.
This spot is closest to my home, but from now on I’ll make the drive to Centerville.

You could not give me money to visit this Wendy’s location again in the future. A recent visit was the final straw where it took more than 15 minutes to get two 6 pice nuggets, a small fry, and a #1 combo. The food was done and ready but the staff was more concerned with the drive-​thru and ignored the inside customers. Witnessed one customer go behind the counter to grab his burger, which had been ready for more than 5 minutes, when he got tired of waiting. Ridiculous!
In previous visits, when we have ordered any special requests at the drive-​thru (no cheese, no tomatoes, etc) they are never right! This location is crap and needs new management or to close entirely!

This location is AWFUL! It is supposed to be a fast food restaurant. It took 25 minutes for us to get our food in the drive thru. The fries had no salt on them and the burgers were cold and cheese wasn’t melted. I would NOT recommend this Wendy’s to anyone!

Probably the worst Wendy’s I’ve been to. No one cares about speed of service, including shift manager. They rarely get the order correct. It might be better to use drive thru but just avoid if possible

Very slowww… waited in drive thru for over 20 min and never got to order board. Had 4 car behind us, made them all back up so we could leave. I will never visit this location again.

It was one of those times when the children are complaining of hunger and you ignore the Unilocal ratings. I’m sorry Unilocal.I should’ve listened to you. Will you forgive me?
Service was slower than molasses. Confusing and I had to repeat myself to the cashier more than twice. Fries were cold as was the rest of the food. The «manager» lady was very bossy, short (not physically), and rude to her workers in front of the customers. Poor managerial etiquette in my books.

I have a very basic level of expectations when it comes to fast food at lunch. Warm sandwhich, hot fries, cold drink. 0 for 3 here. This is the second time I have had that experience — I won’t be going back for a third.

I’ve never had hot fries from here, therefore this might be the worst fast food in Bountiful. What more is there?

I hate to say it but Wendy’s has jumped the Shark. I haven’t had a good meal at a Wendy’s in a long time. Tonight set me off. Fries were soggy dark brown and cold my dog wouldn’t even eat them and I kid you not he will eat ANYTHING! Chicken wrap and burger were cold. Ended up throwing the whole meal away and pouring a bowl of cereal. This wendys put the nail in the coffin. Poor Dave is probably rolling in his grave knowing how terrible his daughter has failed as CEO. Ive taken surveys and called the hotline however I feel the GM’s of this company are just as lazy as the employees themselves. Boo Sad! all this company has going for them these days is the hot red head in the commercials.

I can’t give fast food more than 2 stars so keep that in mind. As far as Wendy’s goes all I can say is FROSTY! and now they have new versions of the frosty like a root beer float or apple caramel parfait.
