We wanted steak for dinner and saw good reviews on Unilocal,so gave this place a try. We were very pleased: my husband had a ribeye and I had a skirt steak, my sister had salmon. Everything was seasoned just right and cooked perfectly to our requests. Attentive service, pleasant and not too loud music allowing for good conversation. Free valet parking.

We dined with friends and each dinner was amazing. We started with EMPANADAS and MUSHROOMSINGARLICSAUCE. Some of the best we have had in PBC. The salmon risotto, spinach ravioli, GNOCCHI and LINGUINI were all well above expectations. Not lovers of fast food, makes the relaxed comfortable setting perfect. Free valet parking is available as well as the public garage. Service was exceptional and with a smile from Joanne. Some how we managed to complete the evening with home made flan sprinkled with coconut. Highly recommend this bistro to anyone.

The meal was great, the service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was perfect. We sat outside by the softly lit trees and with a light breeze.

My friend and I decided to finally try this place. We ordered take out and ordered the Don Che meat special that came with 2 sides, the french fries and the grilled veggies. We also ordered a tiramisu. The flavor and aroma of the meats were great but once you put it in your mouth, it was extremely fatty. I literally had to spit out some pieces! I have to agree with some of the other reviews, the quality of the meat is not the best. They also forgot our tiramisu. I did call to tell them and they did manage to bring it up to us.(We live in the bldg.) The tiramisu was okay, nothing special. The place was pretty slow, only one table was occupied when we got there to pick up our food. I will not be eating here again, but at least i gave it a shot. My experience is as honest as it gets.

This restaurant SUCKS!!! I really don’t care on paying whatever $$ as long as its a delicious food. In this case I regret even going to eat a salad a simple salad tasted nasty!!! I can say mc Donald’s salad is 100°% way better!!! crutons were old!!! Don’t waste your money and time at this restaurant. They need to find a better chef!!!

Just had a fine meal at this great Argentinian steakhouse. Brought my dad and his girlfriend and we all had the skirt steak with chimichurri. The steak was great and they have a wonderful guitar player which gave the place A festive atmosphere. The owners were great and you could tell they really care about their restaurant. This is the second time I’ve been there and definitely would go again. Park in the next door apartment building for free. A great evening.

Prices are high for the quality, location is awkward, and service was slow. The food quality was very low at this restaurant. Our group had a good menu sample given we ordered their grill mix, tilapia, ravioli, spaghetti alfredo and kid fries and chicken nuggets. The best part of the meal was the kids meal. The meat was luke warm and unseasoned, the morcilla was runny and not appetizing, the sweet breads and chicken were very rubbery with way too much charr, and also luke warm. The Portuguese tilapia was overcooked and terrible. With some cheap tasting olives and overbooked vegetables in a red sauce that just did not do the fish any favors. I won’t go on, but I wish I had gone to chillis or ruby Tuesdays. And I don’t like those places generally. Price– Paid $ 160 for 6 people

A group of friends and I were curious to check out this new Argentinian-Italian restaurant but I was honestly pretty disappointed about the food. The caprese salad was okay, save the olives that came with it. They were super watery canned black olives. The vegetable medley were just heated frozen vegetables and the mashed potatoes weren’t that good either. Garlic eggplant was marginal. The sangria and empanadas were really good however, and the live music was a nice touch too. The staff was friendly and atmosphere was nice.

We love eating here, the owner and his wife are genuine and the ambiance is fun and relaxing. The sangria is delicious and we love the risotto and gnocchi in particular for dinner. Great for dining in or takeout and very convenient for Casa Costa residents! Highly recommend this restaurant, great for the area.

Had dinner here with another couple last night. Didn’t know what to expect from an Argentine/Italian restaurant. As I have mentioned in previous posts, I grew up with a 100% Italian mom so I do not usually eat Italian out and I am unfamiliar with Argentinian food. All I can say is eat here for both. We started with the Argentine provolone and the bread with the chimichurri sauce, eggplant and salsa toppers. The flavors were strong & wonderful. Not for someone who prefers bland, mild food. Everything was so fresh, too. The men ordered the skirt steak with the chimichurri sauce, my friend had the chicken Milanese Parmesan, for me it was spinach cannelloni with pink sauce. Everyone loved their meal. Steaks cooked to perfection, I could taste the fresh ingredients in my cannelloni but the biggest surprise for me was the red sauce on my friends chicken. It tasted like home. Still pleased with my find, I took my mom and daughter to Don Che for lunch today. Mom and I started with a white wine sangria that had just been freshly made. Definitely would recommend. Daughter had the gnocchi with white sauce. The gnocchi is made there, not the packaged stuff you find at other restaurants. The potato pasta was as creamy as the wonderful sauce it was served in. This dish is extreme comfort food. Mom had the perfectly prepared chicken Marsala being afraid to try the red sauce and I had spinach empanadas which were yummy. Had the waiter bring out a side of marinara and made my mom try it. And yes, it passed the Italian mom test. She took a spoon full, sat there a minute and then said ‘that’s good, I’m bringing your Aunts here.’ There is no higher accolade then that. And of course, this review would not be complete without complimenting the wonderful service. Quick, attentive and very friendly. We will be back often.

I arrived on a Tuesday night for a special dinner with my best friend who was visiting from California. With two sets of eyes, We had some difficulty finding the restaurant because it was dark, signage was minimal, and the turn in for the complimentary valet was narrow with lots of traffic behind me. Upon entering, we noticed high ceilings and 2 other tables dining. The place is not particularly intimate, & I can imagine that if it was a full house, it would be very noisy. We had found this restaurant through a $ 20 for $ 40 offer on A waitress in training stopped by our table to take our drink orders, followed by the waiter on duty, Ozzy. The co owner, Joanna, stopped by to say hello and help us with questions about the menu. At that point, we did not know she was an owner. After about 15 minutes(way too long), our non alcoholic drinks were delivered with four pieces of bread which we later learned is imported frozen from Argentina and baked to order. It had a very light center and crunchy exterior and was delicious. A small plate with eggplant, salsa, and chimichurri sauce in three little cups was delivered with the bread, butter on request. For starters we ordered a Caesar Salad for $ 8.95 which was enough for two. I thought the dressing was a little too sweet, not enough anchovy if any, and not the traditional Caesar dressing I was expecting. The croutons were small square commercial croutons which left crumbs all over the salad. In a later discussion with the chef owner, Romero, he did admit it was a shortcut he would eliminate and he would start to make fresh croutons in house. My best friend ordered the Caprese Salad also for $ 8.95. The tomatoes were deep red, and the fresh mozzarella cheese was excellent in taste but had a softer texture than I am used to. It was very good, but I would not order it again due to the soft cheese. That’s just a preference issue and not a quality issue. We ordered the full meat platter for $ 51.95 which we shared. We are too big guys, and could only eat half the platter. Perhaps we might have finished it without the starters, and the refills of the delicious bread. The meat platter came with two side items from a long list of starches and one choice of vegetables. That being said, we both ordered a baked potato. There’s no easy way to say this, but the baked potatoes we’re small and the skins were burned black from overcooking. An average person may have been put off, but we like them that way. We also asked for additional chimichurri sauce for the meat. The three different beef items we had we’re all very tender, and the chicken pieces were grilled to perfection. He uses choice or prime grade meat. Although the iced tea is brewed, it was not brewed fresh that day or for a day or two before that so I did send it back for water instead. I am promised that it will be made each day going forward. Ultimately we were the last diners. Romero and Joanna sat at the next table and we had an hour having a very pleasant conversation with them. We were invited for a tour of the kitchen which we found to be immaculate and in beautiful order. He is so proud, he even took us into his walk in fridge and freezer where we saw all of his pre made pastas. This leads to a fundamental dilemma. He called it fresh pasta which is not accurate. He can certainly call it homemade pasta, but once he freezes it, it can no longer be called fresh pasta. My friend and I fell in love with this couple and their passion for the business. Joanna is a proud veteran of our armed forces, and offers a 10% discount to military and veterans. Very classy. I look forward to revisiting to try other menu items. While touring the kitchen, I asked Romero for a taste of his homemade marinara sauce as I am Italian. It was quite good. Ozzy overheard Romero telling us how good the flan was. I responded that I was not a big fan of flan, and in an effort to change my mind, Ozzy brought out a tasting for the two of us. I would certainly order it next time. Because of the hospitality of the owners and the circumstance of the slow night, my friend and I had an outstanding evening. As great of a guy as Ozzy the server was, his service was clumsy and inattentive. I am sure it won’t happen again. The young waitress in training was very sweet and did her best. If you are in West Boynton or in Delray Beach, it is worth a slight extra drive.

My dad, sister and I ate here tonight and we really enjoyed our dinner. We shared a medium meat platter and it was terrific. The service was warm and welcoming and the prices are more than fair. Do not miss the desert of frozen ice fruit served in the shell. Just Devine. Go here prepared to have a wonderful time. Believe me you will.
