Very friendly but $ 17 for seafood delight was not worth it; small portion with a few shrimps and scallops, couldn’t find any lobster, worth about $ 7 and only came with white rice. Not worth the money, be careful.

Awesome. This restaurant is family owned and operated and the pride they take in their business shows. The lobby is nicely decorated and white glove spotlessly clean. One of the owners(Lisa) was at the front counter and was a pleasure to speak to. The food was fresh and delicious. And they have a salad option for a side dish which is an unexpected and welcome option from a Chinese restaurant. There is a small seating area if you wish to dine in and their takeout service was prompt and efficient. Thank you Lisa and team for a great lunch!

My first visit was a good one… The physical location has several sit down tables. So you can eat-in, carry out or have your food delivered. I decided to sit at a table and eat my dinner there. The place is spotless, very clean. The hostess was very gracious(and a smokin little hottie). I ordered the Mei Fun veggie plate and added fried tofu for an extra dollar. The amount of plated food was very large and exceeded my expectations. My only issue was that more noodles were given rather than veggies. So while the dish was delicious, it could have had more veggies than noodles. Oh, and no fortune cookie so I couldn’t play Lotto! LOL I do recommend the Great Wok.

Food is okay. Manager is VERY rude. She was more worried about taking orders than checking that they were correct. Also have ordered delivery and they ALWAYS forget something! Wish there was a place close by with better customer service.

Let me start by saying I really enjoy their food. That being said I will never order from this restaurant again! I attempted to place an order from them tonight and spoke to a very nice young lady, but before I could complete my order I was put on hold. This lasted for 5 minutes. I assumed we were disconnected so I called back. VERYSORRY I did that! Now I’m attempting to talk to the owner who keeps telling me I canceled order in past! I couldn’t believe the conversation I was trying to have! She just kept repeating this while I was telling her I have no idea what she’s talking about. Even if I did«Cancel order in past» so what ! They are suppose to be in a service industry and I wouldn’t call being yelled at about some supposed canceled order customer service. I feel sorry for the poor girl that was trying to take my order! She called back a short time later and apologized for the owner and asked if I would still like to place my order. Good for her! That’s customer service. My reply was never again…

This is the second time we ordered from great walk. Thought I would try something different and order great wok special soup for $ 6.99. It was to have shrimp chicken roast pork and assorted vegetables and wontons. It was a watery broth with the raw vegetables thrown in at the last minute… bad! The pork eggroll was mediocre. The pork fried rice had no egg in it and was a little undercooked. We also ordered shrimp and broccoli and that also was very tasteless. We won’t be back

The shrimp roll was more like a shredded cabbage roll and far too doughy. Couldn’t find any egg in the fried rice. Garlic sauce was just a bland brown sauce and peppers were undercooked. Will not go back to Great Wok

We ordered take out tonight based on Unilocal reviews, & once again, were happy with our choice. We ordered mixed Won Ton/Egg Drop Soup, Cold Sesame Noodles, Spring Rolls, Mongolian Beef, & Chicken & Eggplant in Garlic Sauce. EVERYTHING was fabulous except the Spring Rolls. They were crispy, but not very flavorful. The beef & chicken were supremely tender & perfectly seasoned with great sauces both with some heat. Food was packed so well that they thought to separate the cold & hot foods. Food was ready when we got there for pick up. We got«small» portions, they gave us large portions for a small price. The cold sesame noodles were very good too. Having lived in New York city, & now Philadelphia, we are accustomed to excellent Chinese, & we were so pleasantly surprised. Very fresh foods, well prepared, good portions, fast service — and the person answering the phone spoke English very well!!! — always a plus when ordering. Even the fortune cookies were flavorful. Be aware that this is NOT an eat-in restaurant! Take out only. And they do it well.

We were looking for a new local Chineese restaraunt, and decided to try Great Wok. We are so glad we did. The food was great! The chicken and beef were extremely tender! They are also very honest and ethical. They forgot to put an item in our bag, and tried calling me 6 times(my phone was on silent). I went to pick up my phone to call them, and they were calling me again, they were very apologetic, and quickly delivered it to my house! This is our new go to place for delicious Chineese food! Thank yu Great Wok!!!

The food from this place was amazing I ordered shrimp with garlic sauce, crab ragoon and fried wonton. It came with pork fried rice and an eggroll. The service was very friendly. Will definitely order from this place again.

I am always hesitant to give a poor review to a ‘family’ restaurant. because I know it must be very difficult to ‘make it work’ and I don’t want to take money from someone’s pocket. That being said… I also feel a sort of ‘responsibility’ to share my experience. I live 3 minutes from this place and really, really wish it was great… in the interest of convenience. In fact, for that reason I have given it more chances than I probably should have. I use ‘General Tso’s Chicken’ as my ‘reference dish’ anytime I visit a new Chinese restaurant. Each of the three times I ordered this dish I have found it to be void of chicken. Instead of using chunks of chicken, they use dumplings that have only wee shreds of chicken inside. When I say ‘wee shreds’, this is a generous statement. Out of all the Chinese restaurants I have frequented across the states, I have only encountered this one other time which was up in NH near a tourist area. If the flavor was rich and good I might even overlook the lack of meat… but I find the flavor to be very ‘off’. By ‘off’, I mean unpleasantly peculiar. I have always tossed it in the trash after a few disappointing bites. Now spring rolls… well, I love spring rolls, egg rolls, lumpia… anything like that and I am easy to please… but again, I have not yet brought myself to finish these. And this is coming from a guy that will eat the boxed frozen eggrolls at Costco… so my standard isn’t really that high. I just don’t understand two things. How can this be called ‘gourmet’… and how could other folk have thought it tasted good? They must have gone only on the good days. and I must have gone only on the bad days. For me, three strikes and you are out.

We just wanted some good Chinese food. Coming from the Detroit area where there are 100s of great oriental restaraunts. We went to Great Wok @ I’m not even exaggerating when I say it was the Absolute Worst Chinese I’ve ever had. From the tasteless egg roll, the slimy egg drop soup and while we were trying to be optimistic about the main course(my gut feeling was to get up and leave after the soup) the garlic chicken was just as Disappointing. Never again

This was my first time eating at Great Wok. The owners were very friendly and assisted me in selecting my meal. The food was prepared quickly while I waited. The food was fresh, not greasy, and thoroughly prepared. The price was decent for the amount of food given. I would definitely try this place again.

Love this place for delivery! They always get it right too… this place blows away all of the other Chinese takeouts, they may be a bit costlier, but you get what you pay for, and its worth it.

Great food! Great delivery time. Now the only reason I have given(4) stars is based in pricing. I feel that for Chinese good delivery it is way over priced. However the the food is very good and the delivery guy is on point.

I really wanted to like this place since it was recommended by several people. I was looking for delicious fried rice, but I didn’t find it here. The vegetable fried rice was tasteless. The general tso tofu my husband ordered wasn’t worth saving for lunch the next day. Neither was my fried rice. On a good note, the two spring rolls were crispy, hot, & tasty. Another positive was that the food was delivered piping hot. The person who took my order, Max, was very polite and competent. We most likely won’t order from this restaurant again. I prefer the fried rice and other items from Dragon Star on Lake Worth Rd just east of the turnpike

Clearly the best neighborhood Chinese takeout/delivery place in Boynton Beach. The food is expertly prepared and excellent. The owners are most accommodating and the delivery people are extremely nice. We order from Great Wok at least twice a week and have never been disappointed. The best hot and sour soup around. Every dish we have ordered has always been superb. I highly recommend getting take out or delivery from this place.

I’ve been going here since 2002. The food is consistently good. This is a smallish takeout place that does have a couple of tables. I’ve never had anything bad here, but I would tend to get simple Cantonese food.

They get two stars because the food was hot and was food. Otherwise it would be one. Beyond that — the fried rice was orange(?), and was terrible. The honey garlic chicken was bland, couldn’t even smell it when I opened the container. The egg roll was a frozen model, red inside with very thick coating. Again, almost tasteless. The soup was pretty much gloop. Urgh. The owner was there, looked in charge. Why they can’t do decent food, I have no idea.
