My go to sushi spot in the Boynton/​Delray area. Great casual atmosphere, quick service, and always the most delicious sushi! A good choice if you’re looking for a local place away from the ave. Try them once and I promise you’ll become regular.

Their sashimi pizza is to die for. I get it every time I come here. So far this is my only favorite sushi joint in Southern Florida. Sashimi is always fresh and rolls are delicious!!!

I finally decided to walk in and venture into this quiet plaza resturaunt. I saw the sign on the road heading to the beach. I loved it, because I caught them right at happy hour and my serving was perfect. Clean look, fresh taste, delicious! I came on a Sunday, business was slow but the service was good. If I ever crave a sushi run I know I can turn here during happy hour for delicious simple rolls

I was pretty disappointed in visiting this restaurant. I came for lunch and ordered a sashimi box which was supposed to have 2 types of rolls (California and salmon skin) but upon bring out my order I was told they didn’t have any salmon skin so they gave me a whole California. Also the sashimi was not very good. The service was also slow because of a printer problem. I usually wouldn’t mind the service being slow but because the food disappointed me I was pretty unsatisfied.

I had my start on sushi at Sushi Jo because the friend who introduced us was instructed that I be taken to the sushi place with the freshest and best sushi. It did not disappoint! I continue to go years later and enjoy their many rolls.
Last night I tried one of the cooked rolls. It was delicious! The fish on top of the Volcano Roll was flaky and flavorful. We had edamame as an appetizer and chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was great!

I have been to a lot of sushi places but Sushi Jo is by far the best I have had in South Florida. The fish is always fresh and the service is excellent. It never seems to be too crowded and I always leave their feeling satisfied. Writing this review makes me want to go there right now for sushi but I do not believe they are open at 9:45 in the morning. Guess I’ll have to wait until later.

I go to the Sushi Joe in Jupiter every time I’m in the area. Love it! Generous, creative rolls, good staff. There’s a great happy hour menu with reduced prices on select wines, rolls and apps some nights.

This is my favorite sushi restaurant in South Florida. I was recommended to try this place when they only had one location on Belvedere back in 2004 by a coworker. All I ever remember him saying was «You have to get the release roll!» and now I find my self saying the same!
I frequent the Boynton Beach location and it has a small, intimate setting. I have had the same waitress every time and she is always friendly and sweet. As for the food, I usually get some assortment of the release roll, Hawaiian roll, Havana roll and/​or sex on the beach roll. I have had their sashimi pizza and it was fantastic! I think Sushi Jo sets a high bar for the creativity and flavor mixture of rolls, beyond the usuals like JB and rainbow, that many sushi joints lack.
One special night I went with my friends using a Living Social voucher, and at the end of the meal we were presented with a piece of chocolate cake, compliments of Living Social! I have to say, I would have never tried chocolate cake at a sushi restaurant, but I am glad Living Social showed me the way! It was so delicious, I would highly recommend this for a special occasion and it was big enough to share between three people.

Went here over a month ago because my friend bought a groupon and was very disappointed. Not only did the sushi lack in flavor but it is ridiculously expensive, with most rolls being around $ 15. Honestly, everything on that menu is expensive, not just the rolls.
My friend had another groupon so I decided I would try it out again. Again, Sushi Jo disappointed and this time the sushi was even worse and had no flavor in the slightest. The bill, for 3 rolls, 1 hand roll, 2 beers, and a seaweed salad, was $ 57.
I was talking to a girlfriend who also went there in the past and she said the same thing. Expensive and lacking in flavor. Do not go here if you are in the mood for good tasting sushi at a reasonable price!

I’ve eaten here a few times, but tonight the portion seemed quite small (especially considering just one of the rolls was $ 22.00). We ordered four rolls (for two of us): 4 river, Volcano, Bangkok baby, and Rainbow. Between the two of us, the food was GONE in no more than five minutes.
Good food— not GREAT tonight.
That said, it was presented nicely and the service was fast.

The service is terrible. Went there on a Saturday evening with a few friends to celebrate one of their birthdays and the service was the worst ever. Rude, disrespectful and very non professional. We arrived there 45 minutes before closing and they proceeded to clean the floors, moving the tables and chairs around very loudly, the smell of bleach and the servers forgot half of our order and could not wait to take our dishes away so that we could leave. If you can put of with any of this, the sushi is not so great either. sorry for such a bad review, but I have never had such a bad experience anywhere.

I was looking for a really good sushi bar, being that my boyfriend does not like sushi at all, I usually go to RA sushi, but wanted to go somewhere closer. It’s very small, there are about 7 tables inside as well as seating at the bar and about 3 tables outside. It was quaint and romantic. We had the steamed dumplings as an appetizer and we ordered 4 rolls. One of the rolls was a shrimp tempura, for him. I had a large warm sake, with green tea. All in all service was excellent food was super fresh, and check came to about $ 45.00. I glad to say that my boyfriend enjoyed it! The next day we went back for lunch !! Very good sushi !!!

Tried this one via Groupon. It’s a small, intimate place in a strip mall. The first thing we noticed was a fishy smell. Yes, I know it’s a sushi joint, but fishy isn’t what you want when you’re expecting fresh fish. The service was prompt and attentive and they were accommodating to our very particular requests. We had to wait a bit because we wanted brown rice, but overall, everything was very nice. Not the best we’ve ever had, but then we’re spoiled when it comes to fresh sushi at Sake in Hollywood. This would be a decent middle of the road recommendation.

I’m not a sushi eater, so I can’t really comment personally on how good the sushi is here. My friends on the other hand are avid sushi eaters, and absolutely love this place.
The sushi chef there used to be extremely good (I hear he moved on) and he actually had a specialty dish that was warm and sweet, that even this non-​sushi lover… loved.
