Sams Club is my all time favorite wholesale club store. I shop here at least once every week for some item or another. I have compared prices with other Wholesale Clubs and based on the items I need Sams club comes out on top for great pricing. I occasionally buy their store brand Member’s Mark of toilet tissue and paper towel which is cheaper and of very good quality when compared to other top known brands. They charge a reasonable price to join the club and from time to time they run promotions in-store or on websites like Groupon where one can get deep discounts for the membership and also get a free item. I have the Sams Club Plus card it cost right now $ 100 annually to join but I think it is so worth it. There are always special in-store promotions discounting prices specifically for Plus member. This tier of membership has paid for itself over and over again for me. Plus you get an extra card that can be given to another person so they can use the club as well. Idea: split the price of the membership with the other person and you both will benefit. The Regular and Business membership cost $ 45 but it does not offer all the great benefits as the Plus membership. They offer great deals on their cakes and a low price for their Rotisserie chicken of only $ 5 and it is always big and juicy much bigger than other grocery store places. I buy those when I don’t feel like cooking at home. If you shop in bulks for your family wholesale shopping is the way to go at Sams Club.

Sam’s Club is worth the price of membership simply for the 5 — 10 cent savings per gallon on gas and access to near wholesale prices on tobacco products. Don’t expect service with a smile here, this place strictly exists to service large quantities of people very quickly… and they are mostly successful in doing so. The longest wait you will have is if you get stuck behind a convenience store owner buying stock for their store. Try the café. Their pizza is pretty good and hotdogs are big and meaty. The café is super cheap in price as well. Sometimes the gas station can get super packed. They really need to double the number of pumps on site to handle peak time demand.

It’s worth it to pay for a membership, even if you only use it for gas. The gas station is hardly ever full, unlike Cotsco, which always has a 3 – 4 car wait every time I pass by. The store itself is always clean and the employees are extremely friendly and helpful. If you go during peak hours, the lines can get pretty long but it moves quick.

I shop here at least 2 – 3 times a week for work. Service is great sometime the lines are long but overall I love shopping here.

I have been coming to this Sam’s Club for years! Anytime I am in town visiting my parents I always ask them to bring me here. I go crazy over the bulk discounts, especially in the skin and body care section– best prices available for razors, deodorant and lotion! The food is also of great quality. I love all of the little samples they offer, and I especially like their produce section. I recently bought some of the best strawberries I’ve had in a long time here. Great prices on Hass Avocados too– 6 for $ 4.78. Oh and I will mention that when I was younger and I drank soda, I use to get meals from their little café all the time. I really liked the $ 1.50 hot dog with a soda deal and the icees. Their berries and ice cream mix is pretty good too.

Worst location ever. Awful to get in/out of. Horrible customer service. Definitely not impressed and certainly won’t ever renew my membership there! I needed to make a simple return and they made it so complicated.

I use the pharmacy as they are a lot less expensive than CVS but with that you lose the competent employees. The pharmacist is great but the staff are terrible! I have my scripts on auto refill yet every month they call and ask if I want refilled. Seriously?! I would not have set up auto refill if I want to talk to them every month.

This is one of the smaller SAMS Clubs i have been too. The inventory is definitely smaller than most SAMS and they seem to move the inventory around a lot here. They should have set spaces where most items go one day something will be on one end of the store the next it will be on the other. The staff here is also not very helpful and are rude on top of that. We will most likely go to Costco once our membership is over I am very disappointed in this SAMS club, I wish it was a lot better. I may try other SAMS in the area and maybe that will help me change my mind but as of now I am not happy with this SAMS.

Don’t visit this location. Jump back on 75 and go to the Big Bend location. The Brandon location is dirty, they have the worst customer service including the managers. They gave me the hardest time over pizza and told me that the other location would get into trouble for doing that(making the pizza half and half). I too am going back to Costco based on my experience from this dirty unfriendly store. I really wanted to give them a fourth of a star. Go to the Big Bend location if you have too, please.

I have been a Sams business member for many years and always valued my membership. 2 advantages of being a Sams’ Business member are, you are able to get into the store at 7am and another biggie is they have a feature where you fax in what you want and they will pull it for you and place it on a cart at front of the store. All you need to do it confirm what was pulled compared to what you ordered and pay and away you go. Now getting to this store in particular, which unfortunately has its faults. First up, parking is not ample enough for a store of this volume. Secondly the store itself is not as well organized as other Sams in the area, there seems to be stock being moved around and a lot of times just left in the aisles. Third, this store is not the cleanest either, food areas should be especially clean and they are not. Fourth and this seems to be an issue with Sams in general, price tags. They are always missing the price tag of the item you want of course. And most of the all, there is never enough cashiers available especially when either its a close to a holiday and closing time, I have spent more time waiting to check out than shopping. My best advice is if your able to, avoid this location I if I am in the area go to the Riverview store on Big Bend Road, trust me its a world of difference.

By and large, this is a great place to shop, but be warned that they don’t accept Visa credit cards! The staff here always seems to be in an exceptionally good mood and is very friendly and helpful. I had walked past a woman handing out samples just as she ran out, but even though I told her it was no big deal, she still came and found me at checkout fifteen minutes later with a freshly cooked sample… even though she knew I wasn’t buying it. I was stunned and impressed. I had jokingly made a comment to the cashier that the company must be real good at bribing its employees to smile, but he actually frankly and honestly assured me that while they are encouraged to «promote a cheerful atmosphere», that the store really just was a great place to work and they were taken very good care of. That’s something I personally value as a shopper… the knowledge that the people who are serving me are appreciated and well compensated. I just wanted to mention specifically the optical department. I had my first appointment there the other day, and all three people I dealt with are fantastic. They were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and gave me probably the most comprehensive eye exam I’ve ever had with zero sales pressure. I’m used to going places where the employees are pushing sales and deals at you even when you say no, and it’s really uncomfortable. Sam’s Optical, however, just seemed concerned about answering my questions and making sure I had everything I wanted. They were chatty and personable, exactly NOT what you’d expect in such a busy place. I was told that their processing times for getting new glasses out can be a little slow, but if this is the sort of service that comes with it, I’ll take it.

Sams blows. Never been a fan. And I don’t see that happening any time soon. Customer service sucks. They never have enough people at the registers. And there’s a lot of stuff you can’t find there like you can at their competitors place.

It’s a SAM’s…what’s not to love? Everythings in bulk! You’ll have trash bags and toiletries for a year!!!

Even as a family of two for the time being, we use this place all the time. A lot of household items and grocery items can be bought in bulk here for much less than at the regular grocery store. The gas is also cheaper here than anywhere else in the area so you more than pay for your $ 35 membership. The only thing I don’t like is that they will allow people to buy memberships at the door on major sale says like Black Friday. I don’t find that to be fair at all.

Personally I’ve always loved Sam’s Club over Wal-Mart or any other big department store. They have so many things for so cheap, but my parents still forget to shop there and end up spending tons of money at grocery stores and other locations instead of just buying in bulk here. It’s a little hard to navigate, but nothing new since Costco used to be our favorite place to shop at in California. Good prices, plenty of options, friendly service, and a generally clean atmosphere are what you will find here.
