If you are in Branson, MO you have to try the Branson Café. We had the breakfast and it was to die for. Service was prompt and with a smile. Reasonably price and located in downtown Branson.

Nice place to get home cooked style meal. We came here at 4pm(late lunch/early dinner). The waitress was super friendly and tentative. We had fried chicken and fried pork tenderloin. Both were very good. I think Branson Café has the best fried chicken in the whole town. The chicken was crispy but not greasy, the breading was light, and the meat was so moist. It’s not overly salty. It’s one of the best fried chicken that I have had. The pork tenderloin was very tender and moist too. Our meal came with some buttery wheat dinner rolls, and they were yummy! I took one star off because I didn’t like their side dishes. Mashed potato was luke warm and a bit dry, while spinach was lack of flavor and way too mushy. We ended the meal with a piece of chocolate cream pie. I could do without the pie but my husband like it. Overall it’s a good restaurant and worth a visit.

We enjoyed our meal here. We were looking for something quick and simple. I ordered the tenderloin which was delicious. We also ordered a piece of the magnolia pie. I was with my mom and grandma and we’d never heard of such a pie. It was similar to a pecan pie but made with coconut. It was very sweet but very good. The prices were reasonable. We spent just under $ 30 after tip for 3 of us(grandma only had soup). The servers were friendly and attentive. If you are downtown to visit the 5& Dime this is a great place to grab a bite.

Thanks for Unilocal helping fine places like this when we travel. Sanja had fish it was great and I had Fried Chicken very very good. It rates up there with Guys in Memphis. Oh I just about forgot Deserts to die for. We will be back anytime we are in the area.

Located in Downtown Branson across from the old 5&10 store. The four of us came for breakfast, including three omelettes with hash browns. No time for pictures before devouring mine! The apple butter and homemade biscuits were also delicious! The service was polite and very efficient. We will return for another breakfast before we leave Branson for home.

I continually eat here and I haven’t been disappointed yet. The atmosphere here has Good Ol’ Ozark Southern Charm. It’s ironic because this little café has stood the test of time. The Branson café runs and feels like it did many years ago when Branson was still a very small town. However, the location of this place is at the busiest intersection in Branson. When you eat here you’ll get a waitress like Tanya, not a server, who makes you feel like you’ve been eating breakfast here for the last 30 yrs.

This little gem was so yummy! The cinnamon roll was delish our family split it! All there bread is homemade and I don’t eat bread but it did. My husband had the bisect and gravy which he said was the best ever. The staff was very kid and helpful. The coffee was better than Starbucks. We loved it! Enjoy!

Great little for breakfast. I’ll have to try & come back for lunch some time. It’s also not a fast food restaurant. The biscuits were obviously home made.

My wife and I had a wonderful breakfast at the café. I had a Western omelet with hash browns and homemade biscuit; delightful!!! My wife had the ham steak with fried eggs. The ham steak portion could be easily shared by two people; it was tender and moist. The wait staff was excellent. If you have to use the unisex bathroom, you get a self guided tour of their kitchen. You can see the kitchen staff prepare the food.

Great diner experience with very good food. Tonya was our waitress and she took great care of us from start to finish. Has that Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives feeling. Have to check it out when coming to Branson!

This family owned café is a great lunch stop! Tonya was a great waitress. The food was yummy and the homemade breads were a highlight. Save room for the pie

This restaurant is a staple, having been part of the landscape for… well, just look for Joyce. She has been serving there for 55 years(and counting). They compete with The Farmhouse across the street, which serves breakfast«anytime.» Yes, they put it in quotes, which literally means they only serve breakfast selectively. But I digress. It’s standards and basics for breakfast before you hit the lake: biscuits and gravy, eggs/skillets, and the delightfully descriptive«cornmeal mush» which bears the unlikely serving size of «three thick slices.» The price? Super cheap. A variety of homemade pastries, including cinnamon rolls the size of a King James Bible are available as well. Amongst other must-see features is following the«yellow brick road»(as their signage indicates) to the bathroom. This trail of linoleum takes you through the kitchen. Yes, you walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom. This is fast and filling diner food, served with Branson hospitality at a price that makes you feel a bit guilty. Stop in and eat a piece of history.

Pretty standard diner fair. You will get a standard breakfast here. Not great, but not horrible. I would go back.

Great little place with awesome service and wonderful food. Chicken and dumplings were fresh and wonderful. The little guy had pancakes and they were excellent. Service was really great, our server even got our little guy to eat. You must eat here if you are in Branson. Also, be sure to use the restroom. It’s an interesting little adventure.

Not the best service but the best southern-style food in the town! The open faced hot roast beef was absolutely wonderful! We were very impressed! Just don’t expect a quick bite

Our family ate here for lunch. We had a mix a breakfast, burgers, and chicken fingers. Everyone enjoyed their food! The waitress was VERY busy, a bit impatient, but somehow pleasant and charming. I guess that is what you expect at an authentic diner. Every seat is full and their is a line of people waiting to get in. The pie looked good, but we decided on ice cream next door instead.

We visited here twice during our visit to Branson. Good home cooked style meals with reasonable prices & fast, friendly service. On our first trip for lunch I ordered a tuna salad sandwich with homemade chips. It was excellent. My husband ordered the special– red beans and rice. It was very tasty with chunks of chicken. Our second trip was for breakfast. My veggie & cheese omelet with hash browns was very good. I loved the addition of zucchini. We would recommend stopping here for a quick meal!

Very good food, home town diner with daily specials. This is not the place for super huge plates, rather reasonable size and prices like the #1 plate(see picture) for $ 5.99

Preface: I come from the pretentious land of Chicago where best-in-class restaurants are found on every block. Atmosphere is great — exactly what you’d expect from an old-time country town like Branson. The Branson Café touted everything is made from scratch and it looked like they had some good menu items. I opted for a standard omelette for my breakfast. Here’s where the 3 star comes in. I wanted an omelette with some meat(only offered ham and hamburger… huh?) and veggies. The waitress couldn’t comprehend why I’d want that and not a standard option from the menu(an omelette blanketed in cheese with bacon doesn’t fit everyone’s diet structure). Oh well. Got my omelette. It was OK. If you’re looking for a place with breakfast staples(and good coffee to boot), this is your spot.
