This Von’s is depressing.
It makes me sad to shop here.
The people working are miserable.
They hate their job.
There are no smiles.
No laughter.
No soul.
It’s just dead inside.
Poor customer service because I’ve been waiting at the customer service counter for ten minutes now and no one has come by to help me. Not even the register attendants have realized that I’ve been waiting here.
Sigh.
Apparently wal*mart down the road sells food and groceries. I guess it’s time to make the journey there.

Great service and atmosphere. Employees are always helpful, kind, and interested. I no longer shop here because Vons is more expensive than Walmart, but if I had the money, I would definitely shop here. Always clean and helpful.

Von’s is bicycle friendly. You can lock it up outside with the bike rack or bring it inside. Just be responsible with your bike as it’s the only business that let’s you bring it inside.

I’ve been shopping at this Von’s for two years now. I love the customer service. My butcher and produce clerk know me by name, they always ask what they can order me and they almost always get it in with the exception of lemon grass stalks (he got me the paste instead). They are great! I can talk recipes with the checkers. They are like family.

For a tiny town like Brawley, California this is a 5-star grocery store! Very nice clean store with a top notch Starbucks with friendly staff. The bathroom were super clean.
What a blessing to stumble into such a friendly place when just passing through a little town.
