I love the menu set-up and the food was delicious. I love how you can make the pizza your way without so many different extra charges. I went at night and unfortunately learned that the manager(I think her name was Lauren) doesn’t work there anymore. She was really nice and helpful(the times Id see her). She also really informed me bout the gluten free ingredients which is very important to me. Hopefully she was just on vacation. Anyways the workers that night seemed very busy and helped me as quickly as possible. Ill have to come back next weekend for more!

Staff is extremely rude, bunch of punks that treat you like crap. It is a shame, pizza is not too bad. As a business owner, I would fire entire night shift and start from scratch! The only customer service friendly one is the hispanic man that makes the pies. Customer service training is definitely needed. If you like Blaze, go to the Brea Mall food court store, staff is a lot friendlier.

Mmm mmm good! I was initially hesitant to try this place after having had pieology in the past. Pieology tastes like a bad frozen pizza with a weak crust topped off with remnants of a subway sandwich. In comparison, blaze is actually a very tasty pizza with a thin crust that actually holds up solidly despite whatever toppings you throw on it… and there are plenty of great toppings to choose from… from multiple sauces, to multiple cheeses, and multiple meat and veggie options. Their lemonade is also irresistible… it’s super tangy and super sweet so it actually tastes better if you put a lot of ice to water it down a bit; kind of like you would do with a lee’s Vietnamese coffee.

I have tried several make-your-own pizza restaurants before, This has to be the best of them. When I walked in, I was asked whether that was my first visit. When I told them, yes. They were very patient explaining all my options or choices. I chose the one-price unlimited topping pizza. They also offered pizza other pre-selected choices of toppings. There were many choices of cheese, meat, vegetable and other condiments. I piled up the pizza with several of my favorites. The pizza was label with your name and cooked. The pizza was thin crusted with all your selected toppings. The best part is that, the pizza was not soaky and all the toppings were cooked just right for my taste. The cheese were fully melted, the vegetable were cooked just right and the meat were very tender. The pizza was very tasty and flavorful. It was larger that the others that I have tried. I had to box the remainder for later meals.

I absolutely love coming to Blaze. Working at the mall can be hard but the employees at Blaze are always quick and enthusiastic. Jesse is always happy despite the chaoric nature of the store. Love these guys, love Blaze

This place is so awesome. You get a twelve inch pizza with as many fresh toppings as you want for about $ 8.00, cooked in about 5 minutes, and it’s delicious. I will be coming back quite frequently. Oh and if you’re vegan, or gluten intolerant, they have a gluten free crust, and vegan cheese.

I had heard of this place from a friend so a few of us came here last week after work. I consider myself well versed when it comes to pizza. It is really hard to screw up pizza; c’mon how can you not love a bad pizza?! It’s a very similar concept to Chipotle. You walk along and say you want some of this some of that. By the time you pay, sit down, your pizza is out within a few minutes. The flavor wasn’t bad. However; for $ 8.25 you can’t expect a pizza with real-deal cheese and quality toppings. Overall not bad. I will come back when I’m in a pinch for time and feel like pizza.

First time at this place and it was really good. You choose what you want on your pizza and it’s ready in just a few minutes. I’m going to be visiting a lot more

Pleasantly pleased by this place’s customer service, quality, selection, and taste. Was randomly shopping in this plaza recently, hungry, and pizza sounded good. Decided to just hop into my first Blaze ever. Did build your own pizza for like $ 8. Different sauce options, cheese options. Everything looks super fresh so far. Meat options, veggies, all kinds of other special toppings. They guy making our pizza was super friendly, patient, and generous with what he put on. The pizza came out quick and was delicious. Definitely will be going back.

Maybe it was just me but came here for lunch while shopping, the service was good, people were nice except the quality of the pizza. For me, I always choose Pieology over any pizza places and I wanted to give this place a try because people say it’s like Pieology. The pizza wasn’t crispy and less toppings as it is at Pieology and it just didn’t meet my satisfaction.

I love Blaze Pizza so much that I always tell people Blaze over Pieology until my last visit to this location. To be honest I was pretty obsessed with Blaze and so was my girlfriend. I came to this location whenever I was in the area. There is usually a 10 minute wait during dinner time and an additional 5 minute wait to get he food after you’ve paid. Why am I so disappointed? The last two times I’ve came my food has been completely cold out of the oven. Yes, I get it if it’s loaded with toppings but then you should just heat it longer. My girlfriends had minimal toppings so I don’t get it. Once I tell them and they reheat it everything becomes soggy and moist. The bread becomes play dough and isn’t a pizza anymore. It’s also a mess when they reheat it as they have to take it off the wax paper and move it around as its already been cut once. The pizza tasted gross too. Feeling sick the next day was not the business either.

Great service! Really good vibes among the employees… Manager was very kind and hard working.(Tattoo guy.) As for the pizza… Let’s just say it changes Pieology to poopoligy. Simple as that. Crust is better, Sauces are better, toppings better.

Blaze pizza is similar to Pizza Rev. These folks are not comparable to Pieology but nonetheless, a gazillion times better than pizza studio. e Blaze has gluten free dough for $ 3.00 more(vs. $ 2 at pizza rev). Blaze has vegan, non dairy cheese(vs. reduced fat cheese at pizza rev). All the other toppings are similar or same except tomato. Blaze has cherry tomatoes, rather than chopped. Blaze also has sun-dried tomaters which is nice. The service is good. They are polite, patient, and courteous. I loved how they didn’t know what the vegan cheese consisted of and was not shy about it. Pie runs for $ 10 per.

What a great place to get my pizza fix! The service is so friendly, a very clean restaurant and all of my pizza(from the dough to the toppings) are fresh fresh fresh! Everyone behind the counter is just so helpful and kind. I really appreciate that. Now let’s talk about that pizza! It comes out just perfect. All gooey and piping hot! Makes my mouth water! Thanks blaze for providing great customer service and for selling such a delicious product! Check this place out!

I really liked Blaze! I mean who doesn’t like pizza especially when you can put whatever the heck you want on it? AND they have gluten free crust so that is nice! It isn’t the most delicious thing, but as far as gluten free goes it is pretty darn good. It does get soggy pretty quickly though, which was the only disappointing thing. I made my own pizza, and the toppings were all so fresh. I was really impressed. I got to talk to one of the chefs, who was also one of the founders of Blaze, and he was so friendly and I could tell he has a real passion for what he does. As well as a real commitment to having fresh and delicious food. And it definitely is a success! My pizza was delicious. A really good size for the price you pay, and everything I had on it was really good. The restaurant is trendy and nice, and I really enjoyed it. It is quick and delicious!

I used to low-key be obsessed with Pieology, but I tried Blazed recently and I honestly think I prefer it because the crust is a lot better than Pieology’s. Note: ask for extra sauce, or even extra sauce + a side of sauce if you’re really big on it because they kind of skimp on it(especially the pesto and the bbq sauces)

I prefer Blaze over Pieology because I love their spicy marinara, Ovalini Mozzarella cheese, sautéed zucchini, and roasted whole garlic cloves, all items you can’t get at Pieology. Friendly service and clean restaurant.

First visit, loved their pizzas. Second visit, ordered 3 pizzas and 2 of them had slightly burnt crusts. I had to ask them not to burn my 3rd pizza, which turned out perfectly. Third visit, we were being discouraged from adding our favorite toppings. I think the concept of building your own pizza is great. Ingredients are fresh and healthy. Service can improve on friendliness though. I may try another place.

Second trip to Blaze in 2 days. this time with a free pizza coupon: D I got the«Art Lover» pizza and added my own ingredients I swear if you add everything they offer it’d still be good. This location had great service and offered plenty of seating indoors and out. I’ll make sure to take pictures of it next time :)

Compared to pieology, Blaze is different in that there seems to be a few extra choices of toppings such as roasted garlic, white sauce, applewood bacon, cherry tomatoes, spinach, and zucchini. Also their meats are definitely less chopped, meaning you get larger chunks on your pizza. While their ingredients are solid, I feel their standard red sauce isn’t as good as pieologies. Also, their shredded mozarella isn’t as good as pieology. So why would I ever go to Blaze vs. Pieology? It’s because they are open later on Fri-Sun vs Pieology. Check the times =). Don’t get me wrong, Blaze is good pizza at a great price. 4 stars.
