This place was really nice. The decorations and seating are very homey and comfortable. The food was average and the coffee was good. The service was great and the doughnuts were very good.

Went here for breakfast the last morning of our trip. Had bacon and eggs and an apple fritter. Everything was soooo delicious.

Definitely overrated. Doughnuts were doughnuts, coffee was hot, and the service was poor. Wouldn’t return.

The wait was a little longer at 1030 on a Thursday but there was a line. Obviously a good sign if there are so many people! Took our food 20 – 30 minutes to arrive but the wait was totally worth it! The waffle is so good! I wished I wasn’t so excited about ordering that I forgot ti ask for thr pumpkin spiced one. It is a bit crumbly & tasted amazing with the honey. Bacon is bacon. I wanted some protein — Yes, kind of a wierd combo. The omelette was massive & it was delicious! It has a buttery taste & chunks of meat. It came with some toast & hash brown(not the squares but the shaved type). Yep, I was eating my waffles & my utensils wandered across the table to eat off the amazing dish across me! The toilet is at the back of the restaurant. It’s clean enough.

Classic greasy spoon breakfast. Best cure for hangovers when you’re trying to get on the mountain. Call ahead if you can, there’s always a line but they hustle. Sausage rolls are necessary.

Had to try this place when visiting Breck because of all the fans, and I was not disappointed. I got one of the last two cinnamon rolls that were left, and it was just the best roll I’ve ever had; gooey, very soft and fresh, and just cinnamon-y and sugary and falling apart. We got the chocolate-iced donut and cruller as well and they were also just as delicious and fresh. The tea selection offered here wasn’t so great, but this place is still a must to visit when in Breck.

Yes there is often a line. Yes, they don’t take cash. But other than that, this place is great. The sausage rolls are cheap, and taste like my mom’s homemade version. The blueberry cream cheese cinnamon twists are the best donuts I have had, ever. The omelettes are as good as restaurants charging twice the price. There is a reason the line is long. There is a reason they can happily avoid paying the interchange fee. Their food is just that good.

The donuts are amazing, I had the apple fritter, it was larger than my plate, and especially good! The blueberry cake is a must try if you like that type of donut.

Daylight Donuts has somehow managed to transform pigs in a blanket from mediocre fast food into an art form. I could eat these all. day. long.

Great donuts, baked on site. Light and fluffy. Sausage rolls are delicious — don’t be shy, they are small so order a few of them. Good made-to-order breakfast as well. The line gets long, but moves super fast. We ate here three times while in Breck. Guess we liked it.

We have been coming here since the late 1980’s and are busy indoctrinating our grandkids into joining the Daylight Donuts fan club. The breakfast is always good, atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming; most importantly they have figured out how to avoid the dreaded«mountain pricing». That’s right you don’t have to call the bank before you stop in for pancakes and coffee. The atmosphere is the real draw. Something about this restaurant makes even mean people friendly. Get up early. Get a good breakfast. Fill the kids up with pancakes and donuts. Make a friend or two.

Good food, great prices, large portions. Yep, Daylight Donuts is a winner! It was a little difficult for us out-of-towners to spot on Main but it was worth the effort. They’re pretty busy even during the off season and they’re cash only(there’s an ATM by the front door) but it’s a nice casual place for breakfast and to get your doughnut fix.

There was a wait on Sunday morning at around 9:30am BUT let me tell you 1) the wait is definitely worth it and 2) the line goes pretty fast! My husband and I ordered 2 of the McMuffin sausage sandwich dealios and they were amazing! Fluffy eggs, great sausage and an awesome muffin with hashbrowns on the side! We also got a chocolate topped glazed doughnut to split(and oh my gosh, that was amazing). We also had a sausage roll each which are only 70 cents each! Crazy how cheap this place is! Highly highly highly recommend this place! So delicious and a pretty quick breakfast on your way out of town. CAUTIONTHOUGH: They only accept cash HOWEVER, they have an ATM at the entrance to the restaurant!

Cute little local spot. The donuts looked tasty, but I didn’t have any. You place your order at the counter and then you’re allowed to find a table. So we placed an order and as I go to sit down the lady working the counter yells at me that I have to order first. Yeah, I just did that, remember? Sweet potato waffle. Geez. After we’ve been seated and have our drinks she comes to tell me(and is somewhat nicer) that they are out of the sweet potato waffle so I get the Belgian waffle. It was bland. My brother got the biscuits and gravy and it tasted like it was right out of a package. If you’re really wanting breakfast similar to a Denny’s then this is your spot. And a friendlier counter girl couldn’t hurt.

My favorite breakfast place in summit county. There, I said it. But that isn’t enough. I cannot describe how much I love Breckenridge Daylight Doughnuts. Every time I am in breck, I nab an egg burrito. I love then and they are my favorite. The atmosphere is always upbeat and friendly, the employees are fanatic, and the food is to live for. The price is right, the pace is right, and the people are right. Stay classy, Daylight Doughnuts.

A fun little breakfast restaurant that has a lot of local flair. You get the impression it’s a local dive. The food is better than a Denny’s, but not by much. It tends to be greasy.
