Poached looks like a bar but tastes like a restaurant. Awesome breakfast. Highly recommended.

Hit up poached 3 times on my trip. Convenient location and great prices. Not to mention friendly staff and excellent breakfast!

Fantastic breakfast — rarely a wait. Coffee and tea could be better. And Too bad they use cheap smukers jam though… Boo.

A strange experience. Owner clearly intoxicated approached our table talking unintelligibly about the music playing and did we want cocktails. It was 10 in the morning. He came back to our table several times and sat down at one point. Very awkward. Our waitress was ok, she said it was her 4th day, and took our order, food was ok although one order of French toast arrived with a hair in the whip cream on top! There were eggshells in the eggs. We were the only people in the restaurant and should have left after the owner first approached us. No atmosphere and totally unprofessional for so called owner to be taking shots at the table next to us.

Great breakfast. I had the scramble and it was amazing. My wife had the tacos and those were amazing as well. Service was ok but not great. I would come back for sure.

Yum!!! I had the southern Benny and Breakfast is forever changed for the better. The mimosas have a good ratio. We all licked our plates cleans

Amazing food, drinks, and service! Went for brunch with the family and had to come back the next day. Dameo took care of us both times and gave us excellent customer service.

Not very good food. Veggies weren’t fresh tater tots were hard little nuggets. not sure how to mess up tater tots but… and the ketchup smells gross like merged ketchup. no Bueno.

This past week, I hit up Poached twice in a row while in Breckenridge. They had a few issues going on during our first visit, but they acknowledged it and made things right. I love it when I restaurant goes out of their way when they know they haven’t performed 100%. Our second visit was way better. No delays in our food or any other hiccups. As for the food, it’s pretty good. We briefly meet the main chief and you can tell he’s all about satisfying the customer. The guy is all about giving you the best experience. I believe Poached recently opened. Like any new restaurant, it’s going to have issues as any start up would. It’s totally expected. Either way, the food was good. And most importantly the service and hospitality was amazing. Definitely pay them a visit if you’re staying close by.

Food was cold, bad service. There is no atmosphere, the restaurant looks like a garage with a few cheap tables. There are so many other better options for breakfast. We were in Friday, 11⁄27 at around 11am.

Three out of the 4 dishes were good. Dameo was our server and was horrible. The other employees seemed to be friendly.

Should be renamed«Bland.» The bruschetta Benny turned into a flavorless yellow blob. The home fries tasted like yellow snow. There were drunk and rowdy people at the bar swearing loudly at 9 in the morning. Might be an alright place for happy hour, as they had a diverse drink menu, but I won’t be going back to check.

We are visiting Breck this weekend and wanted a hearty brunch. We found it. As the previous reviewer said, the staff is very friendly. The service was good, the food was good, and whether or not you like the atmosphere is completely subjective. It’s a bar. It’s very casual. The patrons are generally 20 somethings wearing plaid and hoodies. We had our 2 yr old with us and it was fine. I get the feeling everybody wanders in here. The cornbread was awesome.

Okay people… I’m going to break this down for you. I read all the reviews and I was worried about coming here, Unilocal review history has it wrong this time! YES — it’s a bar atmosphere, don’t come here if you’re looking for some uppity fancy place; or go to Vail if that’s what you want. The staff here are accommodating and incredibly nice. They were all pumped about the football games that were coming on and loved to talk sports. Now let’s get to the food… I ordered a simple breakfast because I was worried about the reviews(damn you snobs). It was awesome! A simple egg scramble was awesome. Great place, great atmosphere, great food… nay sayers be damned :) PS. I don’t hand out 5 star reviews, I’m a prude when it comes to that so pay attention.

This is an interesting place. The food was pretty good with some creative dishes. We really liked the home fries, bacon, and French Toast. The hollandaise sauce was a bit too lemony, which was disappointing as it seems to be one of their specialties. The chorizo sausage was a bit bland. It seems it’s popular to call anything sausage chorizo, even if it doesn’t have much of the traditional spicing. This seemed to be the case here. The service was not good, but it seemed someone may have called in sick, so I can’t be too hard on them about that. Yet, we had a long wait and different waiters across the morning. The atmosphere is unusual. It seems to focus mostly on breakfast, but the feel was much more of a bar. Our experience was okay, not great, but I’d give them another try. It did seem like an off morning for them.

Overall an okay experience. The place is named«poached» and focuses on breakfast but the inside seems to be more bar atmosphere. We went at 8 am and the music was really loud inside. The breakfast menu had a lot of yummy choices and I went with biscuits and gravy with spicy chorizo gravy. Flavor was good but biscuits and gravy were really cold. Hash browns were warm and good. Overall the atmosphere confused me the most. Lots of ultra modern touches but country pictures on wall. I would try it again.

Disastrous experience. 45 minutes after we ordered food the waitress came to our table to tell us that she had no idea what happened to our order. She couldn’t find it. We ended up finding it in her notepad for her. A few minutes after she finally put in our order, she came back to tell us that they ran out of biscuits(someone at our table ordered biscuits and gravy). She ended up paying for our coffees and getting us a round of mimosas(right before they ran out of champagne) because she felt bad. While patiently waiting for our food we watched people from two different tables get up and walk out(one table being a two-top and the other a seven-top). Last but not least, we found one of the bartenders PUKING in the bathroom. The food was good but definitely not worth all of the trouble we went through to get it.

Excellent breakfast spot in Breckenridge. Interesting menu with a twist on some traditional breakfast fare, poached eggs with pork belly and apple cider hollandaise for example. I highly recommend! I don’t ever want a regular Benedict again. The potatoes were both tender and crispy. They’ve nailed it. They have a charming patio with a view of one of the peaks, surrounded by cute retail stores. The inside is a stark contrast from the patio; it looks more like a local watering hole and bingo hall with banquet chairs and bar games in the dining room. The bar was surprisingly full before noon. Good for them. Locating the restaurant by the street address was a bit of a challenge. Google maps will take you to the Wyndham. They were helpful in pointing us in the right direction. It’s basically behind the hotel to the right. You can park in their garage for free for two hours. Follow the signs to retail and ski lift parking and take the stairs up one level to look for the yellow umbrellas. It’s worth the search.

Lovely breakfast spot! Tried the Bruschetta Benny — amazing blend of flavors(balsamic reduction with basil, garlic, tomato, and, of course, homemade Hollandaise). I found several veggie options(and even a vegan scramble). Located right in front of Maggie’s Pond next to the Quandary Grille, there’s a nice outdoor patio for good weather, and the indoor area is minimally decorated, tastefully, with spacious, vaulted ceilings and modern-retro décor. Friendly staff and good coffee — no complaints!

Best new brunch spot in town! Great service, delicious food, yummy mimosas, & the best patio around.
