My husband and I enjoyed our first meal in Breckenridge at this local brewery. We went on a Friday night and it was busy, but we did not have to wait long for a table as there was plenty of outdoor seating available. There were numerous TVs in the facility to watch various sporting events, and a great selection of food items on the menu. I had the saison, which is a fruity beer that I was fairly certain I would like– and I was right. I had the beer cheese soup and salad for dinner– the soup was good but a bit spicy for me(I’m kind of wimpy on these things). My husband had a burger with a side of mac and cheese for his meal. We were both pleased with our dishes and will probably stop in again while we are in Breck this week.

Okay — so this place was hyped up. But, when it comes down to it, damn those beers are good. I tried a wheat beer — not my thing — by recommendation from the server — and loved it. I also had a delicious amber and if I wasn’t pooped form skiing I would have stayed to sample more. Ask for smaller pours so you can try more options! The food was pretty delicious(but very rich) too. Nachos — only get ‘em if you are with a group or a cow. Veggies with the chicken was delicious! And the 50⁄50 burger was a gluttons dreammmmmm.

Had a great time at Breckenridge brewery during my recent ski trip. We had time to spare after a day on the slopes, so headed to this spot right down the street from our hotel. We got a flight, as we wanted to try all the beer selections! I only liked a few of the beers, but mostly because I’m a baby and can’t handle anything dark :), not their fault! My friend liked a lot of them, especially the vanilla porter. Also, we ordered the artichoke & Avalanche ale dip. It was heaven. Would go back just for that and eat the whole thing as a meal. Very nice spot to chill in breck!

We went here after a long day of skiing. The intention was to only get a drink but after looking at the menu we decided to snack on the elk burger with friend. The burger had a delicious game flavor and was cooked to a perfect medium. The fries were heavenly after a full day of skiing. We accompanied this with the Beer flight. Perfect to share for 2, plus you get to try all their beers. We were so happy we ordered the flight as the beers we thought we wouldn’t like turned out to be some of our favorites. Must try: Vanilla Porter, Breck IPA and my personal favorite Avalanche!

After an hour of cross country skiing at Breck’s Nordic Center, Fred and I were hungry for a home town beer and where better to go than to Breck’s own brewery. Packed as one would expect on a Friday evening we waited a while until the two chairs at the bar freed up. Silos were visible from the bar area which gave the pace an authentic brewing feel. The décor also featured ski paraphernalia on the walls. We ordered a couple of Breck IPAs and followed it with an order of their Mac and Cheese. The IPAs were refreshing but not quite as hoppy as one would expect from a good IPA. However, their Mac and Cheese was out of this world — cheesy, rich noodled goodness which was also very satisfying for two.

This was our first time at this brewery– our first time in Breck. We always hit breweries any time we go to a new place. This one did not disappoint. I was a little hesitant due to some of the reviews I read before going, but everyone has their likes and dislikes and my opinion is that we reaaally liked it! We got a flight of 8 beers. They were all pretty good. I like dark beer. My boyfriend likes lighter beers and IPAs. We both were pretty much able to split them evenly amongst what we liked, which was cool– because honestly, who wants to share their delicious beer or snacks? Not me! Just kidding, sort of. I share sometimes– like on this particular day. We got a burger [to split], the name escapes me. It had amazing goat cheese and pear with a deliiicious chutney. It was really good. Not the BEST burger, but definitely good and something new. We also got a four cheese mac. I was expecting a lot more, but we got it as a side, so it didn’t have all the fixings and that could be why, but nonetheless delicious. I am partial to runny, gooey mac and this was more like adult gourmet mac with real cheese that isn’t so gooey and childish. I’m sure mos people would really enjoy it. I think if you get it is a meal, it comes with spinach and mushrooms. Yum! I wish I had read that more carefully. Now onto the big kahuna! The BEERCHEESEFRIES. Yep! BEER. CHEESE. FRIES. Probably three of the greatest things on this earth. Oh wait, it also had BACON. [I’m hungry now.] So these beer cheese fries, right? They were smothered in this beer cheese soupey deliciousness that was at the bottom of the plate. Hallelujah. They were then topped with shredded cheese and the most delicious bacon. I can’t remember if there were green onions or not. My current hunger may be causing me to imagine things, but if there was that’s freaking great and if there wasn’t, who cares they are BEERCHEESEFRIES, y’all! Like any brewery, you can buy shirts, hats, growlers, and other things I didn’t pay attention to because I was hangry and cold after walking there in the snow. If you’re in Breck, hit this place and eat and drink whatever you can fit in your body!

I’ve visited the Brewery a couple times with family and it was packed both times. It can be hard to find parking(there are only a handful of spots in fronton the restaurant). And then you’ll probably have a wait — we were lucky and only waited thirty minutes on our most recent visit, which is amazing for a Friday night. I’ve gotten their 50⁄50 bacon-beef burger both times — it was definitely better with queso and bacon and not at great with the brie and apples. My husband got their special on our recent visit — fish for lent. I’m not a fish fan in the least, but he convinced me to try a bite and it really was awesome! Uncle J got the meatloaf which was HUGE. He said it was also quite delicious! Papa K got the BBQ ribs and loved them. You can get some good food here, just be prepared for a crowd, a long wait and noise.

Excellent beer, fairly good pub fare. The Reuben sandwich was excellent. I would skip the nachos next time.

I liked this place a lot! We got there in time for happy hour, so we took advantage of half-price appetizers and beers. We got a beer sampler to try everything on tap. My favorite was the vanilla porter, and there was a sour one I can’t remember the name of that was also tasty. And the wings are really, really good. Definitely get those if you like wings. The service is friendly and attentive, and the prices are definitely reasonable.

I wasn’t expecting much since brewpubs in ski towns have disappointed me before. Arrived around 6:45, prime time for happy hour and dinner and waited around 25 minutes, much better than I expected since they don’t take reservations. Bar service was fairly quick and courteous. Dinner service was great. Had the Elk meatloaf. Being from DC with high food costs and seeing the $ 16 price was a pleasant surprise. That was a SUPER dense meatloaf. They did NOT skimp on the amount of meat vs filler and the flavor was excellent. Friend onions on top were a kicker to boot. Great lower cost option in town.

We finally got to eat dinner here. Over the last couple of years or so we have been going here to fill up our beer«growlers»(half gallon jugs that are refillable for $ 10-$ 14) when we would come to Breck for a few days. Their beer is really good. I am not much of a beer drinker but I do like theirs. We usually get their wheat agave(they were out last night-we got there late like at 9 pm, but they said they will have more fresh available this morning). So we had 2 other jugs and got the Ophelia and the Berliner. They were quite crowded-and it was a Sunday night. We were seated right away in a cozy booth away from the noise=or so we thought-but they were bussing the dishes right behind us so it was kinda noisy. My friend and I had cabernet, it was good. They had fun cocktails on the menu too, but we just felt like wine. My friend’s husband tried a couple of different beers. My husband had water. We had been driving 11 hours that day so we were pretty wiped out and adjusting to the altitude. Our waiter was friendly. Fun atmosphere. My friend and I both had the Las Vegas Burgers-beef patty(you can get elk too), swiss cheese, bacon, and avocado with fried onion strings on it. They say they cook their burgers medium unless you specify. I think I should have said medium rare. It wasn’t super flavorful but it was good. Oh and I got the mashed potatoes with mine-yum– and my friend got the mac and cheese. Tasted her mac and cheese but didn’t think it was worth an additional $ 2.50. My friend’s husband got the fish and chips and really liked it and my husband got the chicken wings and he said they were very good. We will come back-my husband wants to try the elk burger next time, I just wasn’t overly impressed with the food-it wasn’t super flavorful but it was good bar food and a fun atmosphere.

I’ve come to the Breckenridge Brewery a few times over the past years. The food is mediocre at best. If you’re going to visit the Breck Brewery, I’m recommend sticking to their beer. No doubt, there’s great beer here, but the food is most certainly lacking. The food is all your standard bar food. Nothing special stood out for me.

My husband and I love this place the ambience and the food is amazing. My Las Vegas elk burger was over cooked and sent it back. Second time around they got it right and it was nice and juicy! So delicious ! They shortened their menu and took off tots and the fried jalapeño burger. We were very sad that they took that off the menu. Overall, we love the food, atmosphere and the beer!

After a ski day in Breckenridge, my boyfriend and I thought it was deemed necessary to get a burger and beer from the Breckenridge Brewery itself. I ordered the Las Vegas burger, and had some high expectations: it ended up being pretty average. The meat was alright, and the rest of the sandwich wasn’t anything exceptional. I got the mac n cheese on the side, and it was pretty good, with a great assortment of melted cheeses on it. My only complaint with the mac n cheese was that they used bowtie pasta instead of shells or macaroni noodles. I think their delicious cheese sauce would pair better with shells so it can get into all of the nooks and crannies, instead of just sliding off of the bow tie pasta. As for the beer, I got the Avalanche Ale and it was again, just alright. After a long day skiing, I was really excited to indulge in a decadent burger and beer. The food here was alright, but it didn’t hit the spot like I wanted it to. I will also say that our server was a little inattentive. We were ready for our checks after she cleared our plates, and she stood next to our table and gossiped to another waiter for ten minutes while we just glared at her. She then finally brought the check after her conversation ended. I don’t think I’ll ever come back here, maybe for a beer with friends. However, there’s another brewery in the area that had way better beer and way better service(cough BC).

I must say I was skeptical of the 3.5 star review. How can a pretty well know brewery pull in such a mediocre rating on its home turf?!? Well, true story… I went with the elk meatloaf thinking it would be creative to try some meat I don’t have regularly. But came out a bit over cooked without a whole lot of flavor and onion sticks on top. Hmm, yeah not the best foot forward. I figured they would make it up in the beer department, ahem brewery, but was lackluster there too. After getting the sampler of all their beers, the only one that’s worth really commenting on is the vanilla porter. The rest were kinda meh. I’ve heard there is a great burger place down the street. I’ll be trying that at some point this week…

Great place for a drink and some appetizers. Stopped in while visiting Breckenridge for the day, we sat at the bar and had some drinks and appetizers. The bartender was friendly and explained the menu well to us. We were able to make a good choice based on his recommendations. The beer is also delicious and the décor inside is very fitting with being in the mountains. This is a great place to stop in while visiting Breckenridge.

Love this place. It’s awesome being able to get the beer I’m used to buying elsewhere in Colorado straight from the source. They have a T-Shirt stand for the tourists, which is pretty smart… But this place is all about the beer. I ordered the portobello sandwich which was pretty bloody tasty. I loved that is was accompanied with basil pesto and grilled peppers. I had mashers on the side and to my joy the gravy was vegetarian. The mashers, in my opinion were the hero of the plate. They leave the skin on, and they have a creamy texture while leaving chunks of the potato in it which is exactly how I love my mashers. I paired it with the Oatmeal Stout, and truly felt my insides feeling comforted from the 0 degree temperatures outside. Great place to catch a game too! I’ll miss this place when I’m back in Colorado Springs, but will definitely be back.

In planning a get away to Breckenridge for my birthday weekend I was excited for one thing above most others. Breckenridge Brewery! So excited in fact that while my boyfriend and I waited for the rest of our friends to arrive we snuck over for a couple beers. Ssshh! Don’t tell. For our first excursion, we gladly sat at the bar. It was early in the afternoon and by no means was it crowded. The bartender was very attentive. I had the Vanilla Porter which was heavier than I usually drink but it was a great sipper. My boyfriend had at Agave Wheat and a gin and tonic. He’s not a wheat beer fan, but Breck’s wheat exceeded his expectations. When we came back later in the evening it was approx 8:30 and we had grown to a group of six! To our surprise we were seated immediately. Our waiter was quite hurried, but I can’t blame him it was late on a Friday night. He was gracious enough to come back when we weren’t ready and snap a couple pictures of our group. We ordered a flight of beer so everyone could have a few sips and decide on a full size they’d like for their meal. We ordered a variety of food. Mostly burgers for the ladies, wings, and chicken for the boys. I had the Las Vegas burger and it was delish. I am a sucker for french fries(or anything potato for that matter) and these were awesome. I paired this tasty meal with a saison. I’ve never tried a saison before and I must say it was delicious! Overall it was a great experience and I can’t wait to come back for another great evening!

Breck’s Vanilla Porter was what caught my eye and made me want to stop at the brewpub in Breck. I’m a big fan of their Stout so I was excited to try something new. I wasn’t impressed with the Vanilla Porter. It was a bit bitter for a sweet beer. As for food I did the build your own burger. I started off with the basic burger and added Smoked bacon, prosciutto, guacamole. I thought it was just $ 1.50 for all of those but when I got my bill it was $ 1.50/item. Even though it was pretty spendy, it was amazing and it hit the spot. Service was mediocre. I liked that they gave us a pitcher of water otherwise I would have ran out because our server only stopped at our table a total of three times.

This is my favorite restaurant to take people to when we go to Breckenridge. Firstly, it is really well situated, right on main street, with a beautiful view of the of the mountains. Second, the quality is great. Tons of awesome beers to choose from, especially the rotating selections. The food is great also. Lots of simple pub options like fish and chips & burgers, but there are also some more exotic options, such as elk meatloaf(which is delicious). Thirdly, the prices are pretty reasonable. I don’t have to tell you that Breckenridge can be a bit pricey, so this is a nice aspect. Overall, craft colorado beer and tasty food in a beautiful mountain town for around $ 20 a head. Five stars.

Sehr empfehlenswert!!!
