Had the lobster bisque, fried clams, and chicken and sausage gumbo. Everything was marvelous. Couldn’t have asked for better flavor. Also, the staff was friendly.

TL;DR: Get a bowl of hot gumbo on a cold winter night. You won’t be disappointed. Remember to save room for their beignets! Wife and I have been to the Frisco location two years ago and absolutely loved it. We knew we had to come here when found out that Breck has a Lost Cajun as well. This place is located at basement of a shopping plaza at the south end of Main Street. Come here a little bit earlier to put your name down, then walk around town till they call you back. This place is small so seats are limited but they try to be as accommodating as possible. We were lucky to catch a change of tables and only had to wait 15 minutes. Once seated, we were given samples of their gumbo and bisque. Too bad their jambalaya wasn’t available, was looking forward to having that again. We got the seafood gumbo and lobster bisque along with the seafood platter and a side of fried okra. They were short on servers so our food waited on the kitchen counter for a bit before they picked it up. The catfish, shrimps and oysters were all deliciously fried and came with tartar sauce and a horseradish sauce. The seafood gumbo and lobster bisque were obviously tasty since we already tried them before. Everything comes with French bread. We were getting full by now but we had to have their beignets! We managed to get a single and it was a big fluffy pillow covered in powdered sugar. Great end to the meal. Take out is also available and you can buy family sizes gumbo to go!

Great place! Check it out! Low key atmosphere with southern charm. Loved the southern beer options. Came here for dinner and a drink before a night on the town with my boyfriend.

It was all around alright! We definitely appreciated the sampler platter which allowed us to try the various gumbo options, and eventually led us to the bowl of lobster bisque which was great — best part of our visit. If you’re a fan of boudin, you may or may not like the boudin ball appetizer. I personally wasn’t a fan. Delivered they looked burnt and unappealing. The taste was better than they appeared but I think their being fried removed the flavor. The dipping sauce was good though! We also had the cat ‘touffe(I believe was the name?) which again was okay. The catfish seemed kind of bland and the dish didn’t wow as we’d hoped for. All around it was a pretty decent experience. We were excited that there was a cultural option to have while we visited Breck, but for $ 42 we expected more bang for our buck. Not too shabby, but not the greatest.

Girlfriend blew out her knee so I was trying to get her something to eat and had to do it solo. They do NOT deliver! When you order to pick up there is no parking. Drove around on a Friday night for an hour and could not find a parking space. Skiers were coming into town so it was like rush hour the entire time. I finally gave up. As far as the food, I didn’t try it but one of my bowling buddies said it’s the best restaurant in Sublette County.

Great food! Even gave samples of the gumbos. The seafood sampler was pretty good. Our server was very nice, attentive, and knowledgeable. I would definitely come back next time we are in Breck.

Great Cajun food with an great service and hospitality! Love that they let you try all the gumbos, bisque and etouffees! I’m a fan of their crawfish étouffée and their shrimp po’boys! Beignet’s looks great, have to go back to try them!

Les Bön Temps roule! Good little tucked away restaurant, my favorite is the red beans and rice with andouille sausage. Save room for the beignets!

Best Cajun in Colorado. We used to live in NOLA and this is a taste of home. Catfish is great.

It’s not very often you run into a Cajun establishment near a ski slope, extra points for originality. The free soup samples let our table decide on the best cup to get. All were really tasty, but the seafood gumbo captured my spicy tastebuds immediately. The gumbo held its heat and I wolfed it down, I was hoping for a bit more soup in the large bowl, but I also had some étouffée on the way. Etouffe was also a little small for $ 18, but everything on the plate was very tasty. After a long day of skiing, you’ll need a big serving of protein. I enjoyed the meal, but I was left wanting a bit more food after ordering two main dishes. Large selection of Abita beer!

They have a soup sampler!!! So cool. I wish more restaurants would do this. They bring out about 5 – 6 different soups in small cups for you and your party to share and sample to help you know what to order. The restaurant is small-ish, so you may have to wait. It’s a good idea to stop in first & then if there’s a wait you can shop nearby while waiting for your table. Their gumbos were tasty. Lobster bisque was really flavorful & tasty but extremely creamy and rich. Fried catfish appetizer — a good value & tasty. Fried okra appetizer — OK. comes with a lot, so I wouldn’t recommend ordering more than 1 of these for your table. Beignets — Subpar. The powdered sugar didn’t provide enough sweetness to overcome the saltiness of the dough.

A-Freaking-Mazing!!! A MUSTGO!!! This is where it’s at in Breck! The food is super authentic and that atmosphere/Décor feels like you just walked into a bar off Bourbon Street in NOLA. The restaurant is pretty small so expect a wait time(with no where to wait), ask for the free samples while waiting. My husband and I got the crawfish étouffée & the lobster bisque– both are to die for! We will def. Be back!!!

Here we are in Breckenridge looking for lunch and who would have thought cajun food. Well, it was great. The sample tray was straight out of a brew house concept and it worked. My kids tried food they would have never tried otherwise. We had the Catfish Poyboy, great! We took the soups to our condo for dinner. What a fantastic place and when in Breck, try this place!

Arrived for a late lunch during the summer. Located on Main Street and nearby my hotel, so we walked over. The interior is on the smaller side but decorated with a southern flair. My waitress who just relocated to Colorado from Alaska was friendly and helpful. After being seated, samples of their popular items were brought over for tasting which was a nice gesture and good marketing. Ending up ordering the bowl of red beans and rice which included toasted bread & slaw and the seafood fried sampler contained a generous portion of shrimp, oysters, catfish, slaw and fries. Both entrées were solid and we saved room for beignets for dessert although, I would have preferred them to be cooked a bit crispier. BTW they accept credit cards and have a sister location half an hour away in Frisco.

Nice little place. They’ll give you a free sample of all the different gumbo and bisque. I liked the seafood and the lobster bisque; but I’ve definitely had better. The severs are nice and fast. Guess the only reason for 3 stars was the food, I’m not a gumbo fan.

The seafood gumbo is spot on reminiscent of the gulf coast. People accustomed to hot food may find it overly mild. Overall their setup is newby friendly. They will bring a free sample of each entre for you to try. All are good so a decision will be difficult. For dessert one must try the beniegt. These would be perfect with some honey. If you’re in Brek come here.

Hungry for lunch and headed up Main Street to see what was available. Lots and lots of bar and grill type establishments here so hoping to find something different. We literally smelled some spicy scents wafting from the drop down row of shops below and spied this Cajun place hidden away. I did a quick Unilocal check and it looked like others had good experiences there. The service was awesome – thank you sweet Anita from Lousiana!! – and the food was great too! We had shrimp po boys with slaw(homemade for sure). The French roll was buttery, flaky and perfectly toasted. We didn’t try the French donuts but we were all too full. We will probably come back again later this week though.
