McDonald’s

The big plus with this location is that they are located really close to Haunted Trails, the mini-​golf and arcade place. So if you have a taste for McDonald’s, especially if you are with your kids, you can walk over. Like most others, they have the newer building design and double drive-​thru for faster service.

I usually like this McDonald’s, but not anymore. I ordered the 20 piece chicken nuggets and they gave me 12. TWELVE! 6 in each box. I don’t like getting jipped. Never again.

No one should be rushed let alone given an attitude when ordering… once I received my order which was just a couple drinks and some fries fries were cold and super salted at least the drinks were ok, then again those come out a machine.

This is my day for McDonald’s reviews. We came back from California and landed at Midway the other evening and on the way home got hungry. We stopped at this nice looking McDonald’s for burgers. This one looks like it is new or just recently spiffed up in a big way. The whole place was clean and tidy… very comforting.
The food was the usual… you know what you are getting at a McDonald’s and this one did not disappoint. In fact, this one was very good. The food was fresh and fries just out of the fryer. The staff here was also tip-​top. Two older guys in back (probably owners or family members of same) and a young staff member running the cash register (probably also a family member). They were polite and professional… well trained.
Anyway, seemingly run by a bunch of family members, they did everything right and cared about their establishment. This is a good McDonald’s…give it a try.

I’ve stopped here a few times either going to or from work, mainly just for a pop although sometimes I’ve gotten food (or ice cream!). The people who worked there have always been nice and hadn’t messed up my order. The parking lot in the area is a mess though! It feels like your driving down stairs!
