Crown Fried Chicken had me hooked the moment I took my first bite! Their chicken is tasty and their menu has plenty of variety. I get food here at least once or twice a week and I never leave disappointed. The Italian cheeseburger is to die for and they have plenty of sides and desserts to go around. Plus the prices are always really good. The outside of the building could use a fresh coat of paint but don’t let the outside look discourage you from eating here. The inside is always very clean and the staff are very friendly and courteous. If you’re in the area, definitely check this place out, you won’t regret it!

Crown Chicken will probably kill me, but it’s awesome now! Great fried chicken without a doubt. Rivals Pizzings, but why choose? Other than that the employees seem a little shady, but certainly not offensive. If Crown died tomorrow, I’d hold a yearly memorial service.

The food is so unhealty. Fried food that is loaded with plenty of spices and sodium. Rather its the corn on the cobb, beef patties or fried chicken. Even the collard greens are loaded with so much salt. The neighborhood is definitely not for tourists before or after dark. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because late at night if your hungry, its either chinese food, or a late night Burger King or Mcdonalds. If im going to eat unhealthy I might as eat some good tasting unhealty fried chicken. Atleast I will go to the grave with a smile.

come here for the chicken and fries, the chicken is hot crispy and fresh. some good greazy ass shit. the fries are very reminiscent of McDonald’s (in a good way yahmean) and your robbing yourself if you don’t get cheese sauce on them. however this place only gets three stars because the rest pretty much sucks. the sides are all frozen or premade crap. come for chicken go next door for a some brews from deftoes and your good.
also gets bonus points for being open late, but be warned this neighborhood can eat you alive

I’ve been checking out restuarants in the area, and stopped by this place for some take out. The beef ribs –my selection– will win no awards. The chicken pieces –my friend’s selection– were pretty good, according to him. However, the sweet potato pie, apple pie, and onion rings were popular with neither of us.
