My wife likes the In The Raw on Peoria but we live in BA. We thought we would try this one and were not impressed. While the spider rolls are great and the sushi chef was accommodating by custom creating my wife her favorite spicy tuna combo, our server was indifferent toward us and totally distracted talking to the pretty female servers and delivering my soup appetizer only after the sushi chef reminded him it had been sitting at the pass for almost 10 min. In short the food was good the service was poor.

Good sushi, but I’ve had better. We ate here for the second time on Saturday night(during the Rose District’s White Linen Night), and sat outside this time. I love the downtown Broken Arrow atmosphere.

At first, I thought this place was going to be completely overpriced and mediocre. I must say, they have very fresh seafood! I’ve only ordered to go, so I have yet to dine in. I ordered their volcano roll, and pork gyoza. Volcano roll is spicy, but their scallops were so tender! Must order again!

Meh. For the price and the atmosphere, the sushi was pretty cheap. When ordering chef’s choice dishes, the business shouldn’t take the opportunity to put the cheapest stuff(fake crab, cooked shrimp, egg, tough octopus, etc) on the plate. If you’ve never had sushi before, you might not notice, and probably won’t crave it again. We visit Broken Arrow/Tulsa occasionally and definitely will need to find a different sushi place.

I took my wife and son and sister-in-law here for dinner last Tuesday, I got to say the place looks great but the food specifically the sushi was horrible it tasted like someone had dried out the rice to where it was so hard that it was chewable like a steak but without the great taste, the price wasn’t expensive and I have no problem with paying for good food and good service but the sushi was horrible the worst I’ve ever had the waiter on a sidenote was awesome she did a great job she was friendly and nice always had the drinks filled always had a smile. *Needs new Sushi Chefs*

Joseph made us our sushi at the sushi bar, it was phenomenal and the customer service was great. It was a tease watching the sushi being made but such a fun experience.

I love the variety of vegetarian rolls. Our server was attentive and friendly. It is more pricy than other sushi options in Broken Arrow but I’m glad In The Raw has come to BA!

It was just okay. The atmosphere was nice but the green tea was bitter(I sent it back and they took it off the bill) One sushi roll tasted like they used canned tuna. There are other, better places for good sushi in BA. I agree with a previous review that it’s meh

Unless you’re ready to drop 100 bucks on dinner I’d say go to another sushi place. Not that this is bad but all the really good stuff is so expensive. $ 15 for crab cakes, oh so good but stupid price. The 5161 roll amazing but $ 40 for a sushi roll come on. At least for the folks in BA it’s close so bring your credit card and let’s do this.

Meh, pretty much sums it up. I drive past the place all the time taking my son to school and was excited to have In The Raw much closer to me. Stopped in yesterday to get some sushi to go. The rice was completely under seasoned. I don’t know if it just needed some salt or vinegar wasn’t added to the rice but it lacked any taste whatsoever. The flat rice ruined the fresh ingredients they had used and wasn’t worth eating. A waste of $ 50! Don’t think I will bother trying again to see if it was just a bad night for rice or this was the acceptable standard there. The staff and the front door that helped though were incredibly nice and courteous so I will give them that.

Disappointed. We were excited to try the new sushi place, but they were already closed and locked, at 7pm on a Thursday. Hours on the door say open until 9, and the sandwich board inside the shop welcomes you to «join us for new years 2015!» So they weren’t closed for the holiday. Updated to add: we went back later, still not great. The sushi was ok, but very pricy.

Food great. Service horrific. If Braden comes to your table to wait on you, run! Request someone else! Trust me!

Ah, the curse of just being«okay». Truly, there’s better sushi to be had in Broken Arrow and certainly around Tulsa. The ambiance is excellent and feels really hip and trendy. Sadly, that seems to be what they’re really selling here: bland sushi and other dishes that don’t really excite or inspire. The redeeming quality of this place was that the service was professional and polite. The food just isn’t authentic and that’s what leaves me a little disappointed.

This place was good. We showed up at 8pm with a party of 6 and got in pretty fast, it was dead after 9. Calamari was good and so was the spicy roll combo.
