I had dinner there over the summer and it was great. But when I ordered take out, that was different story. Childrens chicken fingers meal was supposed to have 4 strips and only came with 2. The lasagna was MICROWAVED! The food being Rock hard underneath gave that one away! The grilled chicken Cesar salad wrap should have been called charcoal chicken wrap because the chicken was over cooked and over seasoned! I should have asked for a wrap with salt! Ordered take here 2x and both times the orders were Horrible! Save your money or go to Partricias of throggsneck! 1STAR is too much This place … ITSHORRIBLE!

Food is good, service is great… The other night I was in there for a quick meal… The owner stormed in punching the front door and screaming in the face of the manager… Then he continued to punch the counter… People… when I say punch and scream I mean punch and scream… He then paced back and fourth outside waiting for his hired manager to come out side so he can verbally abuse him some more… Like 2 minutes after all this happened, a table from the back was exiting, the table had small children… It was like OMG… This person scared the crap out of us… And there was small kids in the restaurant at the same time… Unreal… The staff is great, that manager is a very nice man and comes over to check up on tables every time we have been there… The owner needs to get a grip on his life… NOONE deserves to be spoken to in that way!!! Dirtbag!!!

Extremely delicious pizza! Holy cow is it good. I have tried a couple of entrees, and they were also tasty, but pricy. Got the very distinct impression that having a light dinner(splitting a pizza, soup and side with no wine) is not their preferred demographic for dine in. I suggest going at off-peak times if you’re aiming for economy and don’t want to feel guilty about taking up prime booth real estate on a cheap date. One other comment, which I feel should be mentioned after reading the other reviews– consider sticking to entrees OR pizza/wood fire items when ordering take out. The oven and the kitchen don’t seem that they are always in sync, which can mean that even picking up food, dishes from one or the other might be cold.

This restaurant is an incredibly welcome addition to my childhood ‘hood of Woodlawn — a good non-Irish restaurant right in the heart of New York City’s own little Ireland(nice try, Sunnyside). Don’t get me wrong, I love corned beef and Shepard’s pie as much as the next guy — in fact, probably more than the next guy — but it’s nice to have an option in this great neighborhood that isn’t an Irish pub or a take-out/fast food joint. Their pasta dishes are excellent — the Spaghetti a la Frank Sinatra is a standout, with the pasta tossed with shrimp, clams, olives and capers in garlic and oil. The Orecchiette w/Broccoli Rabe and Italian Sausage is excellent as well. In fact, their Rabe is excellent(a «signature» according to their menu) — if you don’t get a dish which incorporates it, make sure to get a side. They grill an excellent lamb chop as well, served with a side of Broccoli Rabe(sensing a theme yet)? They occasionally have a grilled octopus appetizer which is superb if that is your thing. The owner is omnipresent and incredibly friendly(we’ve gotten free pizza samples or other apps when eating in multiple times) and Antonio is an exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, efficient waiter. My friend, who still lives back home swears by their pizza for take out. I’ve only tried the eponymous Patricia’s Pizza w/Black olives, asparagus, red onions and gorgonzola, which I loved. A few minor drawbacks: if you are eating in, they have beer and wine only — I miss the scotch greatly, especially if I want to go with grilled steak or lamb. And a couple of the standard Italian restaurant apps I’ve tried(baked clams, calamari) have been a bit bland and mediocre. And finally and most importantly, I don’t care if this is the Bronx, the omnipresent Yankee-only décor is a bit of a turnoff. This is a two-team town.(Only one of which made the World Series this year, mind you.)

Nothing to brag about. Very inconsistent, don’t ever order chicken unless you like it extremely dry.

Their pizza tasted better when they first opened, their crust is too soft. However, the restaurant ambience is family oriented and their lasagna, chicken parm and fetuccini Alfredo are great.

It was an unpleasant experience to say the least. Went for lunch and extremely disappointed. The place itself is decorated very nicely but the what matters most is the food and its definifely not good at at all. Service is worse. The pasta Sinatra was so mushy and over cooked and the shrimp were so hard. The chicken sorentino seemed old and just not good. The croquets were terrible. Flavorless and served cold. I sent them back twice and still cold. The servers were scarce and couldn’t be found. It was a waste of time and money. Won’t be back.

My workplace always orders in pizza from Patrizia’s, and it’s everyone’s favorite part of the week. It is upscale, brick oven style pizza. My favorites are the margherita, the chicken Caesar, and the one with vodka sauce and peas. I have also tried the chicken parm and some salads, which are good, but not as spectacular as the pizza.

I have ordered from Patrizia’s over 10 times in the past year. I live a few blocks down the road, and it’s nice to be able to order through the Unilocal app. The good: Their Prime Rib(medium rare) is phenomenal. One of the best Prime Ribs in the area hands down. This is really the one and only reason I have continued to get delivery from them. Fairly quick delivery(considering I am 2 blocks away) THEBAD Tonight was the last time I will ever order from here again and this is why: 1. Other than their Prime Rib — the rest of their dishes are pretty awful. Nine times out of ten the food arrives cold, soggy and tasteless. 2. They continually screw up my order. And tonight it became clear that they may even do it deliberately. I requested that garlic be kept to a minimum, take a look at what they did instead in the picture below! 3. They overcharged me over $ 7 for a side vegetable that was supposed to be included. 4. When I called to figure out what was going on the staff was INCREDIBLY rude and told me it wasn’t there issue to deal with. Don’t waste your time with this place. Plenty of great Italian food in the area. … Look at the picture attached and you decide for yourself if the amount of garlic they put in was deliberate or not!!!

The food here is incredible. We came here on Easter Sunday and ordered the Calamari, Pizza, Chicken Picatta, Lamb Chops, and had some amazing Italian desserts. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect for a family setting. The kids loved their food as well. We were so stuffed.

Today was a sad day. We ordered for the first time. On the menu for today was margarita pizza, potato croquettes, mozzarella sticks, and meatballs. Everything was bland! The pizza had like 6 tiny shriveled pieces of basil. It was so sad. We ate two pieces and then threw it away. It was flavorless. The meatballs taste like they were left in a crockpot for a few days to dry out. We won’t be ordering again. After spending so much money to sample what this place had to offer we realize this will be the ONE and ONLY time we waste our money here :(also why are there tomato seeds in the sauce? That is not normal, just lazy

I’m down with Patrizia’s. I’ve been here 3 times now and I like it. Here’s the deal: It’s an Italian-American restaurant. In Woodlawn. So, we have some very basic dishes on here. Chicken Parm. Chicken Marsala. Pizzas. The menu is heavy on the classics, with some more inventive pasta dishes. That being said, if you are in the mood for Italian, it’s a good choice in Woodlawn. A couple of restaurants have failed in this spot, and I’m hoping Patrizia’s, with the recognizable name and the crowd-pleasing menu, can hang on. On Friday night, my husband and I ordered garlic bread(sooooo garlicky, not a complaint from me), mozzarella sticks, Chicken Marsala and Chicken Pacello. If I had a complaint, it would
