Great burger and fries. Onion rings are excellent as well. Great staff. Nice big layout. Prices are good.

I had ordered a grilled cheese on rye with tomato and a chocolate milkshake. The sandwich was mostly tomato, very little cheese, and the milk shake had very little ice cream added to the milk. Cannot be confident that you will get what you want.

My favorite diner in the Bronx! I probably have never seen a menu with such ethnic diversity of foods! They have everything here. And, a diner that serves liquor cheap? Sign me up. I love getting the tres golpes or their steaks.

Greasy and over priced! I walked In here starving with excitement to eat, I ordered the chicken dumplings and the chicken and waffle, I had to use all my napkins on trying to take some of the oils out, this place made me give up hope on diners.

It’s a diner so I didn’t expect too much. The soda was flat, my toast was burnt, my eggs were cold and my pancakes tasted like they had been microwaved. Not good at all. My friend ordered a milkshake… it was $ 5 bucks and it was horrible. So was her piece of banana cream pie. …hardly any banana and way to much cream. And our waitress never bothered to check on us after we received our food and then we had to flag her down for our check. It was not busy at all.

My family has been dining at this restaurant for over 15 years and with time the menu has only gotten better. The staff is very welcoming from host to waiters. Everything i have eaten there is delicious!

Mac and Cheese clearly came out of a box. The «cheese» is powder. (Read Fast Food Nation to figure out how this stuff is actually made to taste like cheese.) Vanilla shake didn’t have adequate thickness and tasted more like flavored milk.
Here are three words when I go to yet another disappointing NYC diner: GO TO IHOP!!!

Came here after the Riverdale 10K race recently and we settled into a booth pretty quickly. Service was fine. I ordered french toast and a side of bacon and eggs and was surprised that the french toast came on regular bread — in my experience with diners, many of the french toast platters use brioche bread or challah bread. In any case, it was OK fare, but I wouldn’t come back anytime soon.

I like the food and the place is clean and nice. I’ve been only once and I think I will visit it again.

Absolute worst diner that I’ve ever been to around the area. When I arrived, I was seated immediately and they gave me a few minutes to decide on what I wanted to eat. The two girls who waited on us were so hood, it was unbelievable. Acting like we knew each other since way back when… NO. AFTER, she took my order and we waited about about ¹⁰⁄₁₅ mins and while we waited we asked for orange juice. She said what size, small or large and at first we said small. that cup was literally a bit bigger than a shot glass. After she brought it, I said no let me have a large then and it was the size of a regular cup for $ 3.50. No. And it looked like it was straight from a carton, nothing from a bottle already closed?
I ordered pancakes and they were so stale. I ordered eggs and they were not the way I’ve asked it for. It was just a complete wreck and the home fries weren’t even cooked completely.
I would never go back to that diner and pay them jack. For that, I’ll go to GoldMine diner on 231^st and pay my money’s worth for that quality food. That’s more like it.

Just ordered a bacon cheese burger deluxe take out, and I asked for it to be extremely well done. I just got home, and cut my burger in half to eat and it was medium rare.; Now, I have to finish cooking this burger on the stove. I would take it back, but I live too far away to go back and return it, but this will be my last visit at this diner.

Food was OK, I was most impressed by the morir sonando, which was a creamy orange drink.

Horrible customer service, male server with light eyes was very rude, so rude we decided to go eat mcdonalds down the street .
I believe his name is Josh or Jonathan. Claim he was upset bc he did not have backup on duty.

Been coming here a long time both during highschool and after. Would come here late at night often for some late night food and this would often times be our hangout spot.
Walking in the other day and were sat down immediately. This usually happens all the time. Sat down and the waiter gave us an adequate amount of time to look over the menu being that it’s pretty lengthy.
The waiter has been working there for over 2 years pretty good service and even had a chat with him. I had ordered a Hennessy burger with American cheese (instead of cheddar) no bacon, and onion rings instead of fries. They charge you a little more for onion rings fyi .
Food came out at a decent pace but when i looked i was let down a little. There were literally just like 5 onion rings, thats child’s play.
Afterwards i ordered a pepsi soda float with vanilla ice cream and whip. Depending on the waiter/​waitress will depend on what they can put on it. Before the waitress we had would hook it up (sprinkles, whip, even a cherry). This time just whip.
Food and company was good and will be coming back.

I can’t believe I have not review this diner yet i was sure i did but i come here once a month if you show the manager gus a picture of me im sure he will gave you a discount, my daughter love the Belgian waffles and bacon my son loves the wings and I love just about almost everything they cook pretty good if u ask me love the fried calamari must have if you haven’t already

Never a bad experience lots of options and great prices. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Love the black bean soup and waffle fries.

Bleh. honestly food was better the last time we came here.
Our waitress was nice but the food was not good. The cook wasnt on his a game lol.

This place continues to suck. I only order here because it’s meets the criteria of delivering to my area and taking my card since I seldom have cash. Everytime I’ve ordered there has be a problem until I realized tonight 11÷24÷15 I need to leave this place alone all together. They are an outdated relic of an establishment and should be bulldozed and replaced with a business that would better serve the community.

I had an appointment in the area that ran a little long and of course I was late for my train, so breakfast it was!
It wasn’t crowded at all on a weekday around 8 am. I was seated quickly and looked over the large menu. Even though the place has that old school chrome diner look, the food has more of a Spanish flair. I figured I’d go a little different and ordered the breakfast jambalaya.
I really pictured it much differently in my head. I was thinking a large bowl with the cheddar grits taking the place of the rice and the eggs being on top of the shrimp, chicken and chorizo. Instead I got 3 plates. The large main plate was a soupy mix of onions, peppers, sauce and the meat next to the eggs. There was also a bowl with grits that had greasy cheddar melted on top and my toast plate.
The taste was good, I just expected something different. It’s a pretty good spot for the area, just not the greatest.

Typical diner the game changer is the service. They are accommodating, friendly and willing to make your visit satisfying.
I had the pineapple waffles and the waffles are good! The standard egg bfast is good as well. However, make sure they butter your toast. Who forgets to butter the damn toast… one job bro to butter the toast and you failed.
The coffee is decent but not the standard strong brew you get at most diners in the city. Step your coffee game up!
The wings I hear are the go to thing if you aren’t having breakfast. So I will have to try them if I end up back here possibly a late night jaunt.
