This dunkin is gross and just makes me really uncomfortable. I should but feel bad about mentioning the sickly homeless looking people always loitering around on the inside of the building every day either blankly staring at eachother or at you as you walk in and eat. They’re gross, gurgle and cough and take up space. They don’t even buy anything. Its like a get together place for them, i dont understand why its allowed. It’s no good for a business. The staff is clueless about their own food and very irresponsible. They should know whats in their donuts or what something is made out of but they dont. The good itself is semi acceptable. Drinks are a plus. But the donuts are ALWAYS stale and old and never fresh. The cleanliness is horrible, let’s just say that the bathrooms turn me right around and out the door.

Boston and America runs on Dunkin’? Well we should all run away from this Dunkin’. Employees seem to not enjoy being at work and the doughnuts were hard and over cooked. My wife kept saying she could tell her 2 doughnuts«weren’t made with love like back home.» When it came time to pick up my order, it was lazily tossed on the pickup counter and I guessed it was mine since I heard some mumbled words and«egg» from the employee. Also, a receipt wasn’t offered at all. Very disappointed.

UNRELIABLE. UNPROFESSIONAL. I arrived to this location at 6:15 am. The door was locked. There were employees inside putting stuff on trays but they would not let anyone in. Another gentleman was waiting with me. They advertise a 5:30am opening time. It says so on their door and online. We tapped the windows and the employee mouthed«we just opened» and seemed to gesture that they needed 15 more minutes. You’re opening 1 hour late?!! And you can’t even try to see if you can help us(we both just needed coffee!!)

This is by far the WORST Dunkin Donuts I have EVER visited! Because it is close to my house, I have continued to give it a try. For a brief moment, they had a competent manager on site that kept things in order. But, unfortunately that did not last. Maybe it turned around for a bit during the summer, but now, it is awful! Usually understaffed, this morning they had 4 people on. It still took them over ten minutes to complete a simple order with no one in line ahead of me(which they proceeded to get wrong). They were standing around, talking with each other about who they were dating, using inappropriate language(offensive) to address each other, and one member of the staff even left the counter area(when there were people waiting at this point) to check his bank account at the atm. They are rude and act as if they could care less. I will go to another Dunkin Donuts just to avoid this place. I originally thought it would take more time to go to another location, but when all is said and done, their lack of motivation and the time it takes them to take an order and complete it, will all be the same. Something major needs to change at this location. It is absolutely awful!

«Would you like hash browns with that?» The old upsell pitch. Dunkin Donuts has bought it hook line and sinker. Make sure you pitch every sucker, I mean customer… So, I’m in the process of forking over a twenty dollar bill for an egg and cheese croissant, an oj and small coffee for which I’ll get more than enough grease and cancer promoter to offset my indulgence, but they offer to put me in the express lane to the cardiac unit. «Would you like hash browns with that?» The corporate genius promoting the upsell greed maneuver could care less if it ANNOYS the customer! My response, «don’t you think that if I wanted hash browns, I would’ve asked for hash browns!?» CAUTION! Response not recommended. Counter guy returns my attitude with subtle but provoking mockery. Other counter person chimes in. Order prep gal has some free advice. Situation escalates to the manager coming out and scuffling with the counter person. Manager tells me not to step foot in his establishment again. Did I explain to the manager that the counter person was mocking me? No. Don’t worry Mister Manager, I’ll avoid Dunkin Donuts, unless it’s to use the bathroom. On Beacon near Saint Mary’s I’ll go to Whole Foods. What a way to start a day out of the twilight zone… Two stars? I got my money back and made a better food choice.

Terrible terrible service. Just so slow. Employees goofing off behind the line, long line, people waiting. Not a good location. Booo

I thought I had reviewed this Dunks, but apparently not. Anyway, as this Dunks is close to my school, I go here occasionally. My only comment about this location is that they never have enough people working the counter. Also a quick FYI: if you need the bathroom, they will need to buzz you in.

$ 0.94 Blueberry cake! So good. Butternut donut is amazing as well. Dunkin’ Donuts is definitely on every single block in Boston /east coast. There’s even DD drive-thru. There is definitely more dunkin donuts in Boston than there are starbucks in LA… actually, I think DD wins. Its totally unbelievable. I think I saw like five in Boston Longan airport alone haha. Basically, its a huge chain that will never go out of fad, especially in the chilly boston weather. Their soft, sweet donuts is a staple to any cup of coffee. There is parking directly across the store in the middle of Beacon street(free parking after 8pm everyday).

Awful customer service! I have never been in a place where people never smile, don’t greet you, and are slow-moving and incompetent. Also, as other reviewers have pointed out, the place is filthy! There are many other excellent, clean, and friendly places on this block where you can get a cup of coffee and a quick bite to eat(Japonaise Bakery, Busy Bee, Tatte, even Whole Foods), so I am not sure how this place continues to stay in business.

I decided to give this place another chance. And I’m glad I did. I’ve not been going there since the beginning of summer. They’ve had a complete turnover in staff. These folks are friendly and always have a smile. The lattes now have coffee in them. The donuts have been fresher the times that I’ve gotten them. They just need to wipe off the tables and sweep the floor occasionally.

Terrible service and rude to kids. Food fresh but don’t ask for anything out of the ordinary if you don’t want an eye roll !

This store is the reason I ALWAYS choose Starbucks over Dunkin’ Donuts. I can’t drink caffine, so after ordering a decaf latte, I always double check that my drink is in fact decaf(you’d be surprised how often they mess that up.) This Dunkin’ Donuts not only messed up my order, but then lied to me when I double checked. I was nauseous for the rest of the day, sweating and shaking. Never again. NEVER again. There’s a Starbucks and Espresso Royale Café if you go up to BU campus. I’d recommend them any day.

Love DD! DD Lite — The new menu. Flatbread sandwich with egg whites and turkey sausage. Coffee — Milk and Sugar. The best! No wifi but very convenient off the Green T line

All set with this location. Always filthy! There a couple of workers there whom I feel sorry for because they are constantly smiling and hustling, but they always seem shortstaffed. Did I mention dirty? Eeeeeeew…

This is where the local bums collect to watch the blaring TV. Don’t go in wearing flip-flops because they’ll stick solid to the tile, causing you to leave the flip-flop behind and step on the floor with your bare foot –yuk. The coffee tastes better on ice. Ask for«a little sugar» not«regular» sugar – your teeth will fall out. Reliable

This was the first location in Boston that I tried what we used to do in high school at our dunks. I went up to the girl at the register with a handful of change and said«I’d like this many munchkins, please.» The poor girl was so confused, trying to do the math, then she looked back at me, I smiled and she realized the utter ridiculousness of it. She then said«what kinds do you want?» I ended up with half a bag of them for less than a buck. Sup. I sat down to eat and watched BOTH employees leave. I’m sitting there alone in the store and they’re outside having a smoke and talking on their phones. I went to the counter to check. Empty. I went to the bathroom, wondering if they would come back in after seeing I was no longer sitting by the door and clearly had not left the building. When I came out, they were still outside. This is how they roll at Beacon St. dunks in Brookline. This, apparently, is life on the other side of Comm. Ave.

Me: I’d like a medium hot coffee. Black. Them: Cream? Me: No. Them: Sugar? Me: No. Them(incredulous): Just black? This happened every day for about a year. The coffee, however, is like liquid crack. And anyone who doesn’t like donuts and whatever else they sell there is just not human. I’ll get DD for the rest of my life based on the goodies alone, but I wish that this one in particular would understand the concept of not wanting cream and sugar in one’s coffee. It *does* exist!
