Ordered some food for delivery. I had separate money for a tip for the driver but once I paid and waited for change he just took the money I gave him for the food which I had change still and turned left I sat there and waited and he went back to the car. I’m just upset in the manner he did it. Horrible

The boneless wings were amazing as always. I first had Wings Over when I went to UConn and it was always perfect there. This place is almost as good; the fries could be better. They’ve been a little soggy every time I order. Staff is generally okay. There are some minor things but nothing so drastic that it merits mentioning. Parking can suck in that area so I now opt to get delivery just to save me some time and energy. Definitely not a bad experience, but not as good as back in college when my friends and I would order wings multiple times a week.

I guess this place gets mad at you when they’re busy. After ordering online and getting told that the wait time would be 2 hours, I decided to cancel my order. I called the store and explained the situation. I was given an immediate«you need to call foodler» and was hung up on. Confused I called back and was hung up on again. It took 3 calls before I could talk to someone who explained to me that they cancelled the order and would not deliver the food but if I wanted my credit back I needed to call foodler. Apparently the the restaurant I ordered from could not issue a credit to my card. It should not have taken 3 phone calls for that to be told to me. Bottom line, wings over can’t handle the pressure of a «busy Sunday night» and don’t know how to talk to their customers nicely.

I don’t know where this bad service is at Brookline, but I’ve never ran into it. Either way, it’s a 5-minute walk from my apartment, and it’s a life saver when I get off work late and everything else has already been closed down for the night. I have so far gotten some of the best service. The front of the house is always open and talkative. I’ve had conversations with them about everything, and they seemed pretty knowledgeable about their food, always answering my questions and such. In terms of the food, I love the wings and the crinkle fries. I always get them, so I can’t speak for the rest of the menu. So far, the wings have always been fresh and warm, and a medium fry can last me two days without a problem. The boneless are just as great and warm as the bone-in. They sell the boneless by weight instead of piece, which is a blessing if you’ve ever gone to a place and gotten some boneless wings where one boneless is just a small little nugget :/This prevents that type of cheating. You get what you order. 10⁄10 would recommend to any wing lover or anyone who just wants some good olé classic American cuisine.

This review is less about the food and more about the service. Wings are fresh and meaty. No real complaints. But the service inside the building leaves A LOT to be desired. Not even a «hello» from cashier. She stood there, looked at her nails while we read our order to her. No confirmation on hearing us, just a lazy uninterested total at the end. I don’t expect anyone to be overly enthusiastic but maybe don’t make the customers feel like us being there is a interruption to your doing nothing. Also, be prepared to wait upwards of an hour… even when youre the only one in the building. Tl:dr. Good wings, terrible service.

Always on time, with affordable wings of good quality. The wing sauces available are a great variety, they never disappoint. Great for having a party or busy with exams just order the 60 wing combo and it’ll cost $ 60, but a dollar a wing ain’t bad. Highly recommend

As opposed to Boston Wing-it, this place allows you to get up to two flavors with a 10-wing order. Boston Wing-it only allows one flavor. I have not dined in the actual location. I have only ordered for delivery once. The experience wasn’t terrible. I ordered 10 wings, half-Wimpy, half-Garlic Parmesan. I LOVED the Garlic Parmesan. They were crispy and flavorful. The Wimpy sauce was oily and a little weak. It left the wings soggy upon arrival. The guy who took my order over the phone was super cool and said it would take about 45 minutes, but it took almost two hours for it to arrive. Prior to ordering, I did read some other reviews that made the same kind of complaints so I wasn’t too surprised. The guy who delivered was also super nice. I couldn’t get mad. I was just happy my food had finally came. All in all, I would order again but stick to flavors that is solely seasoning/rubs as opposed to saucey sauces because it hate soggy wings.

Terrible! 25 wings took almost 2 hours to deliver. When we called to inquire about the status of the ordered, we were hung up on or put on hold indefinitely. They sent the delivery man to the wrong city. They also are not upfront about using Foodler as their delivery service. Wings showed up cold, tasted badly, and we felt sick after eating them.

If the restaurant says 20 minutes for takeout and they don’t have your food ready for in an hour you tend not to be a happy customer.

Unlike the rest of the low rated reviews, I had no problem with the service. Took about 35min at 6pm so no complaints there. The problem is that the chicken and sauces just aren’t that good. I got the 1lb order of chicken and some onion rings(~$ 20). OK not too expensive, but I got about 12 onion rings that were thin and cold($~4 iirc) really crappy. Plus the chicken is stringy and limp, smothered in sauce, but they are just sad in the thin cheap boxes. Speaking of boxes, as cheap as they are they won’t even give a separate box for chicken with a different sauce. Also the sauces are bland and not even tasty. The«afterburner: supposedly the hottest they have is a joke. Buffalo Wild Wings have way better sauces and they actual pack a punch. This place is so mediocre and I never feel satisfied. Always cold sad chicken strips with no crunch or zest. I’ll try to remember not to order from here again.

I don’t recommend coming here to sit down and eat, but it’s absolutely fine for pick-up. Compared to what most people will compare these wings to(Amherst), they actually come fairly close. They’re good enough that I come back every few months at least. My favorite flavors of boneless to get are honey mustard, honey BBQ, and texas mesquite, the latter of which I recommend trying at least once. I once tried Wings over Farmingdale, which is located on Long Island, and I was extremely disappointed there, so I would say Wings Over Brookline definitely falls in the middle between Farmingdale and Amherst, and the quality of the boneless wings is certainly closer to Amherst-quality than the awful wings I had in NY.

Order from Bön Chon or Wing It instead, they are both just minutes away and far superior than this chain. Would give 0 stars if it were an option. Not a seat in the place to sit because all the workers were sitting down. Really loud with some new delivery service set up on all the tables and benches. Paying customers could not sit. Kind of weird and not very accommodating to regular customers that have helped support this business for years! I’d recommend going somewhere else. Wait time just to order is ridiculous due to all the drivers coming in and picking up orders. TOTALCHAOS! Our order took 35 mins! Finally one of the delivery drivers got up and we found a spot at private table. Randomly in a few minutes, another worker sat down at our table as if we knew each other and were all friends. WILLNEVERCOMEHEREAGAIN! Not even an apology from the Colgate hoodie wearing manager after we pointed out that our food sat bagged n ready for 10 minutes getting cold. He rudely turned his back and walked away. Order local and not from a chain. Bön Chon and Wing it have awesome wings and are just 5 minutes away

I just sat in the restaurant for over an hour waiting for my order to come up. I had made the order online 30 minutes prior to arriving and approximately an hour into waiting they asked what my order even was and had to re-print it for the kitchen despite cashing me out right when I arrived. This is unacceptable and I will not be returning.

Ordered food. Hour and a half later it didn’t show up. Called for an eta they said«shortly» and maybe 15 min. An hour after that they said they would refund the order and have it to us in 15 min. A half an hour after that they called and said they never had an order, even though they looked up our order the first time we called them. Would only send the food if we paid them. 3 and a half hours after the original order we had no food. Needless to say I will never be ordering from here again.

I want to add a super positive review to the chorus of negative ones on here so far. I don’t know if I just get lucky or what, but this place always delivers on time(usually ahead of schedule) when I order. The food is still hot and the delivery people have always been incredibly polite to me. More importantly, their boneless wings are AMAZING — seriously, so much sauce and a ton of different flavors to choose from — and the prices are super reasonable. This is my go-to when I am craving some simple, fried food, and I highly recommend giving it a try! I’ve only ever had food delivered, so I can’t speak to the quality of the inside of the restaurant.

A pet peeve of mine is a restaurant charging for condiments, especially ones that you end up paying for and not receiving. What is the delivery person supposed to do? Come rolling back for a 50 cent cup of ranch that would have made a dry sandwich and stale French fries palatable? I’m not scrounging for quarters, but it’s really the customer service element behind it. Pretty disappointed.

The only thing that keeps me coming back is the wings, not the tacky and ugly interior décor which is pictures of planes framed and put up on the walls. We’ve been coming to this location on and off for years and still think its one of the better locations in terms of consistency in food. Its also normal for some of the workers to stand at front and stare at you like they want to help you but they’re really just delivery drivers and don’t know how to operate the registers. My usual order is the hanger 1 which consists of a pound of boneless wings with your choice of two different sauces, fries and a can of soda. Depending on your appetite, this can be split into two meals. Go to sauces for me are the garlic parm. and honey mustard with ranch dipping sauce. Beware that if you go with the garlic parm. make sure you have gum handy as your breathe is going to stank. I noticed that by you calling the order in will not only save you time but the stress of standing around in such a small confinement. Whatever they tell you for a pick up time, expect to double it as they are normally or almost never correct. I will continue to come here as long as it stays the same as all my prior visits.

TLDR: Food– 4 Service– 3 Atmosphere– 1 Overall– 3 When you walk into wings over Brookline, it feels like a ripoff version of a major fast food chain. There are very little seating even with it being completely empty during the lunch rush hour. There’s a tv playing channel 5 news and AARP commercials playing in the corner. The cashier had to get off her phone to greet me. After she greeted me I ordered a 10 piece«puddle jumper» bone in wings with sweet onion bar b que sauce and she he told me it’d be a 10 minute wait. The wings came in a black box and I was glad to see they were piping hot. Now I love chicken, literally LOVE chicken so I’m picky. These wings were meaty, easy to bite into and rip off the meat as well as saucy. There wasn’t too much sauce but enough to get the real taste of tangy with a hint of onion. A truly good food experience. Next time I’ll get it to go.

I hate to say this, but after being a customer for 8 years, I will never, ever order Wings Over Brookline, EVER again. We ordered on Sunday and the delivery took over 2 hours for about $ 50 worth of wings. We left a $ 7 tip prepaid on the card. After 1.5 hours, we called and were told it was on the way. After about two hours and ten minutes, the delivery guy calls and says he is downstairs. We ask him to bring it upstairs, since 1) he should, 2) its late and 3) we paid a $ 7 tip. He was combative and refused to. So from my balcony, my friends observed the driver shuffling things in the backseat while I was on the phone with him. I go down, get the food, and it is ICECOLD. After we took a closer look, there was, with little doubt in my mind, pubic hair in the food. Just an absolutely unreal experience from a historical go-to delivery joint for me. Sad day indeed.

If I can give this place no star, I would definitely do that. (we never done delivery at this place, always pick up) We had been ordering at this place because we had a good experience our first 2 times. We ordered 60 wings online at the 3rd time and they screwed up the flavors. They gave us flavors we didn’t order and didn’t us the flavors we ordered, yet the wings were good. We called and wanted to sort things out and they gave us $ 10 back(never really bothered to check whether they have done so or not). Since the wings were still quite consistent, we went back and ordered with the Canjun fries. The wings were not as consistent but the fries were good. We gave one more chance at ordered at an odd hour. Ordered 25 wings, our usual flavors. Came home and found out all the wings were over cooked, dry like it has been in the fryer for a long time and so salty like they poured a whole can of salt onto the wings. The Canjun fries were salty and some were over fried as well. Called the place up and the first thing they told us is they can only refund if we put the wings back and bring them back to them. WTF! Heck no way driving back and wasting gas money. They even blame us for using a $ 5 expired coupon when this coupon when they gave us was already expired and told us we can still use it. Way to blame on a customer!!! We asked for the manager and some random dude, probably just a worker there, talked to us and gave us total BULL! What kind of service is this? NEVEREVEREVEREVERGOINGBACKTOTHISPLACE. BADSERVICE&BADFOOD.

Long waits, with long wait estimates but great chicken recipes. Hangar 2 can feed 3 people: 1&½lbs of chicken strips with 3 different sauces, fries and 2 sods included. When you first walk in you notice 2 booths fitting 6 people each and the long bar seating looking at the wall which fits 4 chairs. Limited seating but if you get your food to go it will still be nice and hot when you get home. Tons of sauce flavors are easier to choose from when you get a combo like Hangar 2. Politeness gets you places in food industry especially in this place because they apologized for long wait and gave me a $ 5 voucher. Good people work in this place and at the end of the day your patience does not go in noticed. Cheers!

I would have given this place 3 stars, but I had a bad experience with one of their delivery guys a while back(which I’ll get to in a bit). I used to order BBQ Boneless wings w/fries from here when I was a student in the area. The food was pretty reliable, though the delivery time always seemed to vary significantly. While I’m not a fan of buffalo sauce, I enjoyed the buffalo wings here. As mentioned above, I would have given a 3-star review, but I took out a point for their delivery guy. Once I ordered food for myself and my friend, and gave the delivery guy exactly 15% tip, which, for the amount of food we ordered was pretty significant. Anyway, I guess he didn’t like the fact that I gave him perfect change for the food, b/c he gave me back the change and grabbed a bill from my hand without even asking, and then with the douchiest smirk in the world, walked away. I was so taken aback at the time that I didn’t really know how to respond, but in retrospect, f*ck that guy. I can’t believe I gave him a good tip, and he decided to take advantage of me like that. I’ll never order from this place again, even though I doubt the guy is still working there.

First I would like to say the inside of this place is like a poor mans KFC its small and they wear tacky uniforms. Not nearly as good of an atmosphere as the one in Amherst. 2nd the prices are high, and the wings are not that good compared to the Hangar. I rarely come to this place it’d be better to drive to Amherst if you want good wings. Delivery is terrible, I gave them one last shot today and they have taken more then one hour for an order on a weekday no call or anything. I don’t know how they stay open. I’m assuming the college kids from BC don’t know the original place is way better. I’d recommend going to wing it or even bravos for wings if you’re hungry. I’d give it less then one star if I could. Don’t go here if you want wings. Go to Amherst if you’d like the good stuff or order from somewhere else. Trust me save your cash.

Long wait(just plain wings!). Waited at the shop — time placed order to receiving food(40 mins). I used to order the same thing from dominos pizza delivery and got my wings AND pizza in 20 mins. All the more, I ordered plain non battered wings. Staff were not serious at their jobs, LOLed the whole time while I was sitting and waiting. I will never order from here ever again! Poor business ethics and services.

Sad I forgot my soda but that was my fault :(
